Lending, corrowing, staking, and yield farming all in one.

I was reading about a project named MANTRA recently, according to what I read it is  "a digital currency created to offer secure and anonymous transactions", I mean that's every cryptocurrency ever, lol. The main reason why people started getting attracted to crypto was the privacy and decentralization. I just really found that bit funny. Still, it's a pretty nice project though, it offers decentralized lending and borrowing, staking, yield farming and the likes, it might seem like nothing much but the project was quite interesting to that especially with the suddenly increasing popularity of the project's token. If anyone has heard of this token I'd appreciate some more info, TQ.

Re: Altcoins that you trust most

There are thousands of altcoins in crypto market and each of coin has investors! Cause people have different choice from one to another.  People even invest in shitcoin to get rich quickly. So what are the names of your most 5 invested altcoins that you are holding or would like to invest soon?? Those are my choice
1. ETH
2. BNB
3. Arbitrum
4. Cake
5. ApeCoin

Mine is
1. BTC
2. BGB (undervalued at $1 still got lot of potential to show off. Broken ATHs 5 times in a roll)
3. ICP
4. BCH
5. HOLD
It's crazy that since then, BGB has passed $1 and it reached an ATH of 1.7. The token does have a lot of potential to go far especially now that they created a community for holders. I joined recently when I saw free BGB upon joining, lol https://x.com/bitgetglobal/status/1851922110874042870?s=19. It's pretty nice actually, apart from giveaways I don't know what else the purpose of the community is though.

Is this a new development for exchnage tokens?

There's no surprise when you see a token with a huge community from its inception even before it gains popularity and listings but it was really weird seeing a token getting a token after reaching $1 from 0.05. I was quite amused when I saw a community was being created for BGB holders and what's more amusing is that it's for people holding 100 BGB and above, they are even offering quite a huge amount of free tokens. Now that begs the question, why? Why give so much to create a separate community for an exchange token and what benefit does it bring?

Buying in early or after a listing?
by
Victor4
on 23/11/2024, 19:44:08 UTC
I had a debate with a friend about which is better, purchasing a token new token before its listing on an exchange or the moment it gets listed.

I feel like purchasing a token before the listing gives much more space for profit, but he mentioned that there's also a huge risk of not knowing whether it will end up getting listed and that was a fair point. He also raised the point that buying tokens after their listing was safer, but even if it's true that it holds less profit potential than the former, it also has huge potential if it gets listed on a top exchange.

He mentioned a couple of tokens that got listed on certain exchanges, mostly the top exchanges like Binance, Bybit and Bitget and those tokens experienced pumps experienced massive pumps. The one I remembered was PNUT he said it was up 17x. He made good points but I'd rather table it here, what do you guys think?

I'm honestly just going with the flow since the amount of points I have is nothing impressive but that doesn't mean I'm not excited for the listing, quite the opposite actually. As the listing approaches, we should be seeing more events like the Bitget task on the Major bot that I'll be able to use to increase my MAJOR and it's even better since the pre-market price is just amazing, I really want to see how things will turn out on the 28th and hopefully I'll get a good share from the Major bot tasks.

It's not going to be easy but it is definitely possible. This is even the best time to buy....the best time has passed but this is the next best time, lol. The event also is interesting considering it's only for 7 days. That's on Bitget, right? I'll look into it a little bit first though.

It's a bit too far from DOGE but a pump is not a distant dream. Besides, I'm not the only one who thinks this way. Some people have mentioned it on Twitter and some other forums, I also saw that Bitget is starting something called a PEPE carnival and from the PEPE prize pool being offered, I can say PEPE is on a good start for this meme season.

What's the probability of finding the next PNUT?
by

on 20/11/2024, 16:20:50 UTC
With the recent meme coins doing so well no one can blame me for putting so much hope in a meme coin. Not for long-term investment, of course but for good profit nonetheless especially if it ends up like PNUT. I saw a meme of interest named ELIZA, I don't have much on it but it seems to be quite community centered, I'd appreciate a reply from someone who knows more about the token since it's quite new. TQ

Why are Sol meme coins doing the best now?
by
Victor4
on 19/11/2024, 09:03:41 UTC
The surging market is really doing wonders for memecoins. Just saw a Sol memecoin named RIFSOL, based on the concept of decentralized science (DeSci). I'm 70% sure that if this wasn't meme season that memecoin would have faded into obscurity the moment it was listed but surprisingly enough this memecoin is doing quite well. I don't know if there's something about this memecoin that I don't know about or it's just pumping due to the meme season, thoughts?

It might be because I don't fully understand the full extent of the unique name that's being said so I will read more about it later but at first glance it just seems like another way to sell NFTS now in the form of Usernames. Still, it seems like it's not a bad token to check out especially now when it's getting a reset, I'll read more about first and only then can I make that decision but it does sound like the concept has some potential.

The trading volume of alts has doubled these past few days!!
by

on 16/11/2024, 18:30:35 UTC
With BTC being bullish and other alt and memecoins following I'm just amazed. It's probably because I haven't witnessed a bull run since I started trading and all I've heard are stories but this...this is really massive. My portfolio has really expanded and grown in just a few days and funny enough most of the growth is in memecoins. On exchanges I'm seeing the trading volume of alts reaching greater heights than I've ever seen before and it's just amusing me still, for those who have seen the bull runs, how high have you seen trading volumes go?

Re: How do people make millions with memcoins

Hahaha, that's just how memes are. They have no real substance but they deal with the hype. When a particular phrase or word is trending, there is no better time to make a memecoin. I saw the one about FRED, I think it was around the same time that PNUT was euthanized so I was already expecting a memecoin to follow so I really wasn't surprised when I saw it's listing announcement on Bitget lol. It's just how thing work now.

It does sound promising especially with the payment abstraction which makes on chain transactions easier but it's still too soon to tell. Don't get me wrong, it has massive potential but it's just too soon to tell how far they will go in solving both distribution and fragmentation issues while also enabling mainstream adoption. Only time will tell.

It's very impressive from what I've heard of it has pretty strong selling points to attract stakers like the loyalty points and the flexibility it offers, so it does fare well when compared to standard staking methods still at the same time, it's not at the top of the staking chain just above average imo.

Will this gamefi project completely eliminate the problem of ads?
by
Victor4
on 17/10/2024, 17:38:08 UTC
Just saw another interesting gamefi project today named CROS https://www.cros.world/ , I noticed it when I saw they were launching a new token. What exactly makes it interesting? That's because the project's platform is one for In-game ads. I was really surprised when I saw when I saw In-game ads since it was my first time hearing about such a concept after some research, though I was able to get the general idea of it.

So for people that play games or even do anything on the internet, we know how annoying it is to be suddenly hit by ads and worse, being forced to watch it. So apparently, this project helps developers " to monetize their games by seamlessly incorporating ads that are integral to gameplay" Ngl, I was pretty impressed with the idea. It works for both ends of games, the developers and the consumers. Still, I'd like to hear from you guys have you heard of this project and it's token, if you have please give some more clarification to the matter. Tq

What qualifies an animal to be a MEME coin mascot
by
Victor4
on 11/10/2024, 20:40:18 UTC
It seems like animal meme coins are the popular trend these days with most circling around DOGE but even then, there's the occasional animal Meme coin that has no relation to DOGE but what I do wonder is what qualifies an animal to be a meme coin mascot. If it was popularity, Harambe would have a meme coin...probably does. Still, I'm wondering about this because I saw one Eth meme coin with a Hippo mascot named MOODENETH https://moodeng.vip/. It probably has a backstory I'm not aware of but it still begs the question of if anyone can just randomly create a meme coin cause I should probably create one for my Dog lol. Anyway, I'd like to hear what you guys think.

Re: What's Fuss About BTC-FI Projects?
by
Victor4
on 11/10/2024, 18:33:39 UTC
BTC has long been the king, more of a digital gold standard for security and decentralization. It has been seen as a store of value, I agree. Then sometime last year there began a buzz around Bitcoin ordinals, CORE network activities towards bitcoin hash delegated to enhance security, and BTC staking becoming possible. Now with the emergence of BTC-FI launchpad pioneered by OGLong project, would buidlers and devs now prefer working with bitcoin dApps than other existing alternatives? How would it affect Bitcoin adoption and the expected bull?

I believe the Bitcoin ecosystem will soon revive. I’ve always been bullish on BRC-20 since it’s built on Bitcoin. With Coinbase planning to add Runes, I think we’ll see FOMO from various exchanges. That said, OGLG’s long-term outlook is bullish. Being the first community token in the BTCFi space with a hybrid-culture narrative, it’s going to set a trend in the market for true decentralization.
Well while I've been quite neutral about BRC-20 tokens, you do make a good point about FOMO being created among exchanges. The OGLG you mentioned did just get listed on the Bitget exchange and although the price is quite low, it does have a decent price trend so it has a bit of potential but saying it's going to set a trend is a bit of a stretch for me. There's a possibility of it fading into obscurity.

Re: How can exchanges evolve better?
by
Victor4
on 21/09/2024, 16:03:54 UTC
Time leads to change in everything, so it's possible that some exchanges will reach the same level as Binance in the coming years. As long as these platforms keep improving and remain appealing to beginners, their growth is likely. Most users don’t switch exchanges unless there’s an issue with their current one, which is why attracting new users is important.

Bitget has been doing fairly well, particularly with their recent anniversary events. These events have been timed with the Hamster listing, a period when more newcomers are entering the crypto space. The rewards being offered are attractive even to experienced users, showing that the focus is on drawing in new users, which seems like a reasonable strategy.

Re: What's next for $DOGS?
by

It's expected that the team won't want the DOGS hype to die down and another factor we should look at is that the exchanges that Listed DOGS won't want it to die down either After all, the biggest commodity is attention and in this case hype. I think I made a similar post about this with an example of an event here that  Bitget created to utilize the hype. Their choice of rewards were DOGS and TONCOIN in pretty high quantity which were in pretty high quantity, it's a pretty clever marketing tactic considering the present hype the TON ecosystem is driving.
