You can already use the electrum wallet if you don't want to download a full blockchain.

They have een honest about it. Also any card 3ven branded (which is just a fancy word for some other ink on the same card) , would be a third party card since the issuer will always be a another company since minexsystems isn't a bank.

It seems they are going to create a way to add balance to these cards by going through their API rather than go through the card issuer directly and that according to them means they "will be releasing their cards.... soon" and they think they can fool investors in to believing this not yet released "product" is what the ICO was created for.
News flash, everytime you connect one service to another you make use of an api. A bank or card issuer is never given full access to their systems. It'd always limited through an api

VISA and Mastercard have quite a specific regulations and it is explicit that you cant use third party cards to issue them to your customers.It is strictly forbidden.You have to make issuing contract and after finishing necessary procedures and getting design approval and contract with card manufacturer.There is no workaround about it.It is required.
If you dont do that, your cards will be cancel so fast that you cant imagine.And not just that,they will put you on the blacklist permanently or for some period depends how deep you violated regulations. In telegram it waa already said that if you had card specific problems you can contact the bank. And for minexpay related things congact minexsystems.
This means the bank is ussieing the cards directly to customers as a normal ordinary debit card like or their normal clients.
So everybody will have a normal bank account with them. Minexpay has access to the transaction history and loads the cards by sending money to it. Loading a debit card with cash is not forbidden you know.

Dude learn what a crypto card is. Every crypto card out there, tenx, mco whatever all have normal bank cards with a their brand on it.
Every single one of them will do a conversion to fiat automatically or manual. If they didn't you wouldn't be able to use any atm or pos in the world since the only thing they accept is fiat.

I would say very very soon considering it was announced yesterday that first batch of customer info was send to the bank for card issueing and that today, just now, people are being asked to supply them with their shipping address.

Making a deal with Novarise Secrecy was a clear sign on high level on incompetence inside Minex.They didnt bother to check who is that guy when even a look on his FB and Twitter pages was enough to see that he is one of quick-rich scheme scammer.
Novarise didn't scam anyone. Minexsystems got a full refund on the money paid in the deal.
Novarise may have looked sketchy, but the guy had in depth knowledge of running a card program. Also minexsystems did check him out
Notarized proof of identity, notarized proof of address/residency. The issue was not with novarise but with the partners novarise was working with. When it turned out those partners could not answer some of novarise questions and deliver on time minexsystems decided to end the contract which they could since the contract terms were violated.

The thing with "test" cards is that they ALL work. They are supplied by VISA/Mastercard with PINs so they will work and ALL transactions will go through as long as there is a US$/EUR/etc FIAT balance to withdraw from. These Minex scammers are claiming they are doing something "big" by testing cards but any company can ask VISA/Mastercard for test cards and get them.
Borys and his team has overseen this Minexsystem project which had a $169 million market capital less than a year ago to a company with less than $3 million market capital today.

Now he is supposed to be an expert in blockchains, running an exact copy paste project as minexcoin. Same parking system with same hyperinflation rates, same "volatility control", debit cards etc. Only thing that is different is consensus mechanism.
