Something very fishy is going on with Crypterium.com
Im Holding an amount over 10.000USD in BTC on my Crpterium.com Wallet!
Since Friday! I received an email that my account is blocked because of „High risk“ deposit of Bitcoin.
The deposit was made 10-15 days prior That ominous email.
They mentioned that my deposit was made from or related to an coin mixer and that I should explain who and why the deposit was made.
I hold my btc always in wasabiwallet for years already and never faced any issues with any trading platform or wallet when i deposit from my wasabi wallet.
Actually the deposit wasn’t made directly from wasabi instead it was send from wasabi to another wallet and then deposited into my Crypterium wallet.
Withdraw of my Bitcoins are disabled and my card is disabled aswell!
I immediately wrote the crypterium security team an email and tried to find an phone contact so I can clear the situation as soon as possible. NO success to find any phone contact.
Account was blocked Friday and till today Monday didn’t get an reply from the security team.
The security team should be available 24/7 as stated on they website.
Phone support isn’t available.
It was 3 Times promissed that the security team will contact me, this never happend.
Im aware of blockchain analysis but I never expected that wallet provider will go that far.
I read the terms of service and privacy policies, nothing is mentioned there about something like that.
I will report as soon as I get an answer from crypterium.
Overall I have to say that I should be much more aware of the company crypterium there is no phone contact and the security team seems to be inactive over the weekend.
The reviews the last days showing that they are blocking account for no reason and never pay back the money or even BTC.

Security algorithms are in place to detect suspicious movement on accounts for our users safety. Sometimes proof of identity, white listing of the card or bank statements are required for this purpose. It is an automatic system. Also, as of January 10th, 2020, AML 5 directive requires that all crypto transfers be verified. KYC is now required for wallet to wallet transfers. Im prompt you here as an crypterium.com representativ to take a look in my case.
I never used my creditcard to fund my account, i only deposit funds by BTC so there souldnt be the problem.
And i need to repeat, my account was blocked because it was suspected that my bitcoin deposit was previously involved or related to mixing facilitys? - how u ensure that your bitcoin was never involved in something like that?
For me it looks like that your random account blocking and slow problem solving of your security team are definitely not comforting for your users as you can see in various feedbacks and reviews all over the internet.
I answered Friday immidiatly the email of that my account was blocked, the first answer i got yesterday (3 Days later ) from the security team and it was exactly one sentence " we will take a look in your case".
FACT IS : if crypterium decide to block your account you are helpless, there is no phone contact and the "security support" anwers rarley if even.
thats the status till today!! i send them 3 emails with my phone number that they should call me immidiatly, never get any response from them.

I have a feeling when bitcoin skyrockets and we have a bunch of new people with amounts over 10k, all hell will break loose.
Crypterium, when can we see our transaction statements? We need them for our accountants. You try to wave the security flag.
Where is the security of transactions we can't monitor or tell the difference. Where is the security to the independent workers who need
these statements for tax purposes. No security there.
But you do wish to secure 10k.

I managed to top up the card using the form. But I am still unable to withdraw from the card.
From what I Received from the support team was this:
the Crypterium Card UnionPay Edition is facing some technical difficulties that prevent our card program to work
our card partner is working on a solution, some features might work in a limited manner. Until things go back to normal, we understand this situation affects the quality of our services.
My app shows I have funds on the card itself. But when I go to take the money out, the ATM, it does not work.
I've already notified them of this. I am still waiting on a solution

This would be True if we are able to actually Top the cards to withdraw.
Unfortunately it has been since the beginning of this month. That we have not been able to TOP and withdraw from your cards.
I don't know if the mastercards that I have are not supported, but I can't even withdraw by sending to my mastercard.
May 2nd supposedly the app entered an Update. A few days ago the APP updated on my iphone and I am still not able to
top up my card to withdraw.
This has become a real inconvenience for me.
Unfortunately this is the only way I can cash out my bitcoins, because other services do not support my country.
Making this one of the ways to be able to exchange my bitcoins to Fiat. Very frustrating.

I really enjoy the service they provide. But the down times can be problematic to a few that would depend on the card.

On 02. of Mai I received an email, that card top-ups are temporarily not available due to maintenance.
It's 4 days now, I am not able to top up the card.
