Interesting. I think iceland tried to do something similar, if on a larger scale with aurora coin. I've also seen news stories about small towns in the united states making their own altcoin which was to be used locally. Not sure how well it works as I haven't kept up with those developments but it is an interesting idea.
I have been actually thinking of the same scheme and how it can be of big benefit to intended beneficiaries. To make thing simpler, this is just similar to actually funding a project but instead of maybe receiving an investment certificate one can get some tokens and these tokens can also be traded in an exchange (similar to stock exchange).
Maybe crowdfunding can soon be done this way and this can be a good idea to explore as this can open for more opportunities. However, just like any business scheme, this can also attract fake businesses or scams to make a ride with its popularity so we have to be careful.

Alts always collapse just when Bitcoin is entering parabolic move. It will be that way for foreseeable future as it still has not only first mover advantage but majority of entire cryptocurrency market capitalization. Its gravitational field is simply too strong.

Yep, and if your disk gets corrupted or damaged or whatever, you still need to download the whole thing again to get back to as little as 6 GB (it's less than that actually, but whatever). You're backing the irresponsible idea that the 125 GB needed, even for a pruned node, should start growing at 8 or 16 times the current rate. We could have a 1 terabyte blockchain by the end of the year, and that would seriously hurt the number of people willing to download such a huge database, despite the benefits it brings. But the miners can just run Bitcoin all on their own, right?
You're looking for problems to solve with Segfart. And FUDing a few people with this disk size issue. If anything, the network is constrained by bandwidth and throughput (and did I mention ARTIFICIAL BLOCKSIZE CAPS), storage is the easiest problem to solve, if/when it happens.
Who said anything about increasing the blocksize 8 to 16 times? I guess you mean Unlimited. I support 2MB hard fork or nothing. I only run Unlimited to show my disdain for Segwit. It's such a hacked up bit of code.
And say you did have to download 1 TB every once in awhile, Even the cheapest VPS will give you 1-5TB of data transfer per month.

trading bitcoin to fiat or trading altcoins is good way for getting bitcoin short time, so everything depend on the method investing in bitcoin short or long term investments.
Bitcoin for me is a long term investment. Hold on it for a year or two if possible three. Rather than selling out of bitcoin at every market price dip. Most people saw bitcoin as a way to get rich quick, unfortunately it is not. Just put a small position in your bitcoin wallet for the long term. And because of its limited supply, it is more like the price will skyrocket in the next 3 years, so its worth the risk of saving bitcoin.
Trading is better than holding. It can give us boundless earning if we know what we are doing. Accumulating and savings only give us limited profit and that depends on how much we are holding and the conversion rate. With trading we can multiply our holding giving us exponential profit when the time comes we want to convert it all due to the increase of volume of our holdings as a result of successful trades.
Saving only gives you limited profit but for me it is one of the safest place to put your bitcoin. I feel more comfortable saving than doing trading actually. As long as I can see profit saving, then I will go with it specially for long term because you can truly gain huge profit it you are going to save it for as long as you can.
