Re: Will IEO be good in the future?
by

on 18/09/2019, 03:56:00 UTC
The fact that being IEO does not guarantee the success of the project. IEO is just a method or strategy adopted to perform the token sales of a project. IEO has surpassed ICO because it has a well-structured way of issuing the tokens via the exchange. Here, the tokens have higher probability of getting listed on the same exchange after the IEO ends, hence investors are assured of trading right after the token sale and will not have to wait for the long period full of promises on when to get the coin listed as some ICOs do.

The principle, ''Big risk, Big results" does not necessarily always work out like that especially in crypto. Taking big risks means putting your funds at stake because the investment was not built on any sound market research and analysis. Although there is risk attached to every investment, the investor must always endeavor to reduce the risk as low as possible through the performance of thorough market research and analysis which will finally help to identify which coins are capable of becoming successful.

Re: Do you think Institutions secretly HODL Bitcoin?
by

I've read an article recently where coinbase stating  that a large fund has entered in their website  and it was believe by the ceo that it was from institution. I don't know if I am glad to hear this because in my perspective, these institutions are just doing it in case the tables are turned and bitcoin really succeed. But I think more and more institutions will do this after we hit either $50k or $100k btc.
Apparently, these big institutions are aware of the benefits of Bitcoin and will not sit down and watch as investors enjoy everything. These institutions invest huge into crypto and since most of the transactions are anonymous, they tend to hide behind the transactions because most of them play important roles in governmental affairs. The institutions know Bitcoin and cryptocurrency cannot be stopped and will receive a mass adoption some years to come which will boost its market price.

Re: Bonuses are only to deceive people
by

Indeed they are, and it's big red flag when you see absurd bonus amounts and on absurd times (like at the end of IEO).

Whenever you see such IEO, ignore it unless you like to throw your money in drain (you should send me, if that's the case).
Bonuses are normally reduced as the token sales near its end. There is every reason to be alarmed when the opposite of the story is experienced, thus when the projects decides to give huge and weird bonuses at the end of the token sales. This could be that the token sales is not going well with the project and that have decided to increase the bonuses to lure investors.

Bonuses are not intended to deceive investors. Giving out bonuses is a strategy adopted by every business not only cryptocurrency projects to boost sales. This is the main reason behind the bonuses projects offer during their token sales. And as the sales get to its close, the bonuses are lifted gradually hence it becomes an early bird catch tactics.

Re: Which do you think is better, buy at tokensale or buy at public exchange?
by
Layers318
on 16/09/2019, 01:17:16 UTC
For me better to buy from exchange because from that what I see recently almost 80% of the project after listing on exchange trading at the  price below ICO price
Buying from an exchange after listing is smart but waiting all the time for a coin to get listed before purchasing does not work out all the time because not all the coins experienced a fall in price after listed although majority do. If a project is found to be promising with all the capabilities of becoming huge in the future, joining the early bird sales which normally offer incredible discounts could be a smart way to purchase the tokens.

Joining the early stages of most token sales is advantageous because most of the token sales offer the "Early Bird Catch" bonuses to early investors. Here, the investors get to buy the tokens at huge discounts. Anyway, buy a token after it gets listed is also another way to earn the tokens yet not all the tokens experience a dip in price after listing.

Re: Crypto market getting many new people. Is it good or bad for us?
by

Getting new people every time is a good news for crypto community. Although most of these people may not be well experienced in crypto, it is a good sign that cryptocurrency is nearing its mass adoption. Also, the knowledge and experience will gradually be acquired as these new members stay in cryptocurrency and gradually learn from the market and other experts.

Re: How important is the name of a cryptocurrency project?
by
Layers318
on 15/09/2019, 02:03:11 UTC
Just wanted to get your thoughts on this matter. Can the name of a project provide significant benefit or detriment to a project if it is appropriate/unappropriate or unattractive/attractive -sounding?
I am not sure how much of an impact it has.

It has a huge impact, in fact, companies are spending time and money to get the best name for their project, we all want a name that is associated success, longevity and sometimes projects, explain why they come with that name, some famous and popular products has a great history on how they come up with their name.
You have a point but the name does not have any major influence in the project development. Although a nice sounding name with good meaning which may be associated with the goals of the project is catchy on the market, the main idea and product of the project development do not come from the name.  The success of a well developed product and project comes from an experienced team with well structured marketing strategies which will attract investors to the project.

Choosing a simple yet catchy name for a project makes the project interesting but do not add any real value to the development of the project. The development and success of a project has got nothing to do with the name of the project but rather the idea behind the project, the expertise level of the team, the product of the project and its demand etc are some of the factors required for the success of a project.

Securing ones future with investment and savings is one of the smartest move a man can make. However, it comes with a price to pay in order to get to the authentic platform to invest. Many investment platforms come and eventually die off, leaving investors with losses. Aside Bitcoin, Altcoins are good sources of cryptocurrency investment yet not all altcoins are worth investing in. This is where the investor will be required to study the altcoins, come up with the authentic and much capable ones before investing in them.

Re: Be aware of the new exchange's IEO!

i see many cryptocurrency exchanges have IEO launch, but it doesn't mean the projects launched are good.
We must do many times of research about the project in every exchange, even IEO in binance should be researched properly.
Of course, investors are always advised to perform extensive researches on projects before joining because not all IEOs on the market are legit especially the ones hosted on the newly launched exchanges. I trust IEOs on big exchanges like Kucoin, Binance, however, I do perform the research.

The best way to keep ones wallet safe is to learn how to keep the login details to the wallet safe first. This is one major factor most wallet holders luck and eventually lead to their stolen funds. Never store wallet login details in mails because mails are very susceptible to attack especially the mails frequently used to fill online forms.

Altcoins are also good choices when it comes to cryptocurrency investment. However, not all the altcoins are worth investing in because some have dead ideas and products which are of no demand on the market. It is very good to study the project and its coin very well before investing in them. This will reduce the risk of falling a victim to scam and unsuccessful projects.

Although Bitcoin has the highest market dominance of about 70% yet it is not the only coin on the market making investors rich. If one really understand how cryptocurrency works and how some altcoins function especially when it comes to their service provision, then one will appreciate some altcoins with great potentials. There are always some altcoins bulling irrespective of the Bitcoin price status. At the moment, coins like DIVI, Bitrue, KNC etc are gainers on the market.

You have said it, I wonder who will just invest in any IEO having passed through the unfriendly activities in ICOs. The truth is, most exchanges will spring up now with the aim of offering IEOs, but it is neccessary we are careful so as to be on the safer side while securing our funds.
Joining the IEO of the first grade or tier one exchanges is quite safer than the IEOs hosted on the recently launched exchange platforms. With the tier one exchanges like Kucoin and Binance, the IEO or project must provide open source code, proof of documents and other checks which will grant the authenticity of the project. With this, investors are more unlikely to invest in fake IEO.

Aside adding some large cap coins to ones portfolio, I suggest an investor should pay attention to exchange coins like BNB and Bitrue. These two coins have got great potentials due to the growing rate of the exchange platforms. Also, the PowerPiggy feature of the Bitrue exchange allows holders of the Bitrue coin to enjoy and annual interest of 15% on their BTR holdings.
