Hard evidence or not, during april of 2021 states with no mask mandates like Texas, Georgia, South dakota, Tennessee, Mississippi etc it can be seen clearly that the "flattening" of the case curve happened much earlier and faster. New Jersey and New York saw their cases stay high much later into spring / summer. All i said was that masks seem to have little effect if you compare mandate states with non mandate states, and this can be seen by just looking at the case curves of these states, anyone can check it out, its public data. I am not saying it is the masks that works or not, just that it is strange that there is no visible effect of these mandates ergo they are not backed by data.

1. I would not use a political organisation with funding from pharma companies and / or investors therein as a source of information.
2. 1918 was a disaster, not sure masks did much good there, especially when considering most died of secondary bacterial infections which masks could actually prevent hmm again strange...
3. Masks worn during operations is not intended to stop airborne viruses but droplets rather and the risk of bacterial infections that comes with droplets. If doctors operated during an infection with an airborne virus i would argue that the patient could be infected just as well with or without and open wound.

I am qualified, I would say 5 years of biochemistry and engineering studies resulting in a M.sc in protein science and yeah viruses are essentially proteins with some RNA or DNa inside .. I am not arguing that the mask could not work in theory or in a very controlled environment, for preventing droplets to spreading in the air, to stop a single virus is impossible for simple N/M 95/94 masks and not what they are designed to do.
I am saying masks SEEM to have no effect on the spread in society if you compare mask mandate schools and states with non mandate schools and states. It even seems like mask mandate states are worse off, and i said strange.
I would guess that masks are used poorly and that masked citizens think they are protected more than they actually are, which leads to unnecessary risk behavior.

Mask mandate states show absolutely no reduction in cases, schools with mask mandates show no lower case count compared to no mask schools, they have literally 0 effect on the state of covid it seems. Strange indeed.

When reading about the project I find many aspects interesting, especially the decentralized web server or hosting platfor as it is called. Many types of hosting services have started to censur users with a certain type of content, which is a large threat to free speach according to me. If some topics or opinions get de-hosted, we are in a tricky situation. Besides this, the fundamental tech looks strong and the community looks big and focused on taking the project to new hights

Good to see a protocol that actually uses much less energy compared to ETH / BTC since energy consumption is a hot topic today.

I´ve read countless articles about bitcoin / eth and how they waste energy and when looking at the political climate, things like green new deal, UN agendas for lower emission, innovate to 0 emission by 2050 etc etc comes up. Initiatives like this sure will cause many to look at older PoW cryptos with an evil eye and it also provides an good reason for anti crypto actors to work against them.

Along with cheaper / faster transactions and solidity support, the energy consumption situation provides a strong reasons to run your dApps at Helios protocol instead of ETH and I think it would be smart in a future with hard competition. I, sadly, have not made any dApp my self but if i did, I would try running it at the helios test net and see how it preforms, or I might get left behind.

Yeah not much to run against atm but they will throw in some joker, like Michelle Obama or perhaps Oprah haha or even Hillary might try to run again but that would be a sad story i guess!

I recently started to buy BTC dont want to average up to much and been shorting it as well. It´s often wise to hedge and this was a good year of shorting! I have 10% of my BTC on bitmex for shorting and been withdrawing a lot too keep it at 10%. If i get liquidated now around 4300 we should have seen the bottom right ? but who knows!

I agree especially with point 5, (and 2, its extremely flawed and corrupt, something that a open ledger will prevent in part)there are huge problems with bonds as inflation rages on and interest are increased, they will just have useless or even negative yield compared to other assets. Gold sure is useful in electronics but still comes with some Issues, storage and the possibility to transact, which bitcoin solves.
Gold will still be used in electronics and increasingly in medicine I've realized, things that bitcoin never can be. Both precious metals and digital currencies serve a strong purpose in tackling of the coming financial problems.

I am very bullish long term even if the system will fight back, release their own centralized digital currencies etc, Bitcoin is here for a reason, a reason that is stronger now then ever, we will prevail.

Yeah the price has been great, didn¨t watch it for a while and it use to be 10 sat, next time i checked it was at 50 . Seems the price is solid as you say and flattening out around 28-30 sats, still cheap!

Capitalism is not a good force, at least not any longer. It causes some to buy up medical companies with good cures and kill the medicine, just to protect older patents which has not yielded profit yet, money > medicine. Some also prevent curing dieases while there are expensive medicines that slows a disease down, money > life. We frac, use tar sand, drill oil at sea and devastate rain forests to export meat, money > environment. We work and work and most of the tax money goes to paying national dept interest and the military sector, money devastates our planet and creates a war machine to protect it. We must have better goals then this, when money is the goal, we only enter a state of cyclical consumption, things are simply made and thrown away over and over. A good society should not behave like this, it should stagnate and be maintained like anything else that has been created to its optimal state.

When privatization hit the health care sector and schools in my country it went to shit right away. Rich areas got better schools and hospitals instantly, leaving large groups with few teachers  and long health care waiting times in the poorer and more overpopulated areas.
Capitalism leads to corruption and violence on a grand scale. There is no dam room to start your own company, if 3 billion did that right now do you think they will have costumers??? Do you thing the system can support everyone to get rich from working?
NO, it is designed to make very few very rich and put the rest in day labor, going from pay check to pay check, your story is great but this feat can only be achieved by a very few, the economy is NOT growing, it is impossible for a company to grow without another LOOSING value, its just quick maths, simple facts

Resources today is being used to profit, even water are being used to make nice cloths and produce meat, while many have none to DRINK. This is insane, waste away water to create products that only a few % of humanity can afford or enjoy, when we run out of clean water, is capitalism still good? when we have no rain forests and massive amounts of pollution due to capitalistic interests and our atmosphere goes to crap, is it still good?

Anyhow capitalism will be what destroys the earth, we already behave like a virus for the earth and we are growing fast in numbers while the economy is stagnated = more poverty + depletion of resources.

I've actually never been scammed in the crypto space, only when buying pot haha But on discord i get messages 10 times a day asking for help to withdraw btc.. They offer me 0.1 btc for the help, how generous!
I am very carefull though, getting scammed is not an option so i never respond to any users i don't know or use websites / apps that could be unsafe. Oh I actually lost some cash invested 100 dollar in bitconnect but I think i made profit prior to loosing what was left in the acc. But I knew all along it would close down as soon as the market corrected so i wouldn't regard it as being scammed!
