Only upper 8000er GForce (I think the lowest was 8800) and upwards support CUDA and OpenCL. So you need a newer Card if you realy want to mine on GPU (only makes sense for Scrypt/Scrypt-Jane Altcoins now).

it just looks like yet another bullshit coin logo. I like the Yak because it is different and etablished since a while. I can understand people liking the hexagonal logos, because they are also different than standard junk logos and you can recognise it quickly. But think about he new logo: When someone uses this logo in a shop that accepts lots of different coins, lots of s people will miss the YACoin Logo because it looks like every other coin. People will end up paying with bitcon, litecoin or whatever just because they didnt see that also YACoin is accepted. IMHO it is just dumb and doing no good to YACoin when this logo is used (especially if main pages like Yacoin.org and Yacointalk.com stick to the old logo).

well, than you lose about 5 MHash/s accepted shares per stick. CGminer also has a hardware error rate of about 1% like BEs that that are detected as ICA. BFGminer detecting them as BES drops your HW down to around 0.6%.
Î dont care about the fight between Luke-Jr and the CGminer team, because it is childish. For most things it is just a matter of taste if you use cgminer or bfgminer, as both are very good mining tools. But if you want to use USB BEs then it is a nobrainer that your only choice is bfgminer, because otherwise your mining income would be about 2% lower.

- liegt nur ein 3.5 A Netzteil bei (wollte ich ja durch ein stärkeres ersetzen)
- Die beiden Port Reihen liegen so dicht beisammen das man keine zwei Eruptoren (geschweige denn Red Fury) nebeneinander betreiben kann. Ohne USB Verlängerungskabel kann man also nur 7 von den 13 Ports nutzen.
- Als ich den dritten Erupter einsetzte ging nichts mehr.

after that yacoin usually crashes (at least it always did when I imported vanitygen adresses), but when you restart yacoin the new adress should be added to it

Oh well, I have to correct myself, you can add a new Block Erupter to a running BFGminer:
- Plug in the Erupter and wait until windows has configured the driver
- Press "M" to manage devices
- Press "+" to add a new device
- Type "all" to scan for new devices
Downside: it is detected as ICA instead of BES, so it has a higher HW and gives you less accepted shares. Restarting is the better solution

In longer term maybe some POS coins like PPCoin, Novacoin or YACoin might reach bitcoin level, but that is very unlikely. Other coins are even more unlikely. Bitcoin is widely accepted for bussiness, all other coins lack this acceptance and are therefore valued lower.

and the Hawaii will be even more usefull for scrypt jane (YACoin, YBCoin, ZCCoin, J-Coin, Copperbars, etc.) hashing because it has 4 GB RAM, which means its a smaller hashrate drop with every N factor change than the cards with less memory and CPUs. I will definitely get one.

Ich probiers einfach aus, wenn nicht geht das Ding wieder zurück  Schade daß die Orico P10 a.k.a. Tecknet Hubs nicht mehr zu bekommen sind, die laufen auf jeden Fall problemlos und reißen kein Loch in den Geldbeutel 

Kommt nur auf das Netzteil an daß man verwendet 
Ich habe die 13 Port Variante vor kurzem bestellt, mit meinem 7,5 A Netzteil sollte das problemlos laufen.

With a decent hashrate it makes sense to use load balancing to avoid bad luck of a single pool. With only one erupter it makes more sense to join only one of he big pools or to connect to a p2ppool.

Im not sure it will change much. With the last N change my 7790 lost 80% hashrate and my 7950 lost 40% hashrate, the funny thing is Im getting more coins than before. The CPU miners where also affected by the change (I guess 50% drop). IMHO the GPUs with lots of memory like the 7950 (3GB) are the winners, while normal GPU cards with 1GB RAM like the 7790 and CPUs are the losers. I guess it ill take another 1 or two N changes to hit those High End cards harder as well, but the small GPUs and CPUs are hit even worse with every N change. So I will probably get an AMD Hawaii (4 GB RAM, 512 bit memory Interface) for YACoin mining
