Sorry for the slight downtime of roughly 15 minutes, I also updated Bitcoin to 0.11.2 and migrated to a more high performance server. Issues seem to be resolved with connectivity with the testing I have done.

Philipma1957 I apologise for the issue should had, I noticed you had the wrong stratum url and yes you need to create workers for your account. I saw that you had 70TH/s so it was mining correctly once you had changed that. You may need to wait 10-15 minutes for your dashboard as it is an average over 24 hours and needs to build up.

I also checked your account and see that it is unlocked now, you also do not need to type your pin in to originally set your BTC address. If you have any more issues or suggestions please don't hesitate to pm me.

Yes you have a valid point -ck, maybe I am the only one that has an issue with these larger pools getting larger and gaining a huge percentage of the network. Or pools that spv mine and the likes. Yes Nexious may fail on the ideas it was founded on but atleast I can go to sleep at night knowing I've tried to make a difference.

It saddens me but I guess everyone has to face the music eventually.

I'm not sure what issue you were having and haven't had any messages from you so wasn't aware you were having issues. I have rented hash from NiceHash/WestHash and miningrigrentals also with no problems (some rentals worked better on the fixed ports)

There are currently over 40 miners mining at the moment and don't see any issues. Have you set your worker information in your account settings etc?

The first block is really that elusive and has yet to be found. The original promotion has ended but I'm that crazy to introduce another one!

Well I've spend nearly 1k already in server costs etc over the ~6 months Nexious has been running. I guess this is kind of a last attempt at attracting miners as nothing else seems to interest them. If this doesn't work then atleast I know I have tried nearly everything possible to fufill the dream of why Nexious was created (too try help decentralise the hash from the larger pools etc).

I have run the promotion for over a week and that hasn't brought in the desired amount of miners, so looks like no one will take up the offer anyway.

If it has sent then nothing really BTC-e can do as they no longer control the coins. Best bet would be to contact bitfinex and explain the situation to them?

Someone always has to loose in this situation, whether is the original trader that made the mistake or the traders that traded after it happened. Not sure whether this will help them bring in more users or not though...

Sorry if I missed it but has anyone heard the price of these and how many qualifies as a bulk order?

Port 3333 is the vardiff port, if you have issues with it you can use a fixed difficulty port (listed on website and first post) some miners like a fixed diff port instead of vardiff.

No the front end is the website that displays statistics etc. The stratum server (that deals with mining/incoming hash, and other parts of the back end (payments, updating statistics, managing block finding etc) is having no issues what so ever).

The problem seems rather intermittent with the front end, as it only effects some people and only sometimes. As they could try again in 5 minutes and it works perfectly fine for them.

Seems like solo mining is becoming more and more popular, 3rd or 4th thread ive read about people doing it now.Anyway I wish you the best of luck and hope you hit a block

Yes and I'm trying to get to the bottom of it, as I am not having any issues and don't seem to have anyone else having any issues as we are now up to around 200TH/s so it is not effecting the mining side of things just the front end for you.

Can you pm me some more details please? I can access Nexious fine from here, and about 150TH/s is currently hashing as we speak. I may have to look into other ddos protection providers if this continues to be a problem for some people.

I seem to have located the issue, try again now and it should be more responsive. Mining not effected just the web front end.

I have also placed a NiceHash order for a few hours to help bump up the pool speed.

I can view Nexious fine, but have had someone else running into the cloudflare page but then started working for him again. The server looks like it is running fine but I will have a look into it for you now.

Yes that is correct, so if you find a block (2BTC) and are in the top 4 for hashrate at time of block (1BTC) you would get 3BTC time is slowly running out so get mining

There are only 3 days left of the promotion to go now and sadly the interest isn't as big as I initially thought it would be so I thought I would try change things up a bit!

For the first block found 2BTC will go to the block finder and the remaining 4BTC will be split over the top 4 hash rates! So even if you aren't the block finder but your in the top 4 (based on hashrate at time of block found) you will get an extra 1BTC.

 Let me know what you all think, as this way the block finder (no matter how big or small hashrate you have) will earn extra and those bigger miners still get an extra incentive too! I will also be sending out some Christmas promotion ideas out soon too as Christmas is not far away!
