Re: Have you given up on airdrop?
by
JoMarrah Iarim Dan
on 07/05/2021, 12:22:08 UTC
Airdrops have become pointless, airdrops of crypto projects have become saturated over time and participants get a few pieces of worthless tokens. What is more a discouragement from participating in airdrops is that the transaction fees for sending out the tokens to an exchange is often more than the value of the token itself

Yes I've been in that same conlcusion to airdrop around 2017-2018. I got really upset. After so many scam bounties, I noticed that I also participate in multiple scam airdrops. But since this year when I meet couple of persons in the group chat, they are providing airdrop links and they are sharing good income got from airdrops. Airdrop image is geeting good to me again. I am trying some airdrops they are sending but as of now, I am still waiting for the payment so I can't really say that airdrop is profitable again.

Re: Altcoin is good. It’s hard to persuade parents to invest in it.
by
JoMarrah Iarim Dan
on 07/05/2021, 11:13:13 UTC
Crypto is not popular in my homeland. People in my homeland love to invest stocks and bonds. And real estate is the most popular investment. Only few people invest in crypto. My dad loves to invest in stocks but he seldom has a positive net income from the stock market. It’s the fact that crypto is a better tool to earn money, especially for the Altcoin. Then., I try to persuade my dad to invest in Eth and BNB. They’re worth to invest. Take myself as a good example, I spent the weekly pocket money on my first Eth two years ago and earn more than 10X of money. It seems that Eth is still going up in the future. It’s a good investment during this economic recession period. I tried my very best to persuade my dad to buy Altcoin like Eth and BNB but he thought that crypto was very risky and unreliable at all. Investing in crypto is the best way to earn money in this economic recession. It means that my family loses the chance to become rich since my dad does not invest in crypto.
It’s hard to persuade those middle-aged people to invest in crypto. Do you think so?

I think if you really want to persuade your dad make him realized more why crypto is better than stocks. Make him impressed continuously at multiple times. But if it still does not work. I think it is definitely fine. Just make you and your family through you and your doings in crypto. On that case, you and your family don't miss the chance to become rich. Your dad is having a good days in stocks while you have yours in crypto. Still a perfect combination.

Re: Do you set stop loss for long term gem?
by
JoMarrah Iarim Dan
on 07/05/2021, 11:01:47 UTC
I want to ask for some long term hodler or altcoin gem hunter there.

Are you considering having a stop loss for every altcoin you bought for long term?

Like for example. You buy this coin x at $3 but the price dumped, and just like trading, do you still put stop loss or cut loss?
Like you will sell the coin once the price reach $1?

Before, I did not consider to stop my loss or to cut my loss. I knew that the coin I am holding is a promising coin since it is bitcoin and eth so I just have to trust and have patience. My igrnorance to check btc and eth price due to I am busy with my work also helps me to just keep my coins while its price is still low. I know this is not applicable to coins so maybe I used stop loss to other coins.

Re: It's nice to be back again on Bitcoin @50,000$

Hello all!

I want to share my cool experience about holding Bitcoin.

I become busy last year and decided to totally disconnected on crypto market or news to focus on my studies and extra job to earn despite pandemic last December 2021 when Bitcoin is on the early Bullish trend. It's really good to see now that my Bitcoin was already X2 the initial money that I earn on signature campaign here. I never though that Bitcoin price will go this far and I decided to take some profit although the current price is at correction.

Really happy to choose holding rather than convert it fiat by the time I decided to leave crypto.

I feel you. I am also happy that I hold my bitcoin rather than cutting my losses. It feels like I've done something right in crypto. When I took a break in crypto last 2018, I am so depressed that time because I missed the ATH. I also focused on my full-time job. But something bigger awaits me. I didn't see this rise coming this fast. Another thing that I did is a very good decision of mine is when I joined signature campaign last year during lockdown. I earned bitcoin weekly then I make this as an additional investment. Last year bitcoin price is not that hype so it feels like "buy low" but I really earned it. Now I can already sold it at its higher price.

Re: Is Scalping even viable in Cryptocurrencies?
by
JoMarrah Iarim Dan
on 06/05/2021, 14:05:53 UTC
Hello Everyone. I currently trade on Foreign Exchange Market and my preferred style is always "Scalping" which involves fast execution, and gaining advantage from short price changes. Thus, I highly rely on technical analysis rather than fundamental. I just want to know if scalping is practical in the crypto world.

I just discover scalping lately. I don't know but I like its way of earning in short term. Then I noticed one of my friend is doing this. I'm kinda curious so I asked him how does he make profit out of it. Then he said his target was 20% gain before going out the market. But there are times he holds the coin longer than he expected because of the unpredictable market. Stop loss is also not in his line. He sometimes earn, sometimes unexpected comes, sometimes lose. I guess the strategy itself is OK but requires much deeper analysis.

Re: Do you run when you fail or loose in a trade?
by
JoMarrah Iarim Dan
on 06/05/2021, 13:35:57 UTC
I met someone who spoke bitterly against cryptotrading, he spoke of how he had a fortune in his trading account that disappeared completely in one night, he spoke of how he fell into depression and sickness soon followed because of overthinking of how to pick up and get back up on his feet financially. Now he is a strong advocate against anything trading crypto, how sad and dissapointing.

I didn't run but I took a break. Before I enter trading, I know I will feel sad if I lose in trading but the thing is I just "knew" it. I didn't realized how does it feel or how to be on the situation after losing. I am very stricy when it comes to money. I follow my limits. I always budget my allowance that is why I got into depression the first time I lose my money. After all sleepless nights just to post on campaign, I earned tokens then trade it and I just lose all those efforts. I found a way to recover and that is by long term invest to bitcoin. I know I still didn't get back all of my losses but knowing that this time I've done something right, I'm relieved.

Re: [Boxing] Manny Pacquiao vs Mikey Garcia in Dubai on July 2021?
by
JoMarrah Iarim Dan
on 04/05/2021, 08:52:56 UTC
Pacquiao is known for this even if he has a busy schedule still he find a way to his heavy preparation on his fights we already see him became busy especially on election day and he surprise us with his fancy moves and flashy speed, Maybe we can say the time is not on pacquaio by this time but remember his still have solid punch and good posture to fight those young boys in the ring so if this fight will happen maybe we should watch what pacquaio can do since I'm sure he want to prove to the world that he's strong despite of his age.

I thought Pacquaio will not fight on the ring anymore. I thought he will just focus in serving his country by being a senator or president in the next years to come. He already made a good career in boxing and I know I am a solid fan. Maybe he want to prove something more? I dont know but I am just thinking about his health since lot of boxers suffer from different kind of health conditions years after they stop fighting. Anyway I am still betting on the peoples' champ. I think it is also a good event during this pandemic season but of course I hope health protocols must be strictly followed because the health of the boxers are important.

Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings?
by
JoMarrah Iarim Dan
on 04/05/2021, 08:36:14 UTC
I see a lot of signature wearers discussing gambling quite frequently in this section of the board. I’m curious, what do you do with your signature campaign earnings? Do you support your advertiser and gamble it on their platform, save it, or spend it? I assume most people probably gamble it, and that’s why signature campaigns are able to be so generous, but maybe some users are taking advantage of the funds to help support themselves or even give back to charities or organizations they enjoy. If you have a good use for your earned signature campaign earnings, share it here, or even if you have a not so good use. Smiley

I once support the gambling that I advertise but I am not good at gambling. I often lose than win. I realized I can't enjoy it. With that, I decided to just save my earnings not only from bounty gambling's but also in other campaigns that I am participating. My focus now is more on investing in bitcoin. The quick pumped this year made me earn from my investment before so I was really inspired and happy. Due to that I am thinking that it may happen again so as early as now I have to keep saving bitcoin as well other promising coins.

Re: what you worst experience on crypto
by
JoMarrah Iarim Dan
on 04/05/2021, 08:20:35 UTC
I earned a good amount then I decided to bought a coin 4 years ago. The coin seems to be promising. From a very low price it reached $60 each. It's price goes down then I bought 60 coins. After that, I used it in staking. I set to monthly instead of weekly so there will be no hassle for me to set it every week and on my computation, monthly has a higher profit. I noticed that its price is going down little by little but I ignored it because I believe on that coin. But after 3 years I cannot open the site anymore. It feels so sad that I the good amount I earned turns into nothing. It also become useless to me. I regret that decision I made. How I wish I can turn back time to undo that decision.

Re: Prices are low, time to buy some good coin!!
by
JoMarrah Iarim Dan
on 04/05/2021, 08:05:50 UTC
I talked to my friend a week and few days ago wherein the market was red. I am telling him to buy because the prices are low already but he answered no. I was kinda surprised because if I have money I will probably buy some good coins. He's reason why he will not yet buy is because the market is still bearish. I come up to a conclusion that he is trying to point out not yet buy because if I buy the price will still go down so I must need to wait for the support (support and resistance). Well that is the problem with me. I do not know where exactly to buy and exit the market.
For the coin, I would like to buy ETH or BNB because I know it is good coin.

Re: Gifting my little sister with Ethereum for her birthday
by
JoMarrah Iarim Dan
on 23/04/2021, 07:01:46 UTC
Her birthday was just a few days ago, and I was thinking in doing something different. She already knows that I am into cryptocurrency for a long while, and she was also exploring it recently. I was asking her if she would like some Ethereum as a gift for her birthday, and she never hesitated to say yes! However, she didn't expect the amount that I've sent her.

She was expecting way less, but I sent her $100 worth of Ethereum (+$6 in gas fees) and she was all smiles thanking me for it. For me, it's such a great feeling to give her something like that, as I love her very much.

I hope I find my cheezcarls that will provide me worth $100 ETH. Kidding. I am sure your sister is very happy with her birthday present. It is worth it not only on the moment that you gave it to her but also on the long run since ETH is a very good coin. ETH is also better than any other material things. I am sure that you can also guide her well so that she can make that ETH grow more. Well, happy to hear that you support her on what she likes. I am an only child so I have no brother or sister to turn to.

Re: Why are you still hodling that shitcoin?
by
JoMarrah Iarim Dan
on 23/04/2021, 06:21:10 UTC
There are some tokens in my ethereum wallet that have lost value to the extent I don't think they can ever recover even if the bull market starts tomorrow due to the level of competition in the altcoin market. I also bought some coins but can't remember the password or name of exchange i bought them on (thinking it was cryptopia) I didn't bother transferring it off the exchange and most of them were bought around 1satoshi.

Back to my ethereum wallet, each time I see those worthless token I just laugh and continue with what I login my wallet to do. If you ask me why I'm still holding does tokens in my wallet I can't give a reply. Why are you still holding those shitcoins sorry altcoin

Because holding is the only thing we can to those worthless coins. We can't transfer it due to fee is higher than it value. We can't transfer it due to some are not listed to exchanger. Seeing lot of coins in your wallet is quite amazing but checking its value is non sense. I also have lot of coins earned from airdrops before which is good for nothing. I think that was 2017 to 2018 wherein during that time it is already worthless and up to now it is much more worthless. I'm not sure if it will become worthy someday, so I guess I will just leave it there forever.

Re: Is it possible to double capital in 2 months?
by

on 22/04/2021, 15:01:50 UTC
I've been in trouble and now I have a lot of debt
Can I double my capital in two months because if I do not pay I will die or be imprisoned
Please help me I think I am a professional but I am nervous now I can not trade well  Huh

Yes I think it it possible to double your capital in two months like for example you buy bitcoin on December 14 last year wherein BTC price is around $19K then February 19 this year BTC price reached $55K. As I also remember there traders here that shares how they made their profit that easy in a short period of time. Sounds easy but yes still risky. Well on that part I think your experience as a trader will matters the most. In addition, we all know that when it comes to trading we must not be control by our emotions because it affect the way we think that may lead to wrong decisions. Maybe we have keep our learning process in trading so we know what to do next and more experience even using a small capital.

Re: Does that mean trading is more popular than social media now?
by
JoMarrah Iarim Dan
on 22/04/2021, 09:50:41 UTC
Two trading apps have risen to the top of Apple's App Store in recent days. Robinhood holds the number one position, with Coinbase in second, at the time of publication on Friday. In third: popular social media platform TikTok. YouTube, Instagram and Snapchat hold the fourth, fifth and sixth positions, respectively.

One possible conclusion is that folks are now more interested in swapping crypto and financial assets than they are in interacting on various social media platforms

https://cointelegraph.com/news/trading-apps-usurp-tiktok-in-popularity

Clearly crypto is off with a flying start, and topping the charts will prompt others to check what these apps are all about, meaning sooner or later more people will be jumping on this boat!

I can't directly answer yes because I have no concrete basis but based on my facebook friends as well as officemates, trading becomes popular especially when bitcoin quickly rise its price this year. I have seen facebook post of different price chart and their earnings as well facebook my day stories which is sometimes videos that uses coins.ph mobile app or uses desktop for different trading platforms like binance. Another one is my officemate, I asked him what is he doing he replied "Crypto Crypto" then I asked him more and I discovered he is doing a day trading. Like when he buys BNB at $512, he claim his profit immediately when its price rises to $514. Those are the people who are around me. I am not sure about the others.

on 22/04/2021, 09:18:29 UTC
That was five years ago when someone introduced bitcoin to me but that was four years ago when I start to involved myself in crypto things. I remember, I am so happy the first time I earned bitcoin. It felt like I am kinda rich or something that I achieved it. At year 2017, I also thought bitcoin price is already high and I can't imagine that after a couple of years it will more higher. If only I bought at least 1 bitcoin five or four years ago then hold it, I am surely a millionaire as of the moment. Well it feels like no one expected this to come and we all learned our lesson. Bitcoin is a very good coin and it is worth holding for a long time.

Re: Other Bitcoin wallet that converts Bitcoin to PHP?

on 21/04/2021, 13:53:54 UTC
Good day mga boss. Maraming salamat. Sobrang sensitive kasi ng coins.ph. I have a level 3 account tapos nagcashout lang ako ng medyo malaking halaga and then they are requesting a videocall I guess which is sobrang hassle kasi napakabagal po ng signal ng globe dito sa probinsya namin.

by
JoMarrah Iarim Dan
on 21/04/2021, 13:21:39 UTC

by
JoMarrah Iarim Dan
on 21/04/2021, 12:40:56 UTC
Nabasa ko ang isang article na ito from Cointelegraph na tungkol sa bitcoin being a necessity sa ating bansa.
https://cointelegraph.com/magazine/2021/01/29/crypto-in-the-philippines-necessity-is-the-mother-of-adoption

Medyo napaisip ako sa unang part nito saying that Philippines is one of the most active countries in Asia. Hindi sa nagda-doubt ako about it but because I am not feeling that activeness in our country.

Nagcacashout ako in some of these outlets or remittance centers pero wala silang idea about it. They knew coins.ph but they are not familiar with cryptocurrencies.

O ang mga tao ay naghahanap lang ng efficient or safe ways, considering that we are still have the pandemic, to transact their money using these mobile apps or exchanges?

Re: How to make money from Bitcoin in 2021
by
JoMarrah Iarim Dan
on 21/04/2021, 10:31:51 UTC
Most people who are new to BTC or find a way to accumulate BTC this might help you out; few ways to make money from BTC:

*Daily trading
*BTC mining
*Investing
*Selling your items in exchange for BTC; i.e(receiving BTC as payment for work or items sold)
*Yield farming (De-fi)
*Airdrops (this helps allot but be aware of fake ones too before participating)
*BTC surveys

We do have different ways or earning bitcoin depending on where we are good at. In my case I receive BTC as payment for work which is posting or simply as a bounty hunter. I tried investing before but it didn't work for me as well as trading. I lose a lot in trading although I am trying it again with an amount I can afford to lose and to coins that I know I can hold for a long time. Airdrops? I am not really sure about this due to lot of scams before but I'm trying to get back my trust on airdrops. I just made myself more careful to airdrops that I am going to participate.

Re: How Bitcoin almost made me rich
by
JoMarrah Iarim Dan
on 19/04/2021, 13:07:08 UTC
Based on my little experience in the currency market four years ago, then I was still in the university then trying to make pocket money from little of my trading ideas. You know buying  a particular currency pairs at the bottom while selling at the top with few of my trading strategies like the Bollinger bands, RSI and and the moving averages.

I decided to invest in Bitcoin with the help of my new friends who are into Bitcoin trading and investments. Although at that time I didn't have substantial knowledge on how bitcoin works so, I decided to invest all my hard earn money to the extent I sold my most precious treasure which is my classical Guitar that I always use for my musical classes. Then my dream was to keep my Bitcoin for at least 1 years for it to appreciate more before selling it so I could be as rich compared to my local government chair lol. My dream!

I was working then so I decided to apply for mini jobs so as to get extra money to buy more bitcoins cause I wasn't getting enough from my currency trading. I was able to acquire 2.25 Bitcoin worth $18,000. As at 2017 one bitcoin worth about $8,000. Then the only popular crypto wallet in my region was Blockchain, so i was using it to store my Bitcoin. After a while I venture into Bitcoin investments. Never new they're all Ponzi scheme...I lost half of my Bitcoin to Ponzi scheme cos I was a novice to the cryto world.

I almost go mad when I realized that my dream of become a big boy is almost shattered. I was pain in which I couldn't think straight losing more than $9,000 worth of bitcoin. I lost focus, I couldn't continue my musical training cause my classical guitar, my enthusiasm is almost gone. I decided to dump everything about crypto currency giving it a break. I also deleted my Blockchain wallet from my phone.

Last year during the early stage of convid 19, I could remember that I had bitcoin somewhere so, I went in search of it. I reinstalled my Blockchain wallet but I couldn't logged in cos it's was asking me of my private keys. I've searched every corners, books, dairies but still couldn't find my private keys.
At least I should have not less than 1.1 bitcoin in my wallet which could worth more than $70,000. Converting this money to my country currency makes me a millionaire.

This is how my dream of becoming a millionaire was shattered by my ignorance...pls is their a narrow escape to my misfutune?

I also regret the things I've done last 2017. Early 2017, I started at this forum. At junior rank, I started to join bounty campaigns since earning at campaigns is very good during that time I admit I earned big amount at low rank and as my rank advance the better the earning. But I did not manage well the earning I get. I buy shit coin. I spend most of my earning to less important things. Time flies so fast I did not manage to save money until BTC price keeps going down and seems that it can't recover from its loses.  Then time comes I needed to save my thesis, I have no other other choice but to used some of my bitcoins again. Even though it is hard for me to sell BTC because the price is still low, I eat my pride and sold almost all of it. I promised myself that the few amount of bitcoin in my wallet that remains in my wallet will be there until BTC price recover and yes it happened this year.
