For better sync, temporary rename your wallet and start with empty wallet.
If you have problem with sync (stop after each 500 block), download saved chain from crypto-city and re-sync.

Blockchain was syncing no problem until I woke up this morning to a wallet that said "WARNING: Checkpoint is too old. Wait for the blockchain to download, or notify developers.". Blockchain is not downloading anymore.what am i doing for this?
'getcheckpoint' and 'getinfo' both give me the same block height = 3925235

Echoing Gsambolin, I'd like to also thank Tranz for all the work put in since this whole thing went sideways. Historically, adverse impacts on Bottlecaps have been exchange related. For a difference of 5 confirmations a listing is lost...I would hope not but I dont have the audacity of hope.

I would like to make a suggestion, If @Tranz would share the ticket number he has asking to upgrade the wallet to 2.3.0 and I am sure that in that same ticket he has offered to give back the missing coins. Maybe we can open other tickets referencing his to ask them to upgrade the wallet. Were not asking for much.

I'd take this as the declared resolution.
Additional #metoo tickets filed would take away from their support bandwidth and would, in my view, be demerits against a positive outcome for anyone with a balance on the exchange. I dont see the upside of taxing their resources.
I'm uncertain as to what the resolution of #95103 will be but I maintain a favorable view of Cryptopia in general.

Anyone notice the balance on cryptopia for cap is no longer locked? Trading still is "paused". Wallet is still 2.2.x too.
Confirmed, the receive and send options are open. Going to try and send 100 coins to my wallet.

Update: 1,000 sent to my wallet been on processing status on Cryptopia for two hours. My personal wallet is 2.3.0 is open and synced. Nothing has left yet from Cryptopia.

Disappointing but I cant fault it as a business decision. They took a loss. Reading through the prior 20 pages of posts would cause the dust of Socrates to circumambulate as his notion of obligation took a hit. Time Cryptopia devotes to sorting it out puts them deeper in the red.

cryptopia admins fighting enormous load lately, first priority, no time for anything
I figured as much as they've always had spectacular support. Cryptopia's experienced considerable growth since CAP was first listed.
I like the idea of reaching out to other exchanges with an offer, the team at Bittrex has always seemed very professional and above board. Alternatively, somewhere far from the shores of countries that want to tax every trade - Binance? https://support.binance.com/hc/en-us/sections/115000106672-New-Listings.

The verbiage "1 cent digital cap" is approximately 0.00000061 BTC per CAP - I thought it best to exclude in light of the ongoing devaluation of USD. Without the inclusion of the verbiage I saw an opportunity to removed the old flattened, flared-edge, crafting bottlecap from the splash. It's iconic and remains in the UI, Icon, and everyplace online that bottlecaps has been mentioned in the past 4.5 years.

Tranz shared some instructions and tips for setting up the checkpoint server. I saw someone mention they had a daemon running:

So if I understand correctly you're asking where the Checkpoint server is for the snapshot of Bottlecaps (CAP) that you took, edited out addresses, changed the staking perameters and renamed CAPP?

He sold 18M only in last day, other fake coins he start sell August, 31 and then can sell small amounts not attract attention.

35-40M now. Open CAP trading and instead "Chart" tab, set "Distribution" and calculate first 100 balances. Also you can set 1000 and calculate all.

how could hacker withdraw all 35M if he(she) sold 18 to other accounts ?
obviously those people withdrew the rest, and seems you can't tell who's who.
We just can see only part of fake transactions in explorer. After each 6 part of attack, he send same coins to and from exchange.
For example:
stage 1: he send own 2 M in fake transaction and receive back 2M good coins and own coins returns to his wallet.
stage 2: send 4M and receive 4M, now have 8M
stage 3: send 8M
stage 4: send 16M
stage 5: send 32M and sell 18M, then try withdraw, but exchange have zero real coins and stop trading.
