April 27, 2020 update:

Bryce and AltMarket have been featured in part of an article in today's New York Times

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/27/technology/startups-sba-loans-backlash.html

http://acgimg.s3.amazonaws.com/Bryce-AltMarket-New-York-Times-2020-04-27.jpg

You'll note that not only does the NY Times vet the legitimacy of people they interview, but AltMarket was able to get approved for a loan through the SBA which is only available to legal, tax-paying businesses. Nice nod to ODBcoin, too.

In the meantime, the new Ethereum-derived/EVM-based Tao network is up and running and is in the process of final tests before it will be possible to swap your coins over to the new network.

Coming shortly after will be mobile wallets; more to come after that. Expect a series of further announcements.  Smiley

Did Bryce Weiner pay back his covid loan yet?

worth running a wallet to save some of the supply? or should I just leave my coins on qtrade and let em die?

You're asking if a failed scam has any potential of a revival. Pretty obvious the answer is "no, it does not."

You're better off mining Bitconnect.

It is difficult to predict the future of any technology, let alone something as complex and volatile as Bitcoin. However, it is worth noting that Bitcoin has been around for over a decade and has shown remarkable resilience despite facing many challenges and obstacles. As with any new technology, there will likely be ups and downs, but the future of Bitcoin looks promising overall.

if craigh is satoshi then why nobody beleive him?
Except for those who have understood that CSW is Satoshi. For many other people with 'crypto-committed' economic interests it is sometimes easier to close your eyes when you really refuse to see that you can lose everything.

For other people you really need special anti troll, anti fud, anti scam glasses, like this one:

Everyone should soon be able to see more clearly as soon as Craig decides to do so or maybe the court requires him to prove it 🍿

Why did you break the law the make this pictures? Its a stock image from shutterstock:

Re: Is this the Ethereum killer?

Why do people fail to recognize such a clear pattern as what happens with 'ETH-Killers' that are of any significance: they end up contributing to ETH as a second layer solution. The truth of the matter is there is a huge ecosystem which is dependent on the success of the Ethereum Network in the long term and thus it will not be going away any time soon

Why are

BSV transactions way down
Active addresses way down

and

Median transaction values way up?

Check the stats for yourselfs: https://bitinfocharts.com/bitcoin%20sv/

Their bots stopped spamming this thread around the time things at BSV started to shut down.

Is BSV finally collapsing?

Crypto telegram groups is the best choice for private channels. I used ejabberd 4.1 (also as the second best choice) and may have been using 4.0.x. Not sure what version of any of the chat clients you used or if you could even get the right version with you or it just was not available. You can use irc.freenode.net, TeamSpeak, or you could use virc and see if it is working in your local IRC network. If you use it in IRC, it does not need to be running and you could even pull the logs when you start the nagios instance. I used virc on Linux as it has end to end support for VNC remote connections.

Making money from home with cryptocurrency: it's a good time to be a cryptocurrency trader

The popularity of Bitcoin has soared over the last couple of years, but it's not uncommon to encounter its critics. A closer look at Bitcoin's price fluctuations is enough to raise doubts about the integrity of its monetary system.

And Bitcoin isn't the only cryptocurrency getting a lot of attention in our world. According to news reports, it may soon be time for crypto-enthusiasts to start investing in completely new financial instruments, like decentralized virtual goods.

The blockchain industry's quality assurance movement needs to be part of their product strategy. All bitcoin wallets need to be organized on a series of ledgers so that each individual user is governed by the one most appropriate to her specific situation. And just because your protocol (or application) has a system for gatekeepers does not mean that you will make it so easy for bad actors to manipulate your infrastructure.

As Bitpay and Blockchain.info are reporting, the funds in the wallets that may be lost or stolen due to a single or serious series of events are "hard" to recover. A terrorist attack could wipe out the Bitcoin network; a flood could flood the network; a software glitch could flood the network; a programmer's negligence could flood the network,

Re: Check Liquidity Before you invest
by

Liquidity is important in any market because you do not want a critical shortage, as opposed to a general shortage, to sink your investment. For this reason, we established an initial target on December 3, 2016 for ETH in order to begin facilitating a DAO token sale on November 15, 2016. For this purpose, we conducted a scaling exercise to increase the network capacity so as to be able to facilitate the DAO token sale on November 15.

The DAO token sale was launched on November 17, 2016, and we observed an immediate spike in the price of ETH. For the first hour, it was fluctuating around $900–1000. As the volume increased, the price stabilized at approximately $600.

Conducting arbitrage with cryptocurrency is actually quite simple. Here's a guide that walks you through the whole process.

You will need to install the libcurl library from the site as well as the libsodium library, though you don't need both.

Install Node.js

There are two ways to install Node.js:

Installing from source and installing the CLI (from the Download section of the website) Using the Node.js Express installation

Note: I don't personally recommend to install Node.js via the official release path as it seems to come pre-installed with the software that handles virtually all your dependencies.

Insider trading in cryptocurrency isn't limited to cryptocurrency stocks. The futures market has also been a big contributor to blockchain value spikes. In fact, one of the biggest purchases in the over-the-counter (OTC) derivatives market is bitcoin futures.

The Pimco Total Return Fund (TMTCF) has been one of the largest managers in the market. The company is already trading bitcoin futures. The fund has traded around 3,000 BTC at the beginning of the year. In July, the futures contract began trading at $40,000 per contract. However, prices have fallen to just over $30,000.

I think the price of Ethereum is going to go up and up and up again. On one hand, I think it's a grand experiment in computer science, but on the other hand, it's a thing that won't last too long. People think it's going to be this big thing. But I don't think people have fully grasped that reality yet. I just hope that something happens before all of that goes

Tokenization of digital items in the near future, will there be a way to define how each of those tokens will be used? For example, if I'm creating a club, will I be able to decide how I would distribute tokens within my club? Answering those questions will allow digital wallet users to track their purchases through a multi-currency wallet, to enable a point of purchases for merchants to charge fees and maximize revenue

Cryptocurrency scams are different from those where good intentions are the only driving factor. Even a centralized crypto-asset or bank account will need additional security steps. An even worse deal of fraud involves selling cryptocurrencies as 'investment products' on over-the-counter markets.

Additionally, crypto-entrepreneurs are generally ignorant of the dangers. The supposed convenience and security of 'investing' in cryptocurrencies do not prove that the scheme is free of risk. Crypto investing is like an arms race in a pit of steelworks. To a skilled industrialist, either the process of mass production is more efficient, or it must be cheaper, or people must be taught the real reason why they need their products.

In this age, it's important to retain some degree of financial privacy because the online world is littered with companies with the intent to sell your personal data to advertisers and government agencies.

It can also be inconvenient to be personally tracked online, even if the site you are visiting is not taking any personal information, and you have opted in to not be tracked.

There are some choices you can make.

Disconnect from all online services that require personal information on both sides

If you've opted in, do not opt out.

The best long-term investment strategy is understanding the investment cycle.

Short-term gains help you realize your long-term goals.

Stay focused on our mission, value propositions and brand.

Keep your growth fun.

Test out new ideas, learn from your peers and new experiences.

Be open-minded and have fun while learning new things.

Accomplish your own goals, it's as simple as that.
