I thought the same thing a few months ago, the truth is that it is a complicated issue due to the massification of channels on youtube. It is a lot of work and a lot of perseverance.
But if you want to do it altruistically, you like to edit, you have time and you feel like it.... Go ahead.

^^^ But the question is. are animal feelings only complex computer (brain) responses? Or do they somehow have emotions. The OP tests suggest that there is far less emotion than owners might think.

Cool

But, in humans, feelings are not brain responses? every emotion is produced by a brain. The only difference between us and dogs is that we are aware of this emotion and are able to express it verbally.

Do you think that a shrimp, a fish or a mosquito feel emotions? I don't think so. But I think a dog does have emotions, because it shows them quite clearly.

Re: How much salt should you 'eat' per day?
by
WhiteRhino333

If you do a search on "how much salt per day?" ( https://duckduckgo.com/?q=how+much+salt+per+day%3F&ia=web ) you get an answer of 1,500 mg, with a max of 2,300 mg.

This is because more can be harmful to health, especially by raising blood pressure.
https://www.fda.gov/food/nutrition-education-resources-materials/sodium-your-diet#:~:text=Sodium%20attracts%20water%2C%20and%20a,pressure%20remains%20elevated%20over%20time.

But if you do a search on "how much salt is in a saline solution bag?" ( https://duckduckgo.com/?q=how+much+salt+is+in+a+saline+solution+bag%3F&t=ffab&ia=web ) you get 9,000 mg per liter.

In an ambulance or in the hospital, they shove this bag of salt into you easily in a day.

Doctors inject you with this saline solution when they consider that there is a risk of dehydration or electrolyte imbalance in your body. For this reason, they add a higher amount at that precise moment.

So why do they say to take a max of only 1,500 mg when you are on your own?

Because more can be harmful to health, especially by raising blood pressure. But this is by habit and in the long term... not by a bag of saline in a moment of illness or accident.

https://www.fda.gov/food/nutrition-education-resources-materials/sodium-your-diet#:~:text=Sodium%20attracts%20water%2C%20and%20a,pressure%20remains%20elevated%20over%20time.

I think they do love. It may not be the sense of love that humans have, but it is love (in my opinion). When they cry because you are leaving, or when they go crazy when you arrive, to me that is love.
In the same way they can feel fear or sadness. You only have to look at dogs that are or have been mistreated.
Obviously you can't ask what they feel, but their actions show it...

Your fvourite games in PS
by
WhiteRhino333
on 14/12/2024, 12:14:21 UTC
I would like to know your favorite Playstation games, about 5 approx. I would like them to be of the 4 or 5, as they are games with backward compatibility and those of the 4 can be played on the 5 (not vice versa).

My favorite games are:

* Last of us 1and 2
* The Evil Within 1 and 2 (spectacular)
* god of war
* Red dead redemption 2
* Horizon Zero Dawn

I'm sure I'm leaving some out, although the first two I've put 2 games in one... they're works of art IMO.

I guess it should be noted that you are talking about patients, not normal people at home. The daily amount of salt is recommended by organizations such as the WHO
(which has already made a few mistakes), but there is supposed to be a maximum, to avoid health problems such as hypertension.
Anyway, when a person is injected with a bag of saline solution, it is supposed to regulate hydration, electrolyte quantity, because it is understood that he/she
has had a deficit in this sense, due to an accident, fasting before an operation or a test... etc.

Re: Too late to buy Bitcoin ?
by
WhiteRhino333
on 11/12/2024, 21:20:01 UTC
If someday I invest in any crypto, since I am a little late, and still with little information, I will be able to assume the risk. I think that when you invest in any asset, the first thing you should be clear about is that the money you invest is not essential for your daily life. I would only invest the money that I can, without the fact of losing it all, leading me to ruin. That is to say that I will only risk part of my patrimony, of which I can do without in my day to day life.

I want to see what will happen if there is policy changes that will favour Bitcoin but the more I look at it, I feel it's not coming as people want but I wouldn't be the first that will start the discussion so people wouldn't think I don't have Bitcoin to my wallet is the reason why I'm fudding and not been bullish. As I'm optimistic about the market, I'm also weighing other options.

Anyone should always weigh various options and diversify your investment, in my view. I find your point of view very reasonable, thank you!

Re: Corruption and it effects to developing Economies of the world
by

I think that corruption is a burden for any society. In Spain for example, billions of euros have been squandered in pharaonic constructions,
without any utility or real benefit for the towns or cities where these works were built and have been given to friends and / or relatives for many years.
In addition to the typical corrupt practices, in advisors, finger positions.

Being the Spanish debt in September 2024 of 1,626,065 million euros.

by
WhiteRhino333
on 11/12/2024, 18:56:13 UTC

The same thing has happened in Spain. The central government has contributed 400 million euros to the world bank to “fight poverty” but the 10 billion euros
for the people affected by the hurricane have not been paid. And those who have been paid, have been paid very little and in dribs and drabs... you should
help developing countries, but first you should take care of the citizens of your country.

I try to buy Bitcoin now because is a period of my life that I can invest 300-400$ per month do you think that Btc is a good investment option for me and the range of the money I can invest monthly ?

I have the same doubts, now I have investments in index funds... seeing bitcoin prices it is a bit scary to invest in this asset. Apparently people have a lot of confidence in bitcoin and many people think that it has not reached its peak. I will try to invest when I can, because at some point it will go down and you can buy a little cheaper ... for now what I try is to inform me as much as possible, it is a complex world and you have to be very well informed.

Re: Bitcoin will never become mainstream
by
WhiteRhino333
on 01/12/2024, 08:36:41 UTC

I accept that fact, but that brings the contradiction with it. If bitcoin is an investment and not a currency, than this means the only reason it goes up is because people think that other people will buy it, and thus its price will go up, not because they want to use it as a currency.

Satoshi's intention in creating bitcoin was to make it a currency but we should adapt to everything and not be stubborn in thinking that it has to follow the original intention to be called mainstream. What Bitcoin becomes and how it is applied to life is not so important because sometimes we need to change to adapt, the important thing is that it has brought many benefits to everyone.

It has helped people reduce their dependence on third parties and have full control over their money due to its decentralized nature. It has brought financial improvement to many people and that number will continue to increase over time. That's enough to become mainstream in this world, what more could you ask for?

One issue that concerns me is whether the accumulation by large companies or states, such as Guatemala or Microstrategy, leaves room for such decentralization. Hoarding too much bitcoin can lead to manipulations of the market price and therefore a “centralized” control of the value of the currency.
On the other hand, I believe that the difficulty in the way of having your cryptos, without the intervention of third parties, makes it difficult for most people to make daily transactions with this currency. Also, if I am not mistaken, the transaction rate of bitcon is about 7tps while visa is about 1700tps. These impediments may prevent it from becoming a common currency in the short term.

I can imagine how those that sold their BTC when it was less than $10 feels right now.

I believe that thinking about past times and regretting actions taken, is a mistake. Especially if you think of them as wrong from the present point of view.
Nobody (at least that I know of) is able to read the future... and even less in the long term, so if they made the decisions weighing the pros and cons of their decision, I understand that at that time it was a good decision.
