Yes O.S University open this project for forecasting again after fixing all issues. Now this project will continue till last and people will get rewarded with token. I think it was the common problem with smart contract and now they open it again.

We have plenty of things going on, some of the things you might want to consider are the fact that we have recently joined the "Educate" edtech incubator at UCL and are the only startup leveraging blockchain technology there. It's nice to see a project like this being initiated as it could help students and new graduates to start their careers.
As I understand this project will be much more widely used than just to help students. In the ecosystem of this project there will be employers, scientists and universities.It could turn into a lot of things, that is what is good about the open source environment. If anyone is allowed one day to also build applications on top of this that would be interesting.
By mentioning open source, it would be strange if we do not have an open source environment where developers could contribute to the whole development.
Therefore we've open-sourced our platform now. The files are available at GitHub - https://github.com/OpenSourceUniversity/platform
Let me add something on that point as well, as it is indeed interesting. For an open source project to strive, it needs to launch its private alpha in the public space, so people can have a common ground to collaborate around (and build upon). Therefore we open-up today, given that we are just hours away from going live.
As it was mentioned- our next step would indeed be to attract the broader development community interest and bring many new features and ideas into live on top of OS.UNIVERSITY foundation.

I am currently based in London for a 6-month acceleration program for OS.UNIVERSITY, funded by the European Commission though the '''Erasmus for Entrepreneurs'' program, (https://medium.com/the-os-university-blog/european-comission-awarded-os-university-with-a-financial-grant-for-further-acceleration-c10456623d23). SO I can reassure you that if we would not fail the community of backers, because before we got into the ICO-space, we were already responsible in front of the institutions we represent, and which have already backed us far before the launch of our tokensale.
Having said that, we need to be clear - 90+ percent of startups (even academic spin-offs as ours) fail. These are the facts, and the crypto-world is no-difference, but we have the strong institutional backing of the Technical University of Sofia though the Center for Open Science, and our system will be live to serve both the University and other universities and learners worldwide, no matter the outcome of the tokensale. As simple as that.
Therefore we use to say we don't have a soft-cap, because what is a soft-cap if not a statement that you won't work on your project if people don't give you their money... This is by far the most scandalous idea in the crypto-world, because it is a disclaimer you don't really belive you are capable of executing upfront. In contrast to this concept, we build a system, which we love, which our partners support, and which at least according to certain BIG names such as Hewlett Packard Enterprise (https://livingprogresschallenge.hpe.com/idea-awards/) the world needs! (check for the Open Source University among the top 10 social innovation ideas globally)
For us, the tokensale is a fair way to raise funds for the project by distributing our token in advance, but as i said in my Bloomberg TV interview, it is not an end-goal. The hard-cap that we have does not mean that we are focused on selling the full amount of tokens that are being generated, which is what a ''money grab'' operation would be focused around. This amount of tokens is based on a appraisal, regarding the edtech market and our niche within this market, done before the token generation. The appraisal is available in our documents section at https://os.university/project/ (middle of the page)
Instead of speculating how much of this overall pool will be distributed though the token-sale towards early backers, and how much will remain for the user-base to acquire through the platform in order to use our platform's services post-June, we are solely dedicated on building our platform itself, and advancing our research in the field in parallel. Maybe this is an odd strategy, maybe it is the right strategy. Either way, it is definitely not a ''money-grab'' strategy, I am sure you will agree.

This is nice explanation on ongoing situation where people raised some concerns about the credibility of that project. It sounds great to hear some words from official person I think this will help the people and will clear the doubts about the future of this project.
Thank you for your comment! Only today, I found out about the concerns, being expressed here. We are a bit behind the curve, but I've already asked the team to engage actively with the community in responding to any concerns there might be. We underestimated BitcoinTalk, because 99% of the volume of comments that is generally happening is noise. However the Wings community is extremely vivid and bright in terms of communication, and it is a pity that FUD over-dominates the discussion around our project. Hope to change that.

I don't think Wings need to be 100% safe from scams, afterall we risk nothing, we don't invest there.
One of the purpose of Wings is also to discover if a project could be possibly a scam or not, so it's our job to make research
I would be happy if more of the research is about the fundamentals of a project. So far, most the latest anit-project comments are FUD, related to an error in the WINGs integration, that was communicated and fixed. Here are some reasons to flag this project if you have not done so already.
1) This contract used the wings constructor, rather than a custom contract integration, meaning, kyc is not implementd, and since os university has stated kyc will be done, this contract cannot be used, thus, the crowdsale contract they use in the token sale, will not be this one, meaning, there is no guarantee of being awarded no matter how close your forecast is.
2) There pre-sale ends today, and this is the address used for the crowdsale.

as you can see, there is only 16.88 ETH (11,485.00 worth of eth) in the presale wallet, and like i said, the presale ends in 5 hours, and has been running for a few months.
Now, i want to point out, that i dug a little deeper, and in fact, they have received more than 16.88 eth to this address. A little more than 50 ETH to be exact. How the hell do people think this project will raise millions in the main token sale, when they only raised 25,000 in over two months!!!
With 58K telegram followers? Give me a break...
Now, you ask, if they collected over 50 ETH in the presale, how come there is only 16.88 eth left in the presale wallet?

Is this a scam?
I cannot say for sure, but it is very odd to me how little they have collected during the presale, and what they have been doing with their funds.
Also, how can they be trusted to build a product on blockchain technology, when they do not even know how to build a custom contract to implement with wings in order to have KYC which they stated they will have.
Also, there is no softcap. Why is this bad?
Softcaps, are a way for a project to say, this is the minimum amount of money we need to follow our roadmap, and if we cannot reach this minimum amount, we will return your money to you, as we will not be able to build this product.
Guys, if you have not flagged this project, in my opinion, you are doing a disservice to the blockchain community and the people investing their money into projects of low quality and or that will not be able to have the funds needed to follow thru with their roadmap.
I urge the WINGS community to flag this project, lets help protect investors from low quality ico's

I cannot express a stronger disagreement with the narrative that you are expressing in regards to the project itself, because this is the first-ever university ICO campaign worldwide, and as such, we have been working for almost 3 years to build the future of education on the blockchain in the most compliant and sustainable manner possible.
While most of your comments around the Wings integration are baseless, because they have clearly been answered already, i would like to speak solely about the project. The integration comments I will leave for my colleagues to answer if they decide that your comments are not biased. What kind of a scam project will launch the actual product prior to the fund-raising round?
And if a team goes ahead with its product, i.e. platform, where its utility token can get in use for the holders, how can this be called a scam with all the ignorance and arrogance on the world? I really try to understand your logic, but it is a logic that excludes actually reading anything that is loosely related to our official documentation at www.os.university.

Just found out about this project, and I really like the idea! I was wondering if OS University will just be focusing on tech-related courses (like Bitdegree or LiveEDU have done) or is it going to incorporate a wider range of subjects? I am a social science academic, and would love to be involved in something like this in the future.

How is going on guys? I can see team's efforts and they are really dedicated to the project. But seems you guys have not strong marketing and there is not much exposure around or people not interested in your idea. From my point of view it is good and can become realy usefull. Will you still develop your platform even with low raised funds?

Everything is going really well after the first part of the pre-sale finished! Currently we are in touch only with private investors until the next phase begins. We are really doing our best to make it happen and I agree that our marketing has a lot more to do
We already have proven our global mission to be on the right way as there are a few other key players who are developing the same project but locally - what we do is a global project.
