Up and running again with my clock speed at 340 and chips set to 6 (using a GAW Fury)

My speeds went from slow (1.2 Mhs) to slower (700-900 Khs).

No idea whats going wrong.

EDIT: Restarted it from my phone late and we're up to 1.3 MHs, so that's good Smiley

EDIT 2: Just kidding, back to 1.1 constantly. Clock speed is at 340 and chips are set to 6. That's weird that its slower with this than when plugged directly into my computer. Maybe I should try something aside from bfgminer?

I don't use guided setup I use manual and the following -scrypt -S zus:all --set zus:ignore_golden_nonce=1 --set zus:clock=350

I get a solid 1.3+ with about 3% error rate

I changed from bfgminer to the fourth option (cgminer Diaz?) and I'm hitting 1.4-1.5 with 3% errors, not bad.

How are your cgminer settings for that?

Do you have the scheduled reboot option turned on? If it's a problem with that you should connect the rpi to a keyboard and a monitor and login as fast as you can, then remove the Minera cron job with:

Code:
sudo rm /etc/cron.d/minera

This worked for me. The PI stays online now. I sent you a PM.

Another Problem. I connected a Gawminers Warmachine to a new Minera yesterday.
I used a Windows Machine with CGminer before. On the Windows Machine i had a Hashrate of 54 MHs like it should be.
With Minera i only get a 24h average of 42 MHs. Clevermining shows me a Reject Percentage of 15%. Minera shows 8% Error rate and 13% Reject Rate.

I use BFGminer with extra Option -S zus:all --set zus:chips=256

Any Idea what i can do better? Is there a way to get the War Machine running on CGminer? If yes, what extra Options do i have to use?

Cheers
Alex

Hey Guys,

i´m using minera for weeks now without problems (thanks again michelem), but now suddenly minera makes a cycle boot.
i´ve got only a few seconds to access the PI Console before i get the "System is going down for reboot" Message.
Thats not time enough to change any setting on the Website. I can open the settingspage but if i change something and try to save it, the webserver is already away for rebooting.

Does anyone have a hint for me, what to do? I would prefer not to lose my stored frequency settings.

Cheers
Alex

Great job. Minera works perfect with my War Machine - Hashing away.

Hi,
what settings do you use, wich miner?

Hi Michelem,

Time to say thank you again. I pointed  my blade to your donation address for a day, I hope you got some good shares :-).

This brings me to another problem. Maybe someone has a tip for me. When I add pool addresses, the donation address is always on top of them. How can I change the order with a tablet PC? Drag and drop doesn't seam to work. So I always have to switch the pool manually.

Cheers... Alex

Hi Niceman
This morning i pointed some Blades to you.
They got connections and they are still working but hash rate goes down.

Now i tried to add some other blades and gpu rigs, but the miner doesn't get connections.

Seams like there is a problem with new connections. I tried US and EU.

This is a difficulty problem from the pools.

Example:
If dif. of 512 is fed to all my 5 gridseeds, they die. If dif. of 67 diff is fed to them all five, they stay alive.

You guys need to talk with the pool owners.

It's not minera.

Pooler just added difficulty change to his pool. litecoinpool.org. If you have a blade and an account at litecoinpool.org.

This is how you set the dif.

Quote
I have implemented a basic way to manually set a fixed difficulty per connection, and I would like you to try it out.
This is currently only supported by one of the two servers that we have on the East Coast, so you will need to connect to us3.litecoinpool.org to perform the test. (I will later deploy the change to all servers if testing goes well.)
To set a fixed difficulty N, just add ",d=N" to your worker's password when you connect. For example, if the password is "foo", connect with password "foo,d=64" to get difficulty 64.
Looking forward to your feedback,

My gridseeds now do not die on litecoinpool.org.

You guys are gonna have to talk with clevermining admin Terk to implement difficulty settings and use lower dif settings.

Edit:
Another place to test is maniacminer.in. You can change diff. on your workers.

Mhh i don't have a problem with high difficulties. the blades are running fine. i´m at difficulty over 6000 now.

For me its just a question of how to calculate when a device is dead and if you do this based on the last mining results, it´s flexible for all difficulties.

Another Problem.

Seams like cpuminer doesn´t detect the blades correctly. Sometimes i have to restart the miner several times, to get them all running.

I haven't Blades but I know they need really good USB powered Hub when they arent' "alone". Did you try to connect one or two Blades only?

Hi Michelem,

it was realy a problem of the hubs. Now the Blades are running. Thank you!

But now i´ve got the next problem. I´m mining on clevermining and the pool assigns difficulty 4000 to the blades. So sometimes it takes 5 to 10 minutes to get a share.
Your activity detection marks the blades as critical or dead if it takes so long and now i get permanently messages from MobileMinerApp.

did you use fixed times for switching the status to critical or dead? maybe it would be a good idea to make it dynamic and always track the longest times a share needed.

Hi Guys,

i didn´t have Problems with the Grids but now i got a couple of blades and i´m running into problems with them.

I´ve got two voltmodded with 7 MHash on a separate PI and they work fine.

The others are standart with 5 Mhash and these are having the Problems.
When i start mining, they all work but then one after one dies away. After two hours they are all dead.

Any Idea what to do?

Mobileminerapp and Minera works fine.

One Question... I still have some GPU Rigs running for X11.
Is there something like a Windows Programm, which controls sgminer by API and feeds mobileminerapp with data, so that I can see my Rigs too?

Yes, MuM will do just that. Check the post for MultiMiner.

I'm running into an issue. I've upgraded to the latest version, and I don't see the save freq button anymore. Or have you changed it so it only shows after it's done autotuning?

It´s on the right side above the list of devices and looks like a pencil

DataTables warning: table id=pools-table-details - Cannot reinitialise DataTable. For more information about this error, please see http://datatables.net/tn/3

This happens at the end of loading the Dashboard. On reloading the Dashboard, the same happens again. i have to jump a few times between Dashboard and Settings and than the Warnings goes away, until i logout and login again. Than it´s back again.

Cheers
