Re: 100K usd enough to start a Bitcoin game?

We had only about 20 as bankroll when we started and it went just fine. What you can do is not allow big bets or high payouts (high risk, high payout) while your bankroll is low.

Please keep in mind that it has to make sense for the house also, just not for the players.

HOW ABOUT THIS

play twice get free bonus

example :
I send 0.001 twice
Afterward I receive additional 0.001 bonus

I send 0.01 twice
Afterward I receive additional 0.01 bonus

Sure, any account that goes to zero and has two identical deposits automatically gets sent a third deposit that matches the two. Would work.

Re: Is it really necessary to keep bitcoind on separate server?
by
Satosh¡ Slot
on 19/11/2014, 08:12:11 UTC
i dont see a problem with having them on the same machine as long as that server does not control any funds.

any bitcoin server which can be used to send money should be on another network and on a machine which you control physically to avoid attacks from your hoster.

No need, the machine can be encrypted, or even just the wallet encrypted and unlocked when it has to send out funds. And only use https calls to get data so that the host can't find clues in the traffic.

Re: Bitcoin ATM - Legal Silk Road
by

on 19/11/2014, 08:10:35 UTC
Obviously I know that silk road was very illegal and hidden on the dark web. But how hard is it to create an encrypted website that no one can access aside from admin? an encrypted craigslist essentially i guess...

Also, who should I look for to develop a a computer powered and programmed device...like the lammassu knows how to perform the exchange capabilities. What kind of person would be able to program that...electrical engineer, computer engineer...might not be as easy as a tablet. Might just be a small computer board situation...so would that be a computer programmer?

Thanks

The electrical engineers and computer engineers I know could probably easily do it, as long as they put some real interest and effort into actually completing the project.

Re: The transaction fee is just ridiculous.
by

We are FORCED to pay a tax upon every transaction, and they say Bitcoin doesn't have any taxes? That's just pure crap. Taxation is unconstitutional theft via armed extortion. In Bitcoin's case, it's unavoidable, and is without the armed extortion (YOU ARE FORCED TO PAY).

Just go ahead and send your transactions with zero fees. Noone is forcing you to include the fee and lots of transactions go through without paying. Also there is no punishment for not including a fee. Sure, you may have to wait longer for confirmations or even resend transactions that never confirm, but you won't go to jail for it.

Too much talk about paper and brain wallets. More people probably messed up and lost their coins than people that managed to save them thanks to using a paper or brain wallet.

We played this site back in 2013 and are happy to see it was developed after the first few months. Then nothing much happened for a long time. Hopefully you will continue to develop it into something even better now when it seems you decided to advertise it more! We will add the unconfirmed balance on our site too (satoshislot.com)

Seriously Sr. Member with Ponzi really? Did you buy this account?

He became senior member because he made like 100+ posts trying to make people aware of another guy running a ponzi scam. I guess it's more lucrative to run your own ponzi lol. At least it's clearly advertised as a ponzi so everyone knows what's up. He even label it as second ponzi, in effect letting people know that there's already a bunch of losers from the first ponzi.

What are you ready to pay? From .1-1btc? give us a price.

It depends on the site. Coinion.com would we would pay several bitcoins for but just a WordPress with 2 posts and no visitors we would pay very little.

Yes, there's nothing stopping this from happening. A problem is that each address that is to receive the citizens' salary would have to be tied to a specific person. A government can do this, but it would also basically give the government power over this money. And they would have the power to create addresses to receive funds for wars and stuff like that, just like they do with fiat currencies.

Did you write about Bitcoin on a WordPress blog? I want to buy it. Domain to be transfered and backup of files/database needed. That's it. Price depends on the quality of your blog.
