Re: [POLL] HEAVYWEIGHT BOXING: USYK vs PARKER
by
Justbillywitt
on 25/07/2025, 16:53:51 UTC

We can't be too sure about this till the fight happens only then can we find out if Joseph parker can beat Usyk or not. Am a big supporter of Usyk, but I also understand that Usyk cannot be champion forever. At some point he's going to lose unless he retire before then. Joseph parker has been winning his recent matches same as Usyk so you can't completely write off Parker. Parker is also showing some similarities that Usyk was showing back then when he was rising to stardom. Usyk Vs Parker would have been more interesting than what we saw against Dubios.

I voted for Usyk to beat Parker. We've seen Usyk's speed against Dubois and so even if in paper it looks like Parker might have a good chance, it might be another easy fight for Usyk here. And if he beat's Parker, then he swept this division for good. Parker's previous opponent doesn't have the boxing IQ of Usyk. They all have the mentality to brawl and uses their power but Parker is too smart with that. However, with Usyk style of a southpaw and being slick, it's going to be very hard for Parker to just play defense early and then wait for his opponent to get's tired. And so if he goes early and fight toe to toe with Usyk, he might end up like Dubois and gets knockout by Usyk.
Like I said before, am a big supporter of Usyk and I love everything he represents, his style of fighting and what he has accomplished so far in this industry. But what am just saying is that Parker shouldn't be written off until he gets the opportunity to show us what he got. I remember when Anthony Joshua was so hot and he was winning almost everything that came his way. When the chance of him fighting Usyk came, lots of people wrote off Usyk, he was considered underdog but at the end of the day, Usyk defeated him and since then he has been conquering everyone from then till this day. What if something like this happens with parker? Or don't you think that Usyk will lose a fight some day? As long as it is a competitive match I won't write anyone off, they both have the chances of winning, and if this fight is to happen, and with what Parker is doing, I will stay neutral.

Considering how outstanding Alexander Isak has been, I will really would love to see him play in a top-notch club, the youngster has the ability to improve over time and it will be a delight to watch him play among top players that will contribute to his improvement. As Newcastle united stands now, he is there talisman, letting him go is what I cannot envisage at that moment but Liverpool will seriously be breaking the Bank to buy him considering how much they've just spent in buying Ekitike.
Liverpool can still break the balcony for him, realised they haven't been spending for some recent seasons in comparison with other top teams their recent transfer records are nothing and not that they were being held by any restrictions.

Now they can strengthen their squad way more for a long term but the fee requested by Newcastle is really huge and I think this is because of the amount they spent on Florian Wirtz and Ekitike.
Of course if you can spend that amount of money in getting Florian Wirtz and Ekitike, you should be ready to spend much more higher when you are going to price away one of premier league most prolific strikers. Newcastle are really holding out not to sell him, but it's really a big temptation for them. With that amount of money I think they will be force to sell. Liverpool shouldn't have gone for Ekitike as I don't see the possibility of them spending such an amount on Ekitike and still spend that much in signing Isak. They should have focused all their energy and resources in getting Isak. But if Liverpool gets Isak in addition to Ekitike, they will be unstoppable next season.

I am not familiar with Joseph Parker, but it looks like he did great in his last three fights. But despite that, I don't think he'll be able to beat Usyk. In Usyk's rematch with Dubois this July 19, he showed how dominant he can be in his fight. I have no doubt Usyk will outbox Joseph if they fought.

We can't be too sure about this till the fight happens only then can we find out if Joseph parker can beat Usyk or not. As long as there is still a chance that you are capable of losing that bet we can still call it gambling. The event is not 100% certified that you will win it, so even at 99.9%  chances that you are doing to win it is still gambling. I don't know about other sports, but in football, there many times that football matches that your analysis might have shown you that a certain club will win, but at the end of the day the match won't end as expected. The team that nobody thought could win ends up winning.

What a good player Arsenal has gotten. This is someone who has been the missing piece, Arsenal fans believed that it was a striker that has been depriving them the league, especially last season. Now let's see if they were right all along or if their club isn't as good as they all thought it to be

viktor Gyökeres is a a very good striker and it's a very good decision that Arsenal have made to sign him to the team it will help them to reduce the struggle to score goals when they are dominating in a game because they now have a good striker.  Arsenal fans are right if they pointed out that a striker made them to lose the league last season but now they have a striker I hope they don't have goal keeper issues or defense issues next season because fans are tired of them and their issues of finding it difficult to win the league when they are doing well in a season.
Is not as if they are just going to pick the titles now that Viktor Gyökeres has joined their team. The possibilities of other challenges coming up in their team is still very high, because as they are recruiting, other teams are also recruiting very actively. Look at a team like Liverpool who has smashed lots of money on players. Look at Manchester city, Chelsea these clubs are recruiting actively. So Arsenal fans should have it in mind that Viktor Gyökeres has only come to do the role of a striker. The team has to play well in all areas to stand a chance of winning titles. Viktor Gyökeres alone won't give them the trophy they are desperately looking for. So this is the time for them to get whoever they know can help them. Be it in defence, midfield or goalkeeper.

Re: Is There No Good Side Of Gambling?
by
Justbillywitt
on 24/07/2025, 15:15:27 UTC

This made me to come up with this post to ask this important question; Is gambling really that bad? Are there no good effects of gambling on people? Gambling can't just be all bad all the time. Well if you think it's all bad, why are you still gambling?
The reason why a lot of people post bad the gambling is because everything about the gambling has bad side so it good as people are stated the bad side out them talking about good about the gambling. For example is people begin talking good about gambling, and people begin to rush into it the end will not be funny for them, and who do we expecting they will starting blame is those that’s are been saying good side about them.
So in essence what you are trying to say is that people are mostly talking about the negatives of gambling so they will discourage other people from coming into gambling? To me that doesn't really make any sense because you ain't really forcing anyone to gamble. Everyone who's into gambling today is doing it on their own will. That's why gambling is only available to adults, people who can make decisions on their own. Okay since the bad publicities about gambling has been going on over the ages, has it made gambling to reduce? New casinos and betting shops keeps coming up yearly. So wether we say bad or good about gambling, people keep coming into gambling.

Quote
I agree that people are earned from the gambling, since some even taking it like there office they earn time to time, but that doesn’t mean we can encourage everyone to join the gambling; after knowing the risks that is involved and not all everybody can afford to lose sum of money in gambling as some are very emotionally.
Nobody is encouraging anyone to join gambling. I still repeat people join gambling out of their own free will. Besides almost everything we do in this life involves risks. But why is it that people makes it look like it's only in gambling that risks exists. We glorify the risks in gambling as if we don't have a choice to make in it. The casino's won't dip their hands in your account and take money from you. Whatever money we lost to the casino's is entirely our choice. If you can't lose big money, then don't gamble with big money. It's very simple. People lose big money because of their greed. And how is that individual greediness the fault of gambling or the casinos?

Have you heard about the legend Fabrizio Romano? This Man doesn't lie when it comes to football and players transfers. So far as Fabrizio Romano has reported that this club has signed certain player, just believe it to be true. The reason why Arsenal haven't announced it yet is because the player have to pass his medicals and sign all necessary documents before he can be confirmed by the club. Viktor Gyökeres transfer to Arsenal has passed the stage of "here we go" so technically he is already an Arsenal player and I believe the club will announce him in the next few days.

I know that Fabrizio has announced that Gyokeres deal is done. But he had sometimes made mistakes of announcing that a player had arrived to a club on medical and later that day another
club steal a player right in front of their nose. Im a little sceptic I might say about it because Im a Arsenal fan so I would like the transfer to be over ASAP and see a video on Arsenal News  Smiley.
How many time has something like this happened with Fabrizio's news? If something happened once in 5 years or more, we can't question the integrity of the Man. So to me he's still accurate with his news. And in this case Viktor Gyökeres made it clear to Manchester United that wanted to snatch him in the late hour that he only wanted Arsenal and Fabrizio said it's a done deal, so you Arsenal fans should chill your Viktor Gyökeres is already in the bag for your club. There's no need for you guys to panic nobody is hijacking this deal at this stage.

Re: UEFA Europa League 2025/26 Season
by
Justbillywitt
on 24/07/2025, 12:32:08 UTC

I also thought as much over several year now Tottenham has been playing in the Europa League and without winning is it that the problem is from coach or players. Because it has reach that they suppose have doing something better by now, since the last time they won their only playing every season and at the end of day they will end up of losing.
The problem is from the coaches that they had over the years and their management. But in this case I will stress more on the coach. Why I said is the coach is that it's been same similar crop of players that Tottenham Hotspur has had over the past 5 years and nothing happened. But when Postcogulu came in, he let everyone know that he usually win something in his second year in his club. He built that mentality in his players and they delivered something in his second year. So if the previous coaches had set a standard that they wanted to win something, they would have won.

Yeah they dominated in all positions, as I said they looked like they where playing against Qarabag not Milan. Also they are filled nicely on every position now that Madueke and Nørgaard had arrived.
Regarding Gyokeres I did not see any official announcement in Arsenal News and Im not still sure if this is a done deal. The saga about Gyokeres is now going from the first day of July.
Do any of you have something solid about the transfer.

🚨 Arsenal are currently considering adding another attacking player AFTER the signing of Viktor Gyökeres.

Eberechi Eze and Xavi Simons are among the options.

✍️ Fabrizio Romano

Seems like Arteta has gotten the message to get good players to strengthen the squad and that's what he is doing and in a better fashion...I hope this deal to get any of these players doesn't last like that of Viktor Gyökeres...Between these two players who's next to join Viktor Gyökeres?  And who is better to be at the squad?
~~~
Premier League experience these days doesn't tell if a player can do well or not, let's take a good look at Isak how he became one of the finest striker in the EPL, even on his first season we saw how he performed by helping Newcastle to be one of the teams that causes problems for the top teams in the EPL. From what I have seen from both players, talking about Xaxi Simons and Eze, I feel Eze would be a good match for the Arsenal squad. He can be the next option for either Odegaard or Saka since these two guys doesn't have a better replacement. After Arsenal released him at the age of thirteen till now I feel going back home would be a great addition to the squad now that he's much better and has improved than they saw him back then.
I understand what you are saying, but there are also instances where players comes to the league and struggles to fit in. Some do fits in eventually but it does take time, while some fits in immediately. I said  because, if I was the one making the decision on who to buy between these guys, this's one major criteria I will look into in my decision making. Eberechi Eze is already living in London. He's fully settled there with his family. He has been a top performer for Crystal palace over the years. To me he's the one I will go for. That doesn't mean Xavi Simons is not a good option. He is, but on my own considerations Eze is best for me, and I want him to play for Arsenal.
Rashfrod is officially a player for Barcelona.
Am so happy for Rashford that finally he's going to have a full season again to play football in a club of his dream. After missing almost the entire the first half of last season on the bench before his loan spell at Aston villa in the second half of the season.
Sancho is out from the preseason with Manchester.
This was already known from the beginning that Amorim won't include him in his plan for Manchester United team, so it's best that he should find a new club for himself.
If crystal palace will agree to sell Eberechi Eze to Arsenal, I will prefer him over Xavi Simons to join Arsenal, because of his premier league experience. Arsenal can't afford to have two of their new forwards players to be players that are entirely lacking premier league experience. It's will do them good since they have gotten Viktor Gyökeres that's going to play in the premier League for the first time, to add a player that has been in the league for years and Eberechi Eze fits that criteria and he's a goal scorer as well. So they should go for him over Xavi Simons
I honestly believe it is a coincidence that both incidents happened at same time. These things happen, it is hard for me to believe that Arsenal would frame a player just because he refused to extend his contract with the club. There is no history of the club having done something like this in the past, I don’t think they will start now.
Nah, I'm not actually suggesting that his was framed by Arsenal or Arsenal raised the matter again because he refused to renew after his demands were not met. I think as an Arsenal player that he was, Arsenal didn't want anything that will distract him playing like all these court cases and the rest, so they simply suppressed the case so it doesn't come out in the open like it would have been but now that his no longer an Arsenal player, the club has removed it's hands from the case that's why it out now again.
Arsenal didn't have any hand in that case as many believed they did. The investigation was ongoing and like every other accused persons, you are innocent until proven guilty by a court. Arsenal had a choice of suspending the player or allowing him to continue doing his job. Why will you suspend an innocent Man who hasn't been found guilty?
So for me Arsenal made the best decision by not suspending him. If they had and they player was eventually found innocent at the end of the day, he would have sued the club and it would have cost them millions of pounds. I believed they learned from what happened between Manchester city and Benjamin Mendy. Were Mendy was found not guilty by the court after City suspended him and weren't paying him wages. After the court case, he sued the club and won them in court and big money was paid to him as compensation.
How religious the country is will also determine their gambling habits. It doesn't matter how wealthy the people over there are or how vibrant their economy is, if the country has more religious population their gambling activities will be extremely low compared with countries that doesn't care much about religion. So this should also be put into consideration when deciding why some countries gambles more than others.
True, he agrees to cut his wage from 300k weekly to the 80k weekly. I was surprised he did it just to join in Barcelona. He decreased his wage for almost 80%. That's crazy he did everything wear Barcelona's shirt. It gives me vibes he doesn't care to the MU.
I am not surprised that Marcus Rashford accepted a pay cut to move to Barcelona this season, but I am surprised that he will be receiving £80k per week at Barcelona. It is not that Marcus Rashford doesn't care about Manchester United, but the problem is that Ruben Amorim didn't include Marcus Rashford in his plan, so Marcus Rashford has to accept a cut that's as low as £80k per week just to play football where he will be happy and valued.
If I was in Marcus Rashford shoe I will do the same to revive my  dying career. Come on this dude has money already, but his career seems to be dying gradually, for a player who should be at the peak of his career at his current age. We all know that Marcus Rashford has a special talent and once he is in an environment where football and winning are taken serious, he will reinvent himself. And once he is reinvented and get back to his form that we all knew Rashford to be, his wage will definitely increase, if Barcelona decide to sign him from next season. Take a pay cut for just one season and revive your career is the ultimate sacrifice that a player has to do. Am really proud of Rashford for taking this decision.
There's also a clause preventing Osimhen from being sold to Italian clubs for two years. Osimhen won't be able to play against Napoli. Of course, there's no such clause. The transfer wasn't fully finalized until the signings were made, but it was breaking news. It was a major payment for Galatasaray.
So, even though the debt wasn't fully paid upfront, Osimhen still has a hefty payment to make. I hope this money helps Galatasaray achieve its desired success in Europe.
Most of the big transfers that happens in the market, the full payments don't happen at once. Some are  spread for reasonable number of years. Some take like 2 to 5 years to finish the payments. But it seems Galatasary will finish the payment next year, as they have paid more than half of the money. Which is one reason why I think Napoli were being more interested in selling to the Saudi club as they werr willing to make outright payment without owing except add on which would have come from performances. I don't have any concern about Osimhen, as am sure he will repay Galatasary of this money with his performances on the pitch. It's a good signing for them.
I doubt that honestly.  Tongue  Raphinha is in his best form these days. Why would Hansi Flick decide to cut him from the starting lineup to "rest"?
It doesn't make sense while he is one of top goal contributors. Rashford will need to earn his place there. He will need to work hard to stay fit and impress the manager. I can't say he has been in his best physical shape recently.
Let's not forget that Rashford can also play as No 9 sometimes. Besides there are many games to play and Raphinha can't play all the time let's be realistic with ourselves. And also to avoid overdependence in one particular player, Barcelona had to bring Rashford in. We have to be applauding Barcelona for have two good players in one position. How many clubs in the world can of having two quality players in LW? The world cup is coming up next summer and every player wants to be fit and available. If Raphinha plays all their games next season, he risk having long term injury.
