Re: The greatest disease of the human being... is fear.
by
Maestro75
on 16/06/2025, 13:56:35 UTC
Fear is what the devil uses to manipulate our minds and lure us to do evil or not to achieve something important. I feel that everything happening in the world currently is a sign of end time. It is written in the bible that in end time, countries will fight against countries and peace will be hard to find. This is what I feel is happening currently and that is why the war in the Middle East is getting more serious. Russia and Ukraine war is ongoing for a while now.

Not everybody believes in the existence of a Devil somewhere, and to people like that using the Devil to make a point will not mean anything. How do you explain fear further to people with such believe? About wars and what Bible says, war is not something new. It was there in the old testament where the children of Israel fought many wars with other nations. It is not just happening now, only that now gives any event big spread unlike before.

Re: Paying off the national debt with rich people's money

Nevertheless most of those rich people benefit more from government. They are made rich by government support through cronies in government because they get private information on government propose capital projects which they made themselves available to get some of those contracts, they register companies that will get those contracts. Rich people are supported to get huge loans to run business and tasked lower or given task wavers so that they can build the business.

There so much secret deals going on with rich people and those in government, so their growth is also supported by the government personnels.

Trump is promising to support Elon musk in this trying times. He is promising to buy Tesla cars and that I suppose is from government. So they make policy to favour rich friends too, they should support the country when they are called to help.

Trump already bought a red Tesla from Elon Musk from the video i saw of him online where he promoted the Tesla brand. I expected that patronage long ago because of the hardwork Elon has put in for the Trump government, from the elections till now. I like how you put it that government benefits the rich more and makes private information available to them. That is true. The rich have big money bag to buy into government projects and also help them achieve their plans. In my country we have this same thing too.

Re: SELL NOW OR HOLD?
by
Maestro75
on 27/03/2025, 13:11:46 UTC
This is one of the most loggerhead discussions about the bitcoin market, should I hold or sell, so I want this to be a tread of your opinions and why

I will go first

The idea of either holding or selling your coins is always done with speculations and fear of the unknown in most cases(not all) however I feel this decision is not supposed to be based on arbitrary and random speculations, it should be done with proper analysis considering the economic and technical implications in the coin, whybwas the coin created  by who if possible, what else can the coin be used for etc   btc for example is gaining more and more global traction on a daily basis for so many reasons.  with this kind of economic information dded with the technical formation of the coin, decisions about holding or selling is almost 50% solved
So I would prefer to hold for as long as possible, since coins generally do well with time
You will prefer to hold any altcoin for as long as possible? And you think every altcoin will do well? This is unrealistic thing to do because we know that along the line when prices continue to fall you will sell off with the same fear you complain of.

Wait wait wait, what are you talking about here? create a topic on the altcoins board then create a narrative that leads to Bitcoin (BTC). Huh

We can not stop talking about bitcoin even when we do not want to. It is the way nature has made it to be with cryptocurrencies as the leading coin. And it is for good we talk of it.

Have you not seen the extent of corruption DOGE department that is headed by Elon Musk is uncovering from the administration of the US government under Biden? Does that mean that America is not a country if we judge it by your standard of corruption?

bip39 option is for seeds generated by other wallet software not electrum. it should lead to an empty wallet in your case.

According to the YouTube video I watched with the link in my above post, it said it would lead to an empty wallet and it did. But my confusion is how to move it to the new empty wallet because in that video the youtuber said it could be moved. I got confused moving it. That is why am asking again if anybody understood the video better than I do.

No you can't move funds from the 2fa wallet to this wallet. You're barking up the wrong tree.

You need to restore the wallet as a 2fa wallet and not a standard wallet nor a bip39 one. To do this go to file >new/restore and enter a unique filename for your new wallet file. Then select "wallet with two factor authentication" > "I already have a seed". Enter your seed and in the subsequent steps you will be asked whether you want to enable or disable 2fa. Choose to disable it.

This worked out. And it made it look very very easy. Thank you for your help, and thank you to everyone who assisted me. I have withdrawn it with less than $1. This forum is full of people of great knowledge and who are also willing to help.

I have created a standard wallet and imported my seedphrase into it but my bitcoin is not reflecting in the new wallet.
I entered the correct seed.
This can't be true because if you selected "Standard->I already have a seed", it'll not accept a 2fa-SegWit seed phrase (the Next button will not work).

The only way that it will proceed is if you've selected "BIP39 seed" in the seed type drop-down menu but that'll derive the wrong addresses.
Or if the entered seed phrase is actually for standard Electrum wallet which will show under the text box where you type your seed phrase.

I selected BIP39 option and it was able to activate next for me. The first option can not allow me go to next. But the problem now is that am not able to proceed further. I watched a YouTube video on how to do it. I got to the point where I was supposed to write in description of what I want to do and could only succeed doing it on Receive but not on Send. Here is the video in case anyone has a deep knowledge on what to do to get out of this stage.  https://youtu.be/1k7ZqkZgBWQ?si=Qqv2IsvfNALyMAC0

@Maestro75, if you entered the correct seed and if you did not have an extra word (passphrase), and if the wallet synced successfully, you should see your balance. The process is pretty simple, but in case you made a mistake somewhere @Husna QA made a tutorial with pictures.

Remove 2FA in Electrum and use Standard Wallet instead.

I entered the correct seed. I do not have an idea why it did not show in the new wallet. I will read up the thread link you sent later today. It is going to be a very busy day.

You probably entered a wrong seed phrase.

No I did not. I entered the seed correctly. But I will check other suggestions made here later.

Thank you everyone who responded for quickly doing so. I have created a standard wallet and imported my seedphrase into it but my bitcoin is not reflecting in the new wallet. I can only see my bitcoin in the wallet with the 2fA. How do I now make my bitcoin appear in the new wallet which is a standard wallet?

Stuck on Electrum withdrawal

⭐ Merited by ABCbits (1)

Am in a state of confusion and I need urgent help please. Here is the problem. I wanted to send a fraction of my bitcoin to an exchange yesterday and I found out that the wallet am sending from has two different withdrawal fees to be paid because I chose 2fA on it when I was setting it up. It is an Electrum wallet and am not used to how electrum wallet works. The first fee, the one I marked in white is what I find as the fee from the mempool and which the other wallet am using that is not Electrum has. I do not know what that extra fee which I marked in blue is doing there. It is around $124. How can I get my bitcoin sent out without paying the second fee which is too high? Please someone help out on this.

Re: Shiba Inu vs Solana: Which Ecosystem Reigns Supreme?
by
Maestro75
on 15/01/2025, 18:44:11 UTC
To me, the Shiba Inu ecosystem is far more impressive than the Solana ecosystem, particularly in terms of profits. It has genuinely helped numerous people earn thousands of dollars, and remarkably, even those with zero knowledge were able to reap benefits from the memecoin projects emerging from this ecosystem.

What about the several many who lost in Shiba Inu ecosystem, have you considered them also? If you compared Shiba Inu with other meme projects we have there will be no problem. But trying to compare it with Solana ecosystem that is more solid is what I do not agree with. I see Shiba as a meme coin that luckily gave people money but not like Solana that has strong base and is here to stay for the future.

If you're looking for something serious, choose Bitcoin or Ethereum instead. Who knows how long will the "meme" coins craze last? Cheesy

Not only did it last but its flourishing now more than ever  Cheesy this is largely thanks to Elon's interest but also because it has some technical merit, which other memecoins are famously devoid of.

Dogecoin has surprised everyone and more especially those who called it a shitcoin some years ago. Elon's interest in it is what I do not understand, what is his reason for supporting dogecoin instead of bitcoin everyone is killing themselves for. Do you know or is it so that bitcoin lovers can get envious?

Most of the forum participants do not even know about the existence of Forex, and the decision to trade cryptocurrency is the only solution for them. As for me, I left Forex at a time when cryptocurrency trading was not yet available there.

Yes that is the situation in the past though. I think things are changing and the awareness is increasing now with trading forex here unlike few years ago.

Anyways, in relation to what OP asked, I think both crypto and forex are risky and having same trading pattern but one thing that is challenging in forex trading is manipulation that looks more than what you observe in crypto. This manipulation is frustrating and most times comes through fundamental which is news feed that can suddenly change the trend and direction of the market. But if you are trading decentralised coins, you will hardly feel manipulation.

What do you mean by decentralised coin in your last paragraph? A coin is a coin everywhere no matter the exchange it is traded, whether centralised or decentralised it does not matter. All of them also get manipulated by whales. Crypto manipulation is worse than forex manipulation because in crypto a single person with large quantity of a coin can influence price by dumping it but that is not how it works in forex trading. You will need a big institution to be able to move the market with their orders in forex trading.

Re: The Fear Factor and waiting in trading, advantages and disadvantages
by
Maestro75

.

I have noticed also that this fear can help you reduce lose sometimes when you fear to pull in your trade then you stay back and at the end the market would have gone against you. It means that the fear actually was to your advantage because you didn't enter an order.

The other times too, you can have the fear of not entering the market but at the end of that trade, you will realise that you would have made huge profit if you entered. This means the fear was a disadvantage to you.

I know fear and waiting can operate same time because as you have that fear not to enter you are at the same time waiting which can be both to your advantage or disadvantage.

We have the fear operating in both advantage or disadvantage to your trade.

So how has fear and waiting impacted negatively or positively to your trading experience?

Fear is a natural thing with every trader and businessman. And nobody should feel ashamed of admitting it publicly. Those who say they do not fear end up destroying themselves. But we know there are levels of fear. The type of fear that make you want to stay away from trading completely is not a healthy one. If you fear to buy because you believe the market will sell, why not sell at once. And if you think it is a buy why not buy instead of staying out and not trading at all.

Re: El Salvador and Bitcoin

Everything is going well for El Salvador at the moment. They have recorded massive gains from their Bitcoin holdings (over $360M). Seeing this, other countries will be looking to follow a similar path as El Salvador.

El Salvador is the luckiest country right now in the world for buying bitcoin last year and seeing what the current price is now. It has made very massive gain if it feel like selling now. Am not sure it will be massive gains for other countries that are preparing to buy bitcoin now because price is no longer cheap. This is why it is good to invest early before others rush into it.

The new rating team is exposing them, which is a great; but, these folks are using AI humaniser tools to make it tough for AI detector tools. My team and I had been watching that user for several weeks and wanted to make sure we got it correctly.

I asked Ultegra to help scan that user profile because he is quite good at it, and the results verified that I and the team were right all along. Appropriate decision will be taken as we always do.

Is using Ai and then finding a way to disguise the posts from looking like it is from an Ai not enough hardwork for those who do that? Why can they not keep to their own writing style instead of passing through all this Ai thing. Anyone who is lazy or lacks confidence to make their own posts and contributions from their brain should not be enrolled in a campaign. They do no deserve it.
