At least you got a response. I put two orders just like yours (except ach instead or PayPal) through over a week ago. My trans still show pending eveni though the BTCs can be verified in the blockchain. Filed a support ticket over a week ago and not one response yet.
Same here. Tried to do a ACH withdrawal over a week ago and it still shows as pending. My first support request was met with them asking me what my zipzap account number was, but the instructions say nothing about using zipzap for ACH withdrawals, only deposits. I responded inquiring about this but got no response. Since then I've sent about 5 more emails that were all ignored.
I've used this service multiple times in the past flawlessly, albeit the last time being months ago.

Re: Official Newbie BitInstant Support Thread (Active Customer Support)
I've been trying to get support for transaction # ababd366-1656-479d-98af-9de21509cce6 for a week. I sent the proper amount of bitcoins to the address provided but it has been stuck as pending since I submitted it. I've sent various emails, with the only reply being:

Hey,
Do you have a 9 digit ZipZap acct. # ?
Thanks, -R.C. Hall BitInstant support manager
At this point I'd just like to get my bitcoins back if possible so I can use them elsewhere.
The best method of getting a resolution to your issue is to respond to the question that you have been asked thru your support ticket...
"Do you have a 9 digit ZipZap acct. # ?"
I did. I responded: "No, what is ZipZap? Do I need it to use bitinstant?"
But never got a reply. This was 6 days ago.

Which printers are you looking at? I've actually been doing a bit of research to buy one of these myself.

Re: What happens when the block reward halves to 25?
Does anyone know what perecentage of the coins being sold on a daily basis come from miners? If most of the coins being moved by the big exchanges are just miners cashing in their profits, the lower supply should cause the price to increase.
I've heard half the coins mined are sold right away..
50% are sold right away? So wouldn't that mean that halving the block reward should decrease the supply and increase the price by 25%. Or is my logic derp?
I use them as a PayPal substitute, buy and sell goods from overseas and locally

Recently cashed some out to AUD to buy a Galaxy s3
cant vote - none of the above listed
never owned a USD no real plans to....
I'm getting the galaxy s3 on the first. How do you like it so far?
On topic: I haven't cashed any of my coins yet. I keep seeing GLBSE pop up in these threads, so I might have to look deeper into that option.

This is exactly what my dad thinks bitcoin mining is.
"Well, someone has to be using your processing power for something immoral, like to hack bank info. That's where the money must come from."
I've tried to explain too many times.

The website still contains javascript that fucks up my browser I caught it using 6GB of RAM just now, and had to kill it - even though I got this window about stopping the script, it still froze the browser.
so whats considered the most trusted website for bitcoin exchange right now ?
I prefer Intersango. They seem to be very concerned with security, I've done quite some business with them already, and had nothing but positive experiences so far.
I know MtGox is huge. I assume they are popular for a reason. Any input regarding them?

As an avid internet poker player, before "black friday", I love that we have bitcoin poker rooms. We just need a little more traffic for it to be worthwile
