Now about 5 weeks in queue and through this time (with 10+ blocks found by the pool) my wait time has gone from 5 to 6 blocks.  I've quietly followed this discussion to see updates and have seen many promises of a manual payout, dating back to mid April actually.  Over the past week, there have been 2 updates suggesting 'tomorrow' and still nothing so I too must steer my miners away from here for now.  I really hope things get back on track.  I like this pool and I like WK (not that I know him, but I get a sense of who he is through his posts).

I'll keep checking in, and when I am finally paid and the queue is under 2 blocks, I'll be back.  Hope that is soon Grin

Not meaning to be a troll or confrontational but I have been in payout queue for nearly a month.  When I first reached the queue, I was behind a 5 block delay.  Since then, somewhere around 7-9 blocks have been found and my delay is still 5 blocks.

I like eligius and want to stay with it, and I do appreciate the work WK does.  Additionally, I have a rough idea of how the queue works but I haven't ever experienced this long of a delay in payout.  It's just discouraging to see the line stay the same, especially these days when blocks are few and far between.

I'm hoping this could be improved upon with the upcoming upgrade?

Anyway, I'm just throwing this out there and truly do not want to make any trouble.  I know WK is honest and runs the pool on his own blood, sweat and tears...

Trouble with admiralcoin.com (Bitcoin Casino)
by
RobN1972
on 08/01/2015, 03:16:31 UTC
So if anyone can help, fine...  I'm writing this more to inform (warn?) about the experience I have had with Admiralcoin.com (bitcoin casino) than to get help.

I'll be brief...  I made a deposit which promptly hit the blockchain and yet the deposit did not appear on my account.  I waited an hour or so and still nothing.  I emailed their 'round the clock' support through the web based 'contact us' form.  The form had a field for my email address and I filled it in, yet the next morning the reply I got from them asked for my email address again.  I provided it and several hours later the deposit posted to my account finally.  Given the fact that no other bitcoin casino had this type of delay, customer support took 6 hours to reply to my initial request and that the mood to gamble had passed (this was now about 15 hours later), I decided I didn't want to play on this site.  As soon as I saw I had the credits (1.08 BTC to be exact), I immediately submitted a withdrawal.  I actually mis entered the amount as 1.08 credits (or 1.08 mbc) and that came through almost instantly.  I realized I needed to make a new withdrawal and did so immediately.  That was about 36 hours ago.  I contacted support and asked them to please process the withdrawal about 12 hours ago.

Nothing...  no reply, no payment, and I never made a bet.  I didn't take a bonus or anything.  I simply wanted to cash out.

Maybe there's something going on, or maybe this is a scam site, but I wanted to post about it here.

I'll update if I hear back from them.

As promised, I am updating this to inform anyone interested that Bitmain did make good on the promise to refund at 105% in current BTC value.  Since BTC has dropped so much since I ordered, I actually made quite a few 'extra' BTC so it's all good  Grin

 I received a reply:

"We see you as playing Caribbean Poker, with the largest, Red dog, smaller and a few sessions at Ridem Poker.  You are saying that your chips vanished?  The system is played by millions of people daily and chips wouldn't vanish.  We consider you a valuable VIP player but we are trying to help you."

I'm sensing this isn't going to end well for me.  The bright side is at least I cashed out for my buy in and if they don't pay me the rest, I can save a lot of money by not playing there again.  I don't think these guys are dishonest, but I do question the integrity of the software they use.

I can't prove a thing (sad cuz I almost snapped a screen shot when I hit the big hand) so it is what it is.  I hit that hand, it paid about 5 BTC.  Yet there is no record of any of the play at that table.  I am SURE I wasn't in play money mode.

I post this for anyone considering play at this casino to be aware there may be some issues.  I have had many successful cash outs prior to this with no issues.  I have no idea why the play at this table seemed to disappear but it did.  I still hope support may find the record of this, but it doesn't seem like they will :-(

  G'nite all...

betcoin casino issue
by
RobN1972
on 24/12/2014, 03:32:30 UTC
I finished a session at betcoincasino.com and had the fortune of hitting a 4 of a kind in ride 'em poker.  I played a little while after hitting this and when I left the game my balance was right around 7 BTC.  When I left the game and attempted to view my wallet, I had to log back in.  When I had done so, my balance was about 1.5 btc, my (approximate) balance before I entered this game.

I know I was playing for real money and I know I had this balance....  maybe 6.8, maybe 7.0 I don't know exactly.  I just know I had hit a big hand and I was happy.

I have already emailed support and hope this is just a glitch they can quickly fix, but I am concerned because I have never had this type of issue before.  As there is no record of the play I am reporting here, I am at the mercy of their internal records.  I await a response from their support but wanted to post this here before I turned in for the night.  I hope when I wake up the 5.5 btc (roughly) are in my account and I will surely update here either way.

Until now, I have never had an issue with this site, but this is truly strange.  I wish they would have someone on call at all hours to handle things like this.

*sigh*  Going to bed for now....  I will see what the morning brings.

  Happy holidays, all!

Re: Bitmain and the Antminer L1
by

on 19/12/2014, 13:05:53 UTC
So my suspicion was correct and there will be no (publicly released) Antminer L1.  As shown in the link above, they are offering fair compensation for this.  I will choose option 1 and take a 105% refund in current market value of BTC.  This actually makes this the most profitable miner I ever bought (once I get the refund at least).

I have just now asked for the refund and will follow up when I get it to let anyone interested know the issue was resolved, and resolved fairly.

Again, thanks go out to dogie for taking time to look in to this.

If Bitmain makes good on this, I would not hesitate to consider another pre order offer from them in the future.  Contrary to what everyone says, I have made out just fine on pre orders from them for the various batches of the S3 and s3+ units by simply reselling them when I had them in hand (after running a few weeks of course!).  I have always trusted them, that's why I was so surprised at the initial response to this issue.  Now that they are stepping up and owning the issue, I feel much better.  (Once BTC is paid of course).

  I'll let you know :-)

Latest Update:  I received a confirmation of my request for a refund.  The email simply said  "noted".

I replied to this email asking when they would issue the refund and they said, "it would be processed after Christmas, we need some time to collect the info.
thanks for your understanding."

Meh, I'm not that worried about waiting a week or two as long as I get what they promise, but I do want to go on the record as saying it shouldn't take so long.  There's no information needed, really.  They have my orders and they have my BTC addy, so those plus 5 minutes and they could wrap this up sooner.  Oh well...

The only update I was given is that they confirmed my request to cancel the new order and keep the orders open for the L1 units.  I am hoping they will either change this unfair exchange policy (Dogie is looking into it, THANKS!!!!), or actually deliver the L1s in the next 30 days.

I was one of the many ripped off by KNC on a preorder and I swore I wouldn't do it again, but Bitmain has been on the money with everything else, so I trusted them.

However this plays out, I will not pre order anything from anyone again, not even Jesus Christ himself.

  Thanks for the support Wink

Bitmain and the Antminer L1
by
RobN1972
on 17/12/2014, 13:16:18 UTC
 Hi all,

I don't want to be considered a troll, but I think the experience I am having should be shared.

So I ordered in good faith 5 units of the Antminer L1 back when they were first introduced.  I know pre paying for mining equipment so far in advance is a risky (and arguably stupid) proposition, but the deal looked good and I have had dozens of successful transactions with Bitmain so I decided to take my chances.  Bitmain has always made good on pre orders for me so I didn't think twice about it.  My gamble was more about the value and difficulty of LTC come time to receive the units.

Well, as many of you know, the L1 units were promised to be delivered in December.  Granted we are still 2 weeks away from the end of the month, but the fact that there has been no news or even a picture of the product released got me thinking they were going to have trouble making the deadline.  I politely wrote them and asked if there were news and they said there was not, so I asked if I would be allowed to use what I had paid for the L1 units toward a new order and they responded YES.

Here's the thing...  the L1 units are priced in USD, $599 each.  I bought 5, so a total of $2995.  I of course paid them in BTC at the time of the order, and as we all know, BTC has dropped sharply since September.  When I went to make a NEW order for things they actually have, my order total was about $3047.  I wrote support (as I was instructed to do) and gave them the order numbers for the old orders (of the L1 units) and the new order.  By my math I owe them $52.  They wrote back and told me my balance due on the new order was roughly 2.7 BTC, a far cry from the $52 I thought I owed for my new order.  I immediately responded and explained that since the L1 units are priced in dollars, I feel my credit should be in dollars to which they said they can't do that.

The L1 units (if they exist) are arguably worth more than $600, and certainly worth much more than anything I would get in BTC credit applied from September.  I feel that Bitmain is wrong for doing this.  I paid them $599 per unit but now they want my credit to be for the BTC paid.  There's no way to prove this, but we can all be pretty sure that if BTC were UP at this point, the credit back to me would likely be in USD, and not in the BTC I paid.

The whole issue is they have all but admitted they won't make delivery on the L1 units as promised.  They haven't offered a shred of information about them.  I feel it wrong for them to expect me to take a loss on the value of my payment in order to get anything for what I have paid.

I told them to cancel my new order and leave the orders for the L1 units open, and that's where things are at now.  I have to say I expected better from this company and I am disappointed.  The best I can do is hope they actually ship L1 units at some point, because I believe they will have much more value than what Bitmain is offering me now.

I just wanted to share my experience, that's all.

I did wind up getting a payout, but only .27 LTC for 24 hours of 11+ mh/s.  Looks like the LTC pool only cracked 2 blocks in the past 24 hours.  Pretty unlucky :-(

 Hey guys,

Maybe it's nothing, but it's been over 24 hours since my LTC balance moved on multipool.us.  I have been hashing at 11+ mh/s, and the site reflects that, but my balance doesn't move.  I am mining DOGE with my other rig and the payouts are coming along regularly as they should be.  I have mined there for a couple months and always had a slow and steady increase in LTC as I looked throughout the day, so this is definitely not normal.  It seems to be stockpiling my shares, which are currently 16525312, so I assume I will eventually get paid but I never saw this happen before.  Blocks are getting solved, but my shares aren't being paid.

Is anyone else having this issue?  I didn't see anything said elsewhere.

  Thanks,
Rob

Re: MTGOX has not paid us since 26th of June!
by
RobN1972
on 07/02/2014, 07:10:56 UTC
I started another thread on this, but wanted to share on this one.  I experienced the same issue getting the withdraw cash from them, so I decided just to take the hit and buy back my bitcoins.  I was able to lose almost nothing because there was a slight drop in price.  I then immediately withdrew my bitcoins from them (just about 5 in total) and it's been 3 days and they aren't sending them.  Others on the other thread say they have waited over a month.  Support doesn't answer anything, and more people are starting to think they may be scamming.  I don't like to throw around accusations, but if there is a legitimate technical reason for this, they should acknowledge it and tell people.  After 3 days, I have heard nothing and have opened 3 separate support tickets.

Just letting others know what my experience is...

UPDATE 2/7...  the BTC has been returned to my account, but it won't allow any to withdraw ...

Bitcoin withdrawals are temporarily disabled until the issue is solved, please see announcement...

Dear MtGox Customers,

In our efforts to resolve the issue being encountered by various bitcoin withdrawals, it was determined that the increase in the flow of withdrawal requests has hindered our efforts on a technical level. To understand the issue thoroughly, the system needs to be in a static state.

In order for our team to resolve the withdrawal issue it is necessary for a temporarily pause on all withdrawal requests to obtain a clear technical view of the current processes.

We apologize for the sudden short notice. All bitcoin withdrawal requests will be on pause, and the withdrawals in the system will be returned to your MtGox wallet and can be reinitiated once the issue is resolved. The trading platform will perform as usual for the needs of our customers.

Our team will resolve this problem as soon as possible and will provide an update on Monday, February 10, 2014 (JST).

We deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused, and thank you for your kind support and considerations.

Sincerely,

The MtGox Team

Re: Mt Gox Slow to send BTC?
by
RobN1972
on 06/02/2014, 13:44:36 UTC
So the problem is obviously widespread.  To update from here, I'm now 2 days in and still no news or activity.  I sent a support ticket in yesterday and got an automated response about 12 hours later.  The response basically said we are going to respond when we get around to it.

While I believe it unlikely I will lose them, until I get my 5 BTC back, I am going to worry about this, as will many others.  There is a problem much bigger than than this, though.  If they continue to keep us in the dark, and make people afraid to use them, news will continue to spread.  Mt. Gox is, according to the media, the #1 exchange for BTC.  If there is perception they can't be trusted or (worse yet) media coverage to this effect, it can cause another crash in the price of BTC.  "If you can't trust Mt. Gox, how can you trust BTC?"

If anyone out there has any more direct lines to them, I know we would all appreciate being told what is happening.  System issues come up, and people will be much more forgiving is they are kept in the loop.  By not offering any explanation they are running the risk of losing their entire client base, and, as I said, shaking the entire economy of the community.  If they would just come forward with an explanation and a time frame, they could minimize the damage.  What they are doing now (seemingly NOTHING) is the worst thing for all of us, whether we have BTC tied up or not.

 Keep posting, people...

Well it's morning and still no BTC in my wallet or my Mt. Gox account...  I did at least wake up to 2 replies, and I thank you for taking the time to respond to a newbie post  Smiley

I can't help but wonder why this exchange is so popular.  It took them 6 weeks to verify me, and bitstamp was one day.  Then to get money out, you must go through another (undetermined) waiting period while your bank info is 'verified'.  I submitted that information about a week ago, and the account still has not been updated.  Additionally, there is a $1000 per day limit unless you send them the paperwork to become 'trusted'.  The paperwork isn't too much to get together, but how long then will THAT verification process take?

Obviously, the higher price fetched on Mt Gox is appealing, but if you have to go through so much stress to get paid the price doesn't matter.  After singing up for a Mt Gox account nearly 3 months ago, I still can not make a cash withdrawal, so even if the price were $1 Million each, what good is it?

*Sigh*...  For me it's 5 BTC, and whether I get them in a day, week or month, it won't matter much as long as I wind up getting them I suppose.  I just know for me, that Mt. Gox is not where I want to transact exchanges.  Seems to me with all the money they are making that they would want to have a more efficient system in place.   I do have to ask...  Is there a chance these BTC are gone forever?

If it matters, the transaction hashes are:
9b60b75da3c8947fe323b13904abd91d26239fa5ccf29a5ef5f2561545d59d47    and
f4c65e84b564ba0de02689511615dcd7f68c01c0712cab9ede0d45b89563a7a7

I'll simply wait and hope that this truly is a legitimate system problem and that I will wind up with my BTC at SOME point.

Mt Gox Slow to send BTC?
by
RobN1972
on 05/02/2014, 03:50:46 UTC
 Hello All,

My first post here, and I am not trying to stir anything up.  I simply wanted to ask if this situation were normal...

It's been about 9 hours since I withdrew just about 5 BTC (over 2 transactions) from Mt. Gox and I have yet to see the payment post to my wallet.  Neither transaction hash appears in the block chain, so Gox has not yet even initiated my payout.  Again, this is for BTC, not cash.

I have made a couple BTC withdrawals from Mt Gox in the past and they came through nearly instantly.

Is anyone else having this trouble?  Should I be concerned?  I am going to sleep now and its very possible that in the morning this will have fixed itself, but I felt it worth putting the question out there.  The longest I have had to wait for any transfer is about 75 minutes, so this one is well beyond that.

I appreciate any insight that can be offered.  I am a little concerned as this is a decent chunk of change and I want to know it will not simply vanish...

  Thanks,

Rob
