Clearly you fell for it, because I knew that the decision is a planned game to slow down the market, they have the desire but intentionally they fud bitcoin, it was a big mind game they played and it worked.

Am I the only one seeing the war issue that was solved as another big game too? If such doesn't happen how will Bitcoin lose value? How will panic effect goes into the market? The lies have to look real.

All I am saying is these big players knows best, like I believe that Trump intentionally told China's president to fud the market too with those tariff percentage, they played game and it looked real.

Re: AI for sports prediction.
by
KiaKia
on 13/07/2025, 11:31:31 UTC
You are right about AI and sports predictions while AI is great at looking at numbers and past trends it struggles to correctly predict sports especially football because games are so unpredictable. AI can show you stats and team forms but it mostly misses key human factors and last minute changes that really affect match like main player getting injured team mood changing or bad referee call which AI can not truly understand.

This is why if you know sport well you will likely win more bets than you lose as knowledgeable person can consider things like player usual impact or team spirit which AI can not easily put into its calculations proving that human understanding still has edge in predicting sports outcomes.

You are right but still, those who know sports very well still lose money to gambling, there are many of them that went broke due to this same fact that they know about sport very well, the chances of winning isn't that high as we think because those who know about sport are more into sport bets than those who knows too less about sport.

Gambling is so much risky than just thinking that you can do so well because you know sport very well, it doesn't safe you from losing money to gamble because you can't still control your luck.

In fact it doesn't help a lot of people, know everything that's needed to be known about sport, you will still lag behind if you will get lucky or not, if its very easy many sport fans would have good stories to share, but its the other way around.

This days you will easily find people doing illegal mining, they take stupid risks for stupid returns, like for what? Spent alot of money of Asic miners only to get them seized by the authorities.

I have nothing against your plan OP, and that's if you are mining legally, don't even think about it because you will be caught sooner or later, you might then never make your money back again.

It's also best for you to start with small miners first, don't buy 10 miners as a beginner when you haven't even handle one or two, I have my reasons for saying this, you can find it hard to manage at the end of the day.

Re: I did a last resort resolve of gambling addiction.
by
KiaKia
on 13/07/2025, 06:41:36 UTC
Well lately I have been falling back to gambling addiction and it looks like I can't stop no matter how hard I try. The problem is that I only love to play 90% of the times from my Linux machine in my home as I love to play from the comfort of my home and was thinking what to do to block these websites of the casinos I play and resorted to REJECTING traffic from the iptables command in the firewall of my Ubuntu machine, well it worked like a charm and I don't intend to delete these rules ever. In fact I have already forgotten the rules though and I don't intend to check back. I intend to keep my promise to myself to stop gambling altogether and I will totally achieve it because I am very decisive about it. No one can stop me now, it was that going from 20 to 800 dollars and losing it all that made me do this. In case anyone is in my same shoes here are the rules to REJECT traffic, also there is needed both INPUT and OUTPUT.

That's a good move OP, can this work on windows PC too? I did something similar for my cousin way back, I had to move his laptop with me to make him stop, it did work for a while but he needed his laptop so I have no choice than to return it to him, if it work on windows too it will be cool.

Accepting that you are addicted and also restricting yourself is the most hardest part of fighting gambling addiction, you did it, you are fully awaken and prepared to solve the problem, many know how but they can't make a move.

When this is over do not let go of this disciplinary procedure, apply it to your gambling is some day you ever feel like coming back, if you can do this you can stick with what you can afford to lose.

on 12/07/2025, 16:00:56 UTC
Bitcoin is a good way of promoting your business.there are no delay during payments, onlike are local banks that go on Holidays, Bitcoin doesn't go on holidays. The are  available 24/7. Let's all make good use of Bitcoin in our business. Bitcoin transactions can cost just fractions of a cent and it's really good for international payments.

No it's not, many merchants are not accepting bitcoin around the world, its only a handful of business that's accepting Bitcoin and countries varies, the only way business men can take advantage of Bitcoin is easy DCA.

Its not as if your business will boom even more because you are accepting Bitcoin as your means of payment, many have tried and it doesn't help much because people around the world prefers to hold their Bitcoin rather than spending it.

Having a business and making money will earn you more bitcoin, you will be able to DCA better with convenience, bit if using Bitcoin as money is what you meant then know that bitcoin serves more as store of value than using bitcoin as money.

Re: The Role of AI in Gambling
by
KiaKia
on 12/07/2025, 14:17:38 UTC
AI respond to what the user wants, provably fair still depends on the casino itself, just because its AI we talking about doesn't mean it can't be bent to your will, if you want it to cheat for you it will cheat.

Rather focus on finding a reputable online casinos to gamble instead of looking for a AI implemented casino, the difference won't be much and its not that helpful for gamblers either.

Forget it, AI is far more useful for casinos and businesses than their customers, and don't think you can use AI to win some game or bend casinos luck to your will, its impossible.

It depends on your situation, I started earning online without any money and I favoured me, its pure procrastination if you have to wait for money to come first before you start anything.

Even if what you want to learn needs money to function it won't hurt to keep learning same thing every day, like someone used to tell me, if you keep reading what you have read many times before you will get clearer understanding.

Here is my final answer, you need both money and the skill but if you don't have money it is not the end, you can still find your way around making money in various ways, I survived on

Re: gambling in prison
by
KiaKia
on 12/07/2025, 07:05:00 UTC
The problem is always the guards, once a powerful figure enters the prison its easier to confuse the guards to bend the kneel for money, sooner it will turn into some business and even the guards can be used to send out information.

Forget how they will get paid, there is always a way for criminals to settle those guards, they also have families at home that needs to be feed, so gambling is just one of the easiest thing that can happen in the prison.

The issue about this is how unsafe this can be, the same betting cards they use in prison can be used to send out commands or strikes right from the prison, or other vital information, it should be wrong but it is what it is.

Re: Is Bitcoin really better than gold for long-term savings?
by
KiaKia
on 11/07/2025, 15:04:48 UTC
I keep hearing people call Bitcoin “digital gold.”
But gold has been around for thousands of years, and Bitcoin is only ~16 years old.

Do you think Bitcoin can really replace gold as a store of value — or should they just complement each other?

I’m curious what older members here think!

Gold has been around for many years and that's why bitcoin is referred to digital gold, once is offline and the other is online, how hard can this be for you to understand?

Bitcoin was never trying to replace anything, its here to be a companion and co exist with everything, fiat, gold and others, it can be used as money or store of value, this is all there is to know.

Now it ends with choices, as a human what do you feel it stands well with you about your Bitcoin? The freedom to make use of your Bitcoin the way you want is present.

Re: Betting on the impossible
by
KiaKia
on 11/07/2025, 11:38:42 UTC
Nothing is impossible when it comes to sport bets, we have been proven wrong so many times in the past when we bet on the sure bets and they lost, I can remember the day israel Adesanya lost that UFC fight, many people lost money that day because they believed he will win.

There are many times where Barcelona have been leading because they are just that good but there are few times where they lost to those who we once thought was impossible.

The best way to take risks on such games is risking small money like OP did and this doesn't mean it will keep happening, that's why they have biggest odds over others.

Re: Is a University Degree Still Worth Anything?
by
KiaKia
on 11/07/2025, 09:00:44 UTC
Depends. Healthcare is always high in demand. Dentists, nurses, medical doctors will have no problems with getting a job no matter what happens. Even AI cannot take their jobs away.

The others? They seem dead unless you highly specialize in a field but then you need to be able to sustain yourself till you reach that stage and that’s why it seems it is not worth the wait.

If you ever want to get a job just because you finished college, go get a license that’s related to healthcare. Otherwise get ready to work way way harder just to land on a job.

It depends just like you said but there is hope for countries with no jobs too so I'd say its better to have your degrees than not to, in the process of having those degrees is better to have something else aside for yourself.

No one can tell what will happen in a country tomorrow, things can turn around for the better and maybe those opportunities will be present for those with degrees only, then is when you will feel the pain of not having any degree.

Nothing goes to waste in this world, and just because many rich men quit universities doesn't mean you should too, things might not work out the same way it did for them.

Re: When can someone say they have won the casino?
by
KiaKia
on 11/07/2025, 08:02:50 UTC
If someone win huge amount of money like $50000 with just $200, that person has won the casino. Some people are risking small amount of money but won huge amount of money, such person can win the casino. But just that as some people are trying their luck, they are losing and the casinos are still the one winning overall and making much profit from people, but there are exceptional cases that someone won huge and use the money to start a business.

Is this so? I have my doubts because this amount of money the gambler won can be his last on the casino, he can keep risking let's say $200 every week on gambling and keep losing the money or winning back $100-$150 until he save back the whole money to the casino pocket.

Also, what is your business with gambling after winning 50,000? The only way to really win the casino is to never gamble again, because that money stands as a debt that needs to be paid, whenever you are back to gambling there is a high chance that you will pay.

The best way to win the casino is win in a single strike and never come back again, go away and enjoy your money, find something else to do as source of having fun and killing time.

Re: What’s the safest crypto wallet for beginners?
by
KiaKia
on 10/07/2025, 16:14:58 UTC
Hey, I’m just getting into crypto and want to store some Bitcoin safely. Can someone recommend a good beginner-friendly wallet?
I just think of another point for you.

Please don't confuse about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency (altcoins). You must store your bitcoin only in Bitcoin wallets. If you have altcoins, store your altcoins in other wallets that are used for altcoins only. Never store both bitcoin and altcoins in a same wallet because with altcoins, you can interact with altcoins' scam smart contract. If your wallet is hacked, you will lose both bitcoin and altcoins.

Separating Bitcoin and altcoins in different wallets will reduce risk and help you managing your capital better.

Yes you are right, having your bitcoin in a separate BTC wallet is safer than mixing your Bitcoin with altcoins, I call such wallet multi wallet but where I don't agree with you is the better management of capital.

There are air gapped wallets today that users can store both Bitcoin and altcoins on, and yes they are very easy to manage all together, I think you over exaggerated your point on that part.

I will rather just advice people to not use their main wallet to claim any free altcoins or engage in any airdrops, either its mobile wallet or hardware wallet, but I can't agree more that BTC wallet is safer as a standalone because there is nothing to claim holding Bitcoin.

Unlike so many shitcoins and their fake freebies out there that's been used to lure beginners.

Are you saying that the couple broke up because the guy is into gambling? He should be happy, because that's a bad partner, if she doesn't like that he is gambling why not start from forbidding him not to gamble anymore first?

She just have to watch over him and see if he will break the promise again, let's say I am the one in this position, I would rather panic about him becoming addicted to gambling rather than trying to stop him entirely from gambling.

Is he a responsible gambler? This is what every couple needs to find out about each other first, they should stop assuming that since one is into gambling it will affect their life together.

Re: If you had infinite money, would you still gamble?
by
KiaKia
on 10/07/2025, 10:15:07 UTC
Gambling includes plethora of games, various sports to bet on but doesn't it all boil down to money in the end? More the money involved, more the thrill.

Suppose, as title says — you had infinite amount of money, would you still gamble?

Personally, I can't see myself giving two fucks when I don't care for money in first place. Would you?

Yes I can still gamble if I have all the money in the world, the difference is I am doing it not to double my money but to have some fun, there are people who are gambling simply because they enjoy it, the game is of different levels and types and everyone has a favourite.

The truth is bitter and that's the reason I believe that ninety percent of gamblers are gambling to make money, the few ones are doing it to make money and also have fun, no one can say no to money after they won all because they want only fun.

Some rich people have gambling as an hobby at a very young age and when they grow older they still prefer to do this as their own way of having fun, i have seen thing growing up, the only difference is some rich men prefers the old offline games compare to today's online gambling.

Re: Any Home Bitcoin Miner Fans Here? Bitaxe Gamma, Avalon Nano 3S, NerdQaxe++
by

on 10/07/2025, 07:37:11 UTC
NerdQAxe ++ is my favourite solo miner right now, can't go wrong with 80watt power draw, I can run this for many years to come unless the miner dies on me, I can't tell if those Avalon nano are open source and this is where I have problem with these miners.

Are miners selling their Bitcoin yet? I can't find a data that they are doing this right now, I think the price for these miners will still dump hard once Bitcoin goes down to 30k or 40 in the next bearish year.

I feel that's the perfect time to get this miners for discount, home miners might not be profitable anymore but it's fun, I can run one for the next 10 years to come and maybe, just maybe I can hit a block.

Re: gambling in strict countries
by
KiaKia
on 09/07/2025, 17:29:54 UTC
I don't understand how people will be restricted in a country not to gamble, it's not north Korea for crying out loud where you receive death threat if you gamble, there is no such thing, I believe.

It's not as if they will come into your house every now and then to check if you are into gambling, all you need to do is gamble in a more decentralised way, or just use a very strong VPN connection.

In a country where millions of people live no one will dare go around looking for gamblers to arrest, even in south Korea where gambling is restricted, the hunt is on those running gambling den in different locations.

People can still gamble in a country where gambling is restricted, it's restricted to keep people away, you don't have to be one of the many that follow this rules, just do it in a secret manner and don't raise alarm when you lose or win.

Re: Does it make sense to use mixing services in 2025?
by
KiaKia
on 09/07/2025, 14:20:38 UTC
Mixing doesn't ensure 100% anonymity with bitcoin, it helps to break the connection with your address and receive coins from different source but government agencies wre going against the mixers even though it's not illegal to mix coins due to the reason like it's used to launder hacked funds on multiple occasions.

So the answer depends on who you want to hide it, if it's about government then mixing won't be enough but it helps with other use cases.

Even though it's not illegal? This sound like a war you can never win with you just saying it's not illegal when many people are using mixers to escape from getting caught.

OP is mixer banned in your country? I think this is the best question I can ask you, if it's banned then forget it because you could end up in trouble, you are the only one who knows why you are using mixer.

Don't forget, you are not completely off the radar, it covers your track but there are still some catch, don't use mixer for any crime related transactions, it won't help but yes you are free to use mixers in 2025.

Re: Proof that gambling may ruin any career when greed takes over
by
KiaKia
on 09/07/2025, 12:03:17 UTC

Has any of you heard about Malik Beasley's federal investigation in a case about his possible involvement in rigging games and possibly betting on his own game as well? For those who are not familiar with him, he is an NBA player who supposed to have a good contract for the next season with the Detroit Pistons. He is not the first player in the NBA to do this though. There were several who got banned already and I think some of them had a jail time.

This is a prime example of how gambling could ruin any career if greed takes over and self discipline is mismanaged. The Detroit Pistons was reportedly ready to offer Beasley a three-year, $42 million contract and he blew it, possibly permanently if his proven guilty of this accusation.

There have been a lot of cases already about a person who got greedy in gambling and eventually got broke. So, this right here serves another lesson that we need to control ourselves when we engage into gambling.

I was expecting to read about how he use all his hustled money on gambling and he is now broke again but instead it was another thing entirely, he was a mastermind of fraud and greed, to me this has nothing to do with gambling.

In this case, gambling stand on its own, unaffected, this man isn't a victim of gambling but that of a criminal master mind.

Don't get it confused, a rigger isn't a gambler, they are trying to bend the result to their own will, this makes them no gambler but cheaters, if truly these happened then I don't care what comes off it.

He should be ready to fully accept the harsh punishment that comes with it, you can't cheat your way out and still believe that you are a gambler, its two different things.

I will never blame this person, yes a Bitcoin is $2 at the time but what about his survival? That amount might be a lot for him to survive at the time, would you rather get yourself killed for something that you are sure will worth hundreds of thousands in the future?

For this to possible you have to consider your present situation, how you are living life, it doesn't have to be perfect but you should be able to feed yourself and pay your bills, if you can't do that then you will get into Bitcoin for quick profits and sell again.
