Hi,
I really feel for you and hope everything will be fine eventually.

I support the idea of taking a good long break, fill your life with something healthy that has nothing to do with crypto or gambling. Be careful not to form another addiction.

Medication will help if it is the right one for you. I would recommend also meditation on daily basis. There are very good guided meditations in youtube, it helps with calming your mind, gaining balance, sleeping better and seeing the positive.

Someone once said: 'You either win or you learn' - please consider what you have to learn in this experience in your life and implement it so that you will be stronger in life in the future.

All the best!

Re: [ANN] ICO HotSheet

Been doing DD on ICO's for almost a year and it is now my full time job. Created an app to better manage ICO reviewing then the traditional spreadsheet. Now open to the public.

Currently 87 ICO reviews of upcoming ICO's.

Scoring is based on:
* idea: how original and groundbreaking is the idea
* team: do they know how to work together? do they have grit? domain experience?
* market: addressable size of market, competitive landscape, positioning
* traction: do they have an MVP or prototype? What about users?
* advisors: this also includes major investors such as YC, Sequoia, and big partnerships. Essentially how quickly will they be lifted into market.
* tokenomics: weighted decision based on ico market cap, ico price, organic growth vs shilling investors
* type: bonus points goes to infrastructure, currency, or new blockchain projects.

The scores lead to the following rank system similar to university ranks
High Distinction >=85
Distinction >= 75
Credit >= 65
Pass >= 50

Would be very interested on thoughts and if you like it.

Hi, how to get our ICO reviewed in your sheet?

You can email me at taru(at)inbot.io Many thanks!

Dear, I'm just a newbie here. I want to know if my membership improves, doest it still take 9m to write a new comment after a previous one?

No, it doesn't. When you get to Jr. Member there is no restriction anymore.

The time restriction is there to prevent people from spamming trying to get to the next level. Instead people have more time to consider their next post which makes the content much higher in quality.

Hi and welcome!

You are in the right place to start getting to know cryptos. It might seem like a huge black hole where you don't even know what you are looking for. I will try to simplify it to you.

1. Read the rules
2. Learn the terminology
3. Think about your own objectives, what is it you want to do
 - earn
 - invest
 - just widen your general knowledge
4. Depending on the previous you can find information
 - Earning: Find information about airdrops and bounties in different projects
 - Investing: Find information about legit projects that have good prospects. Please note a few things about investing:  Never invest more than you are willing to lose. Always make the decision self. If someone pushes you to invest back off, they usually are scammers because legit projects have respect towards people.
- Just widening your general knowledge: Start by understanding blockchain, crypto, exchanges etc.

Good luck to you with which ever path you decide to take!

Honestly, this guide will lead you nowhere.

Except for the read the rules here, which is the most important thing to do. The rest is just a waste of time.

The first thing to do @OP is to invest and I think you already have an idea what I'm talking about there's nothing free here anymore(aka. airdrops). And everything will just follow, you'll learn through time.

Wow! This is an advice I would not like to receive if I was a newbie. Except if I would like to lose my money! Surely one can invest in how many projects one likes but is it wise?

People are different, they have different objectives and different financial situations -  not taking this into account and just giving a random advice of 'Invest' is irresponsible.

All the best to you @HorribleGuy01

Hi,
try to provide as much information of the transaction here without any personal details. This way we are able to explain to you what exactly has happened. I'm sure there is a logical explanation to it.

It is possible that you have lost some money now but luckily it wasn't a bigger sum we are talking about. So if nothing else you will learn from this incident which will hopefully save you a lot of money in the future.

As the pronoun says: 'You either win or you learn'

Let's hope it is the former in your case after all.

Very good advice already from many people. I would add to those:

- learn the terminology
- follow a couple of projects that have a good amount of followers in Telegram - you will learn a lot by comparing what they are doing similarly and differently
- start for example by participating in an airdrop, you will learn a lot and get a good insight into the project
- never invest more than what you are ready to lose

Good luck to you mate!

Re: How to known a Scam ICO
by

on 12/05/2018, 11:40:17 UTC
Adding to what people have already said:

- Always look signs like is there typos or false information on their website
- Ask the founders and devs to contact you in Linkedin --> this is very good because if they are not who they say they are they cannot do this!
- You can ask for a video call to confirm identity
- Buying in ICO or in exchange: If you believe in the project after all of your research you should check their private sale and pre-ICO, there is usually discount or bonus tokens for early adaptors. So it really pays off investing in early stage because you might get a really good deal!

Be safe and do your research   Smiley

Hi and welcome!

You are in the right place to start learning everything about cryptos. The basics about bitcointalk however is not earning, it's about helping and sharing relevant information. Earning comes along then eventually  Smiley

If you have the right attitude you will get far, this goes with everything in life.

First step is to read the rules of the forum. After that widen your knowledge of the subjects discussed and start helping Smiley

Good luck on your path!

Re: BEGINNERS GUIDE FOR AIRDROP and BOUNTY'S
by
INBOT
on 11/05/2018, 10:48:30 UTC
Hiya!

There are several projects in the market offering airdrop or bounty. This is because projects are in an early stage and they need members or traction to go forward. Another alternative for companies would be traditional marketing. So airdrops are basically marketing funds used to get attention - and it works nicely because it creates a win-win-situation  Smiley

There is no investment required for airdrops, if someone requires you to invest before you get your airdrop it is most likely a scam and I would recommend you to stay away from them. Anything that sounds too good to be true, usually isn't true. So be careful out there!

Airdrops are a good way to get to know the project, you might find a good one you want to invest later. Pay attention to the business logic, the culture and the people in the community - they will tell a lot about the future of the project.

Re: why so many currencies?
by
INBOT
on 11/05/2018, 10:31:08 UTC
There is a difference between coins and tokens. Many of the tokens are utility tokens that are meant to be used in a certain project.

Inbot (www.inbot.io) for example created InToken so that we are able to reward our community. We started off with fiat but soon realized that it is nearly impossible to manage 60k members in 161 countries in fiat.

So we now have our own currency that is equally fair to all of the community members and can be transferred to fiat or any other crypto after ICO. This also gives the community members the freedom to choose whether they want to hold InToken and follow the development of it or sell for something else.

There surely are many scam projects in the markets at the moment, so if you are planning to invest I would strongly recommend to do your research and maybe ask advice from someone you really trust.

The markets are down and now many people are in fact buying - sell high, buy low - the fundamentals of investing.

However, no one knows what the time will bring, in world economy or in cryptos.

It also depends on your own situation regarding investments. It is very easy to start crypto with for example airdrops, where you don't need to make financial commitment. In general one should not invest more than what they are ready to loose.

Crypto will gain bigger and bigger footstep all the time. So it is not only bitcoin. So it might be wise to consider other cryptos too.

There are many interesting altcoins on the market with high potential for growing due to solid businesses the coin in based on.

People who want to change the world and see good things happening will invest in them because they want to be part in these revolutionary businesses.

Our revolution in Inbot is an AI-powered platform for trusted introductions. Our global community of ambassadors help companies build trusted relationships with their customers, starting with a warm introduction to the right decision makers.

This is a tricky question and there is no one right answer.

Re: Do you think digital currency will ever replace paper money?
by
INBOT
on 29/03/2018, 19:21:44 UTC
Absolutely and that time is quite near too!

The whole money industry will change, and probably the current currencies that are valued by gold will disappear. Gold is very unethical and unecological material and people start to reject it sooner or later.

Currencies based on real value will replace gold and gold-related currencies.
