Re: 💜 [ONION] DeepOnion 💜 Modern Privacy with Real Use Cases 💜 DeepOnion News
by
VackFromOhm

Delisted from ONLY trustworthy exchange and left with bunch of potentail scam ones
Price tanked down from 0.20 cents to 0.05 cents and keeps going down
Community is a shell of its former self
Uninspired and uneffective attempts to get listed on good exchanges with NO chances to do so since lots of other projects have far BIGGER community and support
Potential free advertisement ''even if we won't succeed, others will see DeepOnion and surely will give it a try!'' is worthless since DeepOnion doesn't stand out at all amongst other projects since not only it does not offer NOTHING comeptitive, amount of people that actually use DeepOnion is so small compared to other projects that it is simply not attractive to use so medicore at best coin
Dev(s) refuse to use the founds to finally list the coin on proper exchange and do some effective marketing to build trust despite knowing that it is THE ONLY way at this point after DeepOnion reputation has been tarnished and dragged through the mud - accusations threads, bitcointalk merit manipulations and account trading, censorship (look how many posts were deleted in this topic), blatant propaganda full Russia style, anonymous devs who can at any time dump and run away with your money, attempts to manipulate google search results to get rid of uncomfortable for you voices in public space (after googling deeponion the first thing to show up was DeepOnion SCAM thread that you decided to ignore and dig in search results instead of addressing it) - the list can go on and on.
DeepOnion is not a scam because they never asked for a payment and never sold anything to anyone. Instead they gave away more than 10 million coins to the public for free.
Airdrop distribution: https://deeponion.org/airdropslog.php
Airdrop Statistics: https://blockstats.pw/deeponion/
DeepOnion is still active with news and updates:
https://deeponion.org/community/forums/deeponion-news.11/
The core team were transparent since the beginning and delivered on all promises. If you assumed something on your own and later found you were wrong then it's your own fault.
Roadmap: https://deeponion.org/roadmap.html

It's easy to spew statements without proofs. There are more than 3 thousand projects with zero trading volume yet you're here acting all authentic with that nickname of yours. As usual you'll post a long article as a reply to prove your point because you are sore for some reason  Tongue.

1. Use the funds to list DeepOnion on trusted and reliable exchange (Kraken, Binance etc.) and launch at the same time strong marketing campaign to bring as many users to the coin as possible
2. Stop being anonymous
3. Stop censoring this thread and your forum
4. Stop engaging in incredibly unprofessional and reputation/trust damaging activity
5. Start being professional and sensible instead of acting like deceptive crooks screaming ''TRUST IN THE PROJECT, BAD THINGS HAPPENING TO US IS A GOOD THING ACTUALLY''

Otherwise watch how this miserably handled projects sinks. Assuming it is not too late by now.
If you are so confident about your plan then create your own project instead of spamming, trolling and spreading false information.

As a member of the deeponion community forum since August 2017, I can't say that he's wrong. I think maybe if ya'll looked at posts like this with an open mind about realizing how something must be wrong, otherwise we'd be top 100, some real changes could happen. Some big mistakes were made from the times with the super fake voting and trading volume. Books were obviously cooked if you looked at the orderbook on the exchanges before being delisted. I sold awhile ago because there was a lack of trust and I wish every day I sold sooner. I gave up tens of thousands of dollars of profit because I believed in you guys to turn it around and it just never happened. Way too much fake positivity from anonymous cartoon characters. Now this bitcointalk forum post has almost 2,000 pages of posts but an empty community and barely 1BTC daily trading volume. I personally think @TroubleBuddy raised some good points.

I wish you all the best.

Re: The bulls will run Q4 2018. Thoughts?
by
VackFromOhm
on 22/09/2018, 08:06:17 UTC
I think this year's expected Bull will not come. Maybe 2019! This year continues to be a very bad year for Bitcoin and Ethereum. Maybe at the end of the year the market will rise slightly but the expected bull may not come.

This makes the most sense to me. It's great to be hopeful and wish that the bulls would come back but we have such a negative pressure on the market for people to sell as soon as they have the opportunity to get back the money they invested. It's kind of depressing, but a quote comes to mind:

“The pain I feel now is the happiness I had before. That's the deal.”

Better sell everything, hurry up and exit all the crypto markets right NOW!!!!!  Bitcoin is going to ZERO and all altcoins and tokens will disappear into a black hole!!!

I think you are very much mistaken and will soon regret your words... Bitcoin and other coins have a good future and soon we will see it...

LOL that was clearly sarcasm, both my post and the one that I was quoting. Get real dude, why would I be here on a bitcoin discussion forum if I thought bitcoin was going to die?  Huh Grin

Re: IS CRYPTOJACKING PREVENTABLE?
by
VackFromOhm
on 18/09/2018, 15:58:41 UTC
Many peoples have been affected by cryptojacking in the past and still getting in the trap of the scammers. It's better to avoid faucets and cloud mining sites as this site's have the settings to mine cryptocurrency in the background which we don't realise early. Good and informative post OP keep up the good work.
Yeah, I hadn't considered that faucets would be likely to do this cryptojacking thing. First places that come to mind for me are torrenting sites, I think there might have been a thing about the pirate Bay doing crypto mining instead of advertisements. I'm not sure which I prefer, considering the advertisements there are awful and in the way of browsing all the time.

Re: There is no need to panic!!!!!

I think developers have to start working on mass adoption of their coins, once they have done that, everything will be much easier. Now the problem is that maybe a 10% know or heard about bitcoin at least once, but probably less than 1% is active in the crypto community learning about it and maybe investing in some cryptocurrency.
Actually, that number is higher than you think. Check out this infographic, where about 10% of people have invested:
https://www.statista.com/chart/15137/how-many-consumers-own-cryptocurrency/
I think a ton of people heard about crypto, but we're entering a new investment phase for smaller people with this price drop which makes a lot of sense. Blockchain will live on whether or not bitcoin rises again in price.

Re: Can you name or list Altcoin worth to HODL.

I'm not sure what you're expecting for this thread except for people to talk about what coins they're holding / a part of, lol. But sure, I'll go ahead and shill one of my coins, since you asked.

Deeponion is pretty cool. They've been around just over  a year and released a ton of awesome updates. They had a 40-week airdrop, and now are updating their entire code base for future updates. It's natively integrated with Tor and has stealth addresses- stealth addresses might change in the future for something better.
I know there are coins out there with more proven teams and more tech integrated, but it's been really cool to be a part of that community and watch the devs build everything. I've had my fun adventures being a part of it, so take a look or don't, I just wanted to share. Links in my signature are a good place to start. See you around!

Re: Quality over Quantity in the bounty game
by
VackFromOhm
on 17/09/2018, 15:08:34 UTC
Last week I started a new way of doing bounties.  Quality over quantity.  I decided I was going to research the projects before I got involved very thoroughly.  I wanted to check the project team.  See if the idea was good and original.  I wanted to check everythign out before I spent any more time doing these damn bounties for shit projects and scams.

I monitor every project that hits this board (which is a ton).  Guess how many bounties I have entered thus far?  ZERO.  They are all absolute shit.

I ask you guys to research before you enter your next bounty and ask yourself this question.  Is this project really worth it or am I wasting my time?
What are your criteria and guidelines and how did you come to that assessment and what makes your current signature better than the others or stand out, in my experiences some projects that I thought will not deliver, turn out to be a great project you should dig deep.

I don't think we're going to be seeing this person's methods for evaluating bounties anytime soon! In the end, I think people get to evaluate the projects by their own standards and some will be happy with what others wouldn't be.

Re: Bull Market has come?
by
VackFromOhm
on 17/09/2018, 14:56:58 UTC
Bitcoin breaks $8,000 and still increases every hour. The whole market, altcoins are also  green and solid growth. This is the best new today for crypto enthusiastic. I think that the Bull Market has come. What do you think?

Many people are hoping and wanting of the green market for this year end since we still have enough  time to perform whatever activities needed in order to make  this bull run happen.
Even though there's still time theoretically for a bullrun to occur, I highly doubt that there will be. There are absolutely so many people who bought way too high and are just holding out to sell for the first jump in price, I think we already saw something evident of that a little while ago. We need to get through all those people first, then we have a chance. Realistically, we're so far from ATH that I think we're going to take a while to get back up, but who knows! This is crypto.

Re: which is best coin for long term hold?
by
VackFromOhm
on 02/06/2018, 23:25:34 UTC
Bitcoin has proven me that its the best long term hold for crypto.

And if you are looking for mid term hold coins, theres many of it. You can take a peek on the coinmarketcap and see to it what coins are having a not so good in their long run.

Agree with this person, bitcoin is the only one that will lead the pack in terms of a rebound from this current market trend. Bitcoin will follow otherwise.

Re: We do not need government and bank any more
by
VackFromOhm
on 21/04/2018, 06:54:12 UTC
With the fast developing blockchain technology, more and more people are getting involved in the blockchain world. The human being has been evolving so many years, we went through the period of the primitive society, the agricultural revolution, the industrial revolution, and the Internet revolution. It's time to change, we now need to enter a new era, a decentralized era, we got to trust each other with the technology, but not with the third parties. Government is third parties, the bank is third parties, all the giant company are third parties. Why they want to hinder the development of blockchain or ICO. Because they are afraid, there are no more people they can get benefit from.

I couldn't agree with you more. I think that we're going to see a lot more fightback from the banking system especially as they slowly realize that the age of cryptocurrency is going to take them by storm and that we're going to be able to truly take back our currency for the people.

Re: Ethereum TO $400 AGAIN
by
VackFromOhm
on 30/03/2018, 01:07:48 UTC
Ouch, this is absolutely brutal right now. It's alright, this just means that the market is rearing its head to get back into building up that more valued marketcap again. The way I see it, we're still at least 500 Billion dollars short of where this entire market should be valued, given that we probably lost a bunch of those traders last year as the funds redistributed back into the hands of the holders.

Re: Let's Keep It Crypto
by
VackFromOhm
on 18/03/2018, 01:30:22 UTC
I hope so too.
It's hard to think that the crypto world is being populated and yet it is being brought down. It can be seen in plain view. They want a piece of it.  Grin
If that is the case then it would be better to stay at a minimal number rather than getting more investors coming in. But I guess it wont happen, looks like the crypto world is the apple of the eye of the governments now. Why not? There is shitload of money inside it and where there is money, there is also the greedy government following it saying: "You cannot be free!"
I've now been in crypto trading for just over a year now, and I have to say that I can completely understand where you all are coming from, especially after being one of my few friends that are still in this for the long run, though the rest of them left after not being able to handle the volatility.

While there is a shitload of money of money in this, it's a hard place to put your money, and that's going to always have that negative pressure on the market as long as we have this huge influx of new users each year. At least, imo.

The OP makes a really good point in that the best case scenario means that the government gets involved enough for us to be protected, but not Orwellian involved. Unfortunately, it'll probably spiral out of our control and into the government's with their own blockchains, and we'll have to rely on the O.G. coins for us to keep our privacy and our right to truly own our own money.

Re: how many time do u spend with ICOs?
by
VackFromOhm
on 15/03/2018, 02:03:21 UTC
I really wonder that the time u spend..

It depends on the project.
At first, I look at the website and if that checks out, I start reading the whitepaper and researching the team.
Like, are the team members real people who are what they are advertised as on the homepage?
Do the team members have personal social media accounts which confirm that they are involved in the project?

Is the whitepaper written in a good manner?
Do the token economics make sense, so not too much premine and not too many coins held back for sketchy reasons?
Are the projected numbers viable or do they say something like "we will grow 100% each month after ICO"?
Do they have a roadmap and how detailed and believable is it?

So this complete process sure is time intensive.
When I am screening for new ICOs I spend about 30mins on the initial stage.
Afterward, it differs because of factors like length and complexity of whitepaper, the number of team members I have to research and if applicable additional knowledge of targeted industries I have to obtain to assess the ICO proposal better.

So if it is a complex project that I want to invest in it takes me probably more than 10 hours.
I just like to know WHAT I throw my money at Smiley
This person definitely knows what to do with their time, I see so much of what I do in here and I'm glad to see that other people take their ICO investing so seriously! It's almost ridiculous sometimes how willing people are to just throw their money at a project, without even looking at the team comprising it or reading more than the glossary of the whitepaper  Grin

I would like to comment though, I'm not too worried about grammar in the whitepaper because so much of the crypto community comes from around the world, and more often than not English is not their first language, but your comments on the content of the whitepaper are spot on.

You probably just can't see it- though if you're using MEW instead of Metamask, it's not impossible that your private key was stolen. Good luck!

hi folks I want to warn all the participants in the airdrops There are a bunch of scammers They steal the privet key of myetherwallet i dont know how they do that but i think by sending you an email and when you check the email and click on it they can access to all the file in your pc and steal the key i dont know how that works i'm not an expert so don't put any of the private key in the computer or in your phones .
I  always try to be careful when I sign up for airdrops, and usually use those better browsers like Firefox instead of Chrome so that the scammers can't get any of my info from backend autofill forms, which might be what you're talking about. Thanks for the heads up!

by
VackFromOhm
on 28/02/2018, 05:54:14 UTC
Going off of your edit and assuming you're talking about ICOs, I think that there definitely would be a small market correction, then a surge as more of the people that believe in crypto would buy it up. It would definitely saturate the market with more scams, though, because even less of them would be able to give their identities away if they did live in the U.S. Luckily, I don't see this happening any time soon! Cheers!

Re: Is a million dollars possible?
by
VackFromOhm
on 26/02/2018, 07:18:42 UTC
Definitely possible, but not in under a few years unless you are amazingly lucky. You buy a coin at the very beginning of its lifetime and hodl for dear life. Someone who bought Ethereum years ago would never have to worry about what their next meal is going to be paid with - millionaire or not, I think that's what we're all hoping for!
