Xapo is not a scam wallet but they need ID proof to verify the user's details so that they aren't getting involved with illegal trades or fraudsters. It's different for blockchain while even coinbase has a verification process. JessieXapo seems legit and the same support agent replies to our Xapo support tickets as well.

Yes, I am an official Xapo Customer Support agent - the same one that responds to emails sent to support@xapo.com! I can assure everyone that I am not trying to steal anyone's information & I will never ask for it. All I want to do is let anyone that sees this forum and is stuck in manual review know that they have the option to DM me with just their registered email address (I'll never ask for more) so that I can make sure that your support ticket gets a response!

I also am not able to access my wallet till I provide them with my ID and Address proof. I submitted the documents and asked them to open my account. I just hope they let me access my account as I have 0.3 BTC in my wallet and need my funds asap.

Just FYI to all the people that think that I am not legit: this user sent me a PM and with that push, I was able to get back to check the documents, get back to her support ticket, and reactivate the account!

It's as easy as just sending me a PM so I can help all of you out. Thanks!

I can't believe that XAPO is actually scamming People on purpose.

I am using it for 1 month now with no Problem.

The reason why I like XAPO and why i don't believe it's a scam is that it funded by some of the biggest names in private equity (e.g. Fortress Investment). These guys earn millions per day and would never Support a Company that is scamming for a few Bitcoins. Just not worth the negative PR. I doubt all These big names involved in XAPO would Support any such corporate policy.

Yes, I can assure you all that Xapo is not a scam. I am the Head of Customer Support at Xapo and due to regulatory reasons, if users have reached some limits or we did not previously ask for their information and then they reach a certain limit, then we are needing to ask for ID verification. We apologize that this was not communicated to some beforehand and also I apologize that we have a backlog in getting to some cases. However, I am willing to help anyone out and will expedite their case!

Hello everyone,

my Xapo BTC Balance is from one day to another unavailable. It says "unable to Spend"
Left Balanve is 0.1 BTC - Can the Op please tell why this is happening? I really need my Xapo Card and really liked the Service so far. So why my Account got locked. Please let me now asap.

Anybody of you guys got the same Problem with the Xapo Service?

We no longer keep up with this thread, but anyone that is having a problem and has already contacted support@xapo.com can send me a DM here with their issue and their registered email address so I can make sure that you get properly taken care of - thanks!

my account 6 months old did this verification already in the beginning.

now 24hrs later still the same shit!!!!!

anyone else had problems like this

I done a withdraw request and its more then 3 days not action done by you can you give any information about this and when you are going to launch Card ?

I received a payment today (more than 3 hours ago). The transaction have 18 conf at blockchain but in my xapo account still proccessing. Xapo says 6 confs needed but after 18 my money still pending.

For me, I deposited some BTC today to fill up my faucet, but it's been already more than 4 hours, and nothing has gone through. I also have a bunch of pending transactions from June etc. Would love to know what's going on!

That being said, Xapo followed the suggestion and temporarily raises the number of necessary confirmations from 6 to 36, so transactions into Xapo will take a bit longer to fully confirm. We apologize about any inconvenience caused but it is necessary to increase the number of confirmations during this time to responsibly care for the security of our users wallets!

I have sent  a simple request to customer support on May 20th and again a reminder email 3 days after on May23th.

Until today, more than 2 weeks later, I still haven't received a single world or a sign of life from you ? Is this company dead ?

It's a simple request about account login. I am not able to receive confirmation sms or voice call to finish my account opening.

My issue is solved also. Thank you.

I see you are currently not accepting applications for xapo debit card. Any chance for a small favour to btctalk forum clients ? Smiley

We are about to have a public launch of the debit card, but if anyone is interested in joining our beta testing before the launch (and avoiding the $20 USD shipping and handling fee that will be charged when out of beta) then we ask that our users send a message to support@xapo.com once they have deposited at least .30 BTC in their account to show interest/willingness to use the Xapo Debit Card!

Hi ,im walking into this at the end sorry if you have already explained but is Xapo giving the card out yet?? I am a  full blooded American and have a account with you guys already including a app. Also is it tru that you guys finished the Faucet script or is that still in limbo???

Unfortunately, U.S. restrictions on the debit card are still causing us an issue to ship the cards to there, but we're working hard to make this happen! We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience about this, since we want to be able to use the cards in the U.S. just as much as our U.S. customers do! We will be updating everyone about the debit card and where it all stands soon as we will be coming out of beta testing very soon Smiley

Regarding the faucets, feel free to email that questions to support@xapo.com and we can have our one of our developers talk to you about the faucet script since they would know better about the progress!

What is the issue with mailing a Xapo debit card to a US address?

I live near the Canadian border, so couldn't I have one mailed to my Canadian friend and then go pick it up, and use it in the US?

I'm not quite sure of the logistics on that one because if you decide to actively use the card and want to increase the spending limits in the future, you'd need to go through a higher-level KYC process that shows proof of address to the address in which the card was shipped. I tell you what - email us at support@xapo.com and I'll have Anni, our Debit Card manager, answer your questions since she knows the process a bit better than I do Smiley
