If it is broke, Slush will fix it. But, software doesn't wear out, it works the same way under the same circumstances everytime.

Well, he hasn't lately at least not in a very timely manner.  If the software worked the same way every time we wouldn't have had two blocks go missing in the past two days that he needed to fix and very substandard rewards issued on several blocks that he hasn't fixed, so I can only assume you have no idea what you are talking about and indeed much more than just the software is smarter than you.

So... regarding the missed blocks and payments, you guys aren't upset about it?  It just gets overlooked because we've been lucky lately?

I am not being a dick, but my normal reward per round is ~.03 and there were like 3 that were .006 or less, not due to any downtime on my miner.  I may be back if I can't do better elsewhere, but I'm going to check out btcguild until these issues are fixed.

I'm not happy about it either and I don't think you're being a dick.  It seems that lately the pool has taken second seat to his Trezor project, which is unfortunate since this used to be the best pool out there.  In the past he's always been right on top of things and corrected any issues that have cropped up, not so much lately.

Slush hasnt acknowledged block 237574 was missed so he gets all 25BTC.
I see block 237575 got adjusted scoring me on 237574's shares so I made .00131371 when I should have gotten around .0066x.
My friend who is mining 2.5gh/s like me his block 237575 got adjusted to .014x when it should have been .0077x so he essentially got paid for block 237574 and 237575 where I got absolutely nothing for 237574 and only 1/6 payment for 237575.

not much you can do if Slush doesnt acknowledge it happened.

Weird.  237574 is showing out of place when I look in the "statistics" menu.  For me, it shows right above 237575 in the grid, but, if it was going in order (since they are descending), it should have appeared below it.  Are you sure it's missing for you and not just out of place?

You're right, it looks like 237574 finally got added to the pool.  However, 237575 is still WAY lower than it should have been.

At around 1h50mins on a block, the estimated reward is reseted.

On #18176 yes, but that's not on every block.  #18165 and #18170 were both over 2 hours and the score never reset during those two.

Looks like #18176 is another victim of the score reset.  Or is it just me?

Very interesting... when I first heard the news I kind of just raged about the government, but I guess it's more the CEO of Mt. Gox's fault. Probably would not have been an issue if he didn't lie on those forms.

Well, hopefully in the future there's a way to go from coins to Dwolla again, because I found it very convenient and very low on transaction fees.

What is everyone else's favorite way of going from coins into your bank account? I'm mostly on btc-e, and the only other options I see at a glance are paypal (but a 6% fee seems steep), btc-e code to wire transfer through aurumxchange ($30 fee, also steep for someone like me that doesn't trade in large denominations), or liberty reserve (i've done very little research on this one).

CampBX also utilizes Dwolla, is located in the U.S., and you can do a simple ACH deposit into your bank account for your withdrawals ($2.00 fee), or even request an old fashioned paper check be sent to you.

and this one

briefly it was mtgox's middle man in the states - failing to adhere to banking regs in the us

Yea, except "mtgox's middle man in the states" and the CEO of Mt Gox are the same person, hence the seizure.  He tried to skirt the regs and it backfired on him.

Keyur,

I recently opened an account at Camp BX and am NOT satisfied with the customer support!

#1:  I sent in account verification docs via e-mail on 5/5/13.  No response on that yet.

#2:  I deposited via Dwolla on 5/10 and was credited a few hours later.  Made a SECOND Dwolla deposit on 5/11 (Saturday), Dwolla transaction ID # is 2940825.  Here it is Tuesday (afternoon in Atlanta) and still no credit for that deposit.  I opened a trouble ticket on that problem last evening - nothing on that yet.

Do you really think this is an adequate level of service??  All my interactions with Mt. Gox were handled within a short period of time (a couple of hours).

Once this is corrected, I'm seriously thinking I should transfer all my funds to Mt. Gox, where TIMELY customer service IS AVAILABLE.

Good luck with that.  Since you're in Atlanta, go ahead and try to transfer funds to Mt Gox through Dwolla.  Apparently you haven't been keeping up with current events.

After seeing the posts on here from Keyur, it seems to me that they are addressing customers' issues.

As far as the OP is concerned; if one cannot afford to loose $10,000 then why on earth would you let the balance get that high before trying to initiate a transfer or withdraw?  Bottom line is, all of these companies (Mt Gox, BTC-e, Bitstamp, Camp BX, etc.) are exchanges, they are not banks, use them as such at your own risk.  Wink
