Most ICOs list large teams - we noted its easy to find people through bounties, online work sites and the services section of bitcointalk to list on these projects. Many ICOs list outright fake identities. Which is why 90% are scams.
We are committed to quality over quantity and upholding the Noble principles that we are espousing.

Yes, it is a Herculean task, and it cannot be achieved by two people, but the beauty of Chakra and Noble Nation is in its simplicity. The tech coupled with the philosophy and the frameworks naturally brings forth the Noble goals. Our job is to mature the technology and to promote it so that those who care can adopt it and bring forth the results.

I am a software engineer of over twenty years experience, and I'm confident of taking the core tech to maturity myself (I believe Satoshi built the first implementation of Bitcoin by himself) - its just a question of time. Having the funding and the community support will make things much easier and faster.

Building a solid core team and a ardent community of supporters and experts is a primary objective of this ICO.


Noble Nation cannot be brought forth by commercial interests - it has to be brought forth by the goodwill of the human community. The technology and the platform cannot be owned by anyone.
The Noble Nation platform is the ideal democracy. All current crypto platforms are either Plutocracies or Oligarchies no better than the governments and institutions we have already. this will always be the case as long as there is a commercial interest.

I believe before all these money hungry ICO scams started, this was what ICOs were for - to independently fund promising new block-chain based tech and ideas.

Unfortunately it seems these days the crypto/ico crowd is 99% people trying to make a quick buck and not really interested in the tech or the principles any more. We still haven't started the mainstream marketing to people outside the crypto/ico community, but we are confident we will get the support we need when we go to these communities.

Hello - we are proposing a novel new block-chain architecture which we call Chakra.

Atomic micro block chains
Current blockchain systems have a single gigantic blockchain that stores all the data in the system's universe and requires every full node to keep a full copy of this entire giant block-chain. This immediately makes the system non-scalable.

In Chakra, what is stored are atomic micro block chains. An atomic block chain stores history of a single data structure at a single address.

Distributed Storage of Atomic Block Chains
The address space is split into segments and nodes are randomly assigned zones that cover a range of these segments. The atomic block chains having addresses belonging to an address segment are stored only by the nodes that have been assigned zones that include that address segment. By doing this, the address space load is distributed among the node population and makes Chakra extremely scalable.

Hierarchical Replication of Atomic Block-chains
A single address segment is replicated across a hierarchy of zones. The number of tiers and hence the amount of replication is a primary system parameter.

Consensus through Random Representative-Publics (Re-public)
Current blockchains use Proof of Work and Proof of Stake algorithms to achieve consensus. Proof of work is extremely inefficient and costly and proof of stakes do not lend themselves to truly large democracies. Transaction latencies are very high.

The set of nodes that are randomly assigned to zones that cover a single address segment become a set of delegates with authority over that segment as representives of the whole population. This set of nodes is called the Segment's Authority Chain (SAC). For a transaction to be committed to an address in a segment, all the nodes in the SAC must validate the transaction and reach consensus. Due to the small set of nodes in a SAC (typically between 16 to 32) and the fact that they all will have preexisting network connections to each other, transactions can be processed very efficiently, with low latency and even synchronously (i.e immediately receiving a definitive result).

Actively Randomized Authority Chains
Unlike current block-chains, Chakra is immune to the 51% attack.

Firstly, due to the data being distributed in micro block-chains, there never is a case of taking control of the entire system.

To prevent a set of colluding nodes from taking control of a segment's authority chain, the zones assigned to nodes are actively reassigned randomly. By doing this, it is made statistically impossible to take control of a Segment Authority Chain in a reasonably sized node population. For example, in a system with 2^24 segments and 32 nodes per segment authority chain, the probability that a malicious group takes control of the segment is just 1 in 2^408 - a statistical impossibility. Even if the malicious group controls 50% of the nodes, they still only have a 1 in 2^32 chance of taking control of any specific segment authority chain.

The above features together, effectively distributes the data and transaction load across the node population while achieving robust fault tolerance, security and determinism.

We are trying to create a blockchain eco-system that is open transparent, truly democratic, incorruptible and guarantees fundamental rights immutably at the blockchain level. A platform that can realistically replace flawed social, economic and governance systems and institutions that we are forced to rely on today. We call it Noble Nation.

Bitcoin (or any other Cryptocurrency) needs to match or better the volumes and transaction times that the current banking system can handle. At the moment, this is not the case, but with a few changes to the technology it will get there.

Computationally simulated artificial intelligence (which is what we have today) will always be many orders of magnitude less powerful than biological intelligence. Of course an artificial neural network trained to do a specific task (e.g. play Chess or Go) will outwit a human brain that is wired to do an infinity of tasks.

If all (or a big chunk) of the worlds computational capacity was tapped into a single giant artificial neural network with access to all the data online, then we might have an AI that can outwit the best human brains.

The real danger here is that powerful entities (governments and corporations) who have the resources and know how to harness this power, would use AI to enslave the rest of humanity.

Noble Nation is creating the frameworks and principles by which humanity can reap the full benefits of these technologies without the danger of either AIs or large corporations and governments enslaving humanity.

Further, what differentiate us humans from even the most powerful AI that might evolve in the future is the human capacity for Wisdom and Love. It is this Wisdom and Love that will establish our authority over our creations. If only we get our act together .

Firstly, we need to understand that no two human beings are equal - no two people are the same in their physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual parameters that define a human being.

Having said that, every human being is intrinsically born with the faculties of free will & action - i.e. the sovereignty to think and act as he/she wishes. This sovereignty is common to all and no persons sovereignty must supersede another's. i.e. The human individual is sovereign, and the sovereignty of all Individuals are equal.

A "fair" society is one that recognizes and upholds these two truths in all its systems and institutions of society, economy and governance. Unfortunately, such a society does not exist today.

Reading through, I am glad that most have a positive view of Buddhism. But there are a few things which are not correct that I would like to set straight.

To begin with, the Buddha is not a God. He was a human that attained to Buddhahood (perfection of knowledge) through development of wisdom and mental power.

These rules are followed out of goodwill and compassion for ourselves and for our fellow beings. These few rules ensure that we do not contribute to the suffering in the world and keep us grounded. But these rules play a far more important role than simply helping us live in peace in the here and now - they are the fundamental virtues needed to keep the mind happy, content, calm and sharp which is essential for the next stage of practice which is Meditation.

Buddhist meditation is the act of self introspection to understand oneself at the most fundamental levels of existence. Through meditation we gain knowledge and self mastery which in turn becomes wisdom. This ensures our well-being in this world and beyond as we progress towards our goal of Nirvana.

A fundamental postulate of Dharma is that all suffering comes from ignorance (or the lack of knowledge of the true nature of things) - inversely, in the perfection of knowledge there is the perfection of happiness - this is Nirvana.

Buddhism does not evolve - the Buddha by definition is the perfection of knowledge and therefore the Dharma the Buddha set down is also complete and perfected in every detail. As with everything else, the name of the Buddha and the Dharma and the label Buddhist has been used and abused by various parties with vested interests. Whatever others may say or do, the original Dharma is pure and complete for anyone who cares to study and practice it.

As mentioned before, unfortunately, many parties have abused and continue to abuse the name of the Buddha and the Dharma for their own ends. Anyone who does not uphold the five basic rules of the teaching are by definition not Buddhists.

It is most definitely possible to have unconditional love to all beings all the time. It is by no means easy, but those well gone in the path of Dharma surely can and all practitioners of the Dharma aspire and train to be so.
It is important to understand that love is only perfected in wisdom. For it is wisdom that guides us in how to love so that we protect all - including those that are out to harm us.

We do not pray to statues or gods. Some of us do however use statues as tools to recollect and concentrate our minds on the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha (community of practitioners who have entered the path to Nirvana).

Well this is a bit complicated but let me try to explain in simple terms. Dharma as a science describes the underlying fabric of existence and its operation at the most fundamental levels. Through this it explains the arising of beings, and from this, a hierarchy of beings can be elicited. This hierarchy of beings and their states of existence are somewhat analogous to and range from the lowest hells to the highest heavens in other religions. The human realm is roughly in the center of this hierarchy. All beings above the human realm are considered deities as they are more powerful than humans. At the highest point in this hierarchy which can interact with the sensual sphere (the physically formed universe that we can sense with our physical senses; the hierarchy extends beyond what is sensorily perceptible; but even this can be perceived in meditation) we acknowledge a father god - the great Brahma in Hinduism whose intrinsic essence is love (analogous to the Almighty God of Abrahamic religions). But none of this really matters for the Buddhist practitioner as our focus is to perfect virtue, mental power and wisdom. We appreciate and respect all these beings while working harmoniously within this scheme to attain the goal of Nirvana.

Humans should not have to do what a robot can do - so definitely positive.

Ordinary workers can then move up the hierarchy of needs, which now only the rich people get to do. When you no longer have to run behind money and work for a living, time can be utilized to engage in intellectual and philosophical endeavor, which would have a positive outcome for the society as a whole.

But for this to happen, many of the social structures need to be re-engineered so that the benefits of robotized production percolates to everyone.

Generally don't like governments regulating crypto. But having read through the document, seems very sensible, balancing the need of all parties - investors, law enforcement and the crypto community.

From my understanding, in summary - what they are saying is if the Token represents equity(shareholding) or debt(debenture) or an investment scheme, then it is regulated under their normal securities laws. But if it is none of the above, then the Token is not regulated.

Agree. It would be a shame, as this is exactly what Bitcoin was created to overcome - centralized control of money, thereby leading to money being used as a system of control.

So what has been developed openly for the last 10+ years for everybody's benefit... these guys just come along, copy much of it and make a few obvious changes here and there and patent it?

Next thing they will be suing the rest of the crypto community for anything that even remotely resembles what they are claiming to do.

Just like the self fulfilling banking system, Intellectual Property system has also become just another tool used to control and keep in check any challenge to the powers that be... to stifle innovation and embolden big corporates to crush small competitors.

I think everybody understands the need for government. But governments must fulfill the needs of the people and not just a few of the rich and powerful. If governments were truthful, democratic, efficient, resourceful, just and transparent, there would be few complaints 

Because by it's very nature, tax is theft. Just as people would be scared of being robbed, it is only natural that they should view taxation in the same light. Any one who is not scared of taxes has been psychologically conditioned by governments into submission. This also sets the standard for many other injustices and immoralities to take place in society.

A society needs a form of organization, which is government, and such government would need funding to operate. Any person with self integrity would want to contribute in proportion of his capacity for the operation of this government. But that does not mean it is something that can be forcibly taken.

Taxes are a throwback to ancient/feudal ways of squeezing wealth out of the working people by the monarchs and the rulers.

In future forms of government, there is no place for forced taxation. There are many alternative, morally just ways of raising revenue for a government. These morally just ways however will force governments to be democratic, non-corrupt, just and transparent - so obviously politicians would not want that happening

Yes. Democracy is absolutely neccessary, if true peace and prosperity is to sustain in the world.

It is disappointing that some of the posters on here even considers the thought that democracy is an option. It only shows how much the governments and politicians have subverted the inherent freewill of the people.

There is no select lot of 'superior' and 'inferior' people. In my experience, it is the poorer masses that need democracy the most - it is precisely the lack of democratic opportunity that keeps them there. As for education, again, it is democracy that brings about education, prosperity/wealth and peace.

Every individual is sovereign, is equal before law, and should have the right to live with freedom from oppression from any source, and participate on policy that effects them.

Having said that, representative democracy that is currently practised across much of the world, does not, and never will be able to reflect true democracy. Right now it is only just a sham - the candidates who can fool most of the people get elected, then pretend to uphold the interests of their constituency while doing the exact opposite. Until participation of the entire citizenry is possible, democratic process is just a faux.

On the other hand, block chain technology has the potential to create the closest representation of true democracy.

Crypto currency is the next evolutionary step. But it may not necessarily be Bitcoin, as it has many shortcomings to be a global currency. Crypto currency will take over eventually - definitely within the next decade.

Actually we do have the power, we always did and we always will.

Currently the politicians and governments are doing everything in their interest driven by greed, at the expense of ordinary people. We are being led to believe they know better.

Good people need to come together to peacefully create a better world order. We can build a true democracy based on the block chain, where people's needs are fulfilled.
