20 mbtc and it has been 20 days since I made the withdrawal request.
Hey @Willowbitcoin, did they finally process your withdrawal request. I am seeing more and more complaint and the users don't seem to get any help at all

How about That ? -
Still waiting for my withdrawal from JANUARY 2025 !
Before the whole December verify KYC
Now Pending 25 MBTC
The reply always"Please Wait"
Why don't you open a scam accusation regarding the casino? We can't allow this to go on and on without any single accountability from the casino and yet the customers are the ones suffering.

Not yet, Im at 40+ days.

There is no issue with kyc or anything like that. They just say im in the queue and have poked cashier for payment.

[SCAM GAMBLING SITE] - STAKE.COM - Withholding .21 BTC ( $14,000 USD )
by

What happened::

On approx June 2023 my ability to withdraw was limited and I received an email that i was suspected of multi accounting. I assume this was due to my use of VPNs. Which i use for personal and business use.

I was previously level 2 verified and this was removed. Stake requested i reupload my drivers license and passport. Photos of me with these documents. also multiple photos of me with stake written on a paper.
I provided this immediately and was level 2 verified again.

They asked for bank statement. I supplied this.
They asked for bank statement, stamped. I supplied this.
They asked for utility bill. I supplied this.
They asked for 3 months of utility bills. I supplied this.
They asked for 3 month of utility bills and proof of payment. I supplied this. ( proof of payment was my bank statement, where i transfer money )
They asked for 3 month of utility bills and physical proof of payment. This i could not supply them as 1) i was unsure what physical proof of payment was. ( they would not accept my digital proof ). And when i changed my digital payments to phsyical. They did not accept my receipts of payment from post office as they were in thai.

I then traveled to australia for work and recently returned.

Last week I supplied them a fresh bank reference letter AND a bank statement both in english, both stamped and a photo of me standing outside the bank. They said they are unable to verify these documents and ask for 3 months of utility bills. I am not going on that merry go again as you can see from above, it doesnt end well.

Bank reference and Bank statements are accepted documents as per their own website - https://help.stake.com/en/articles/5328375-acceptable-documents-for-proof-of-address

I have previously also supplied them ( and offered them again today ), a letter from the thai government in the form of a national ID document. This is a physical card and also accompanying document that is stamped by the thai foreign ministry. They said they would not accept this either.

Without a doubt stake.com.  0/10 if you are a winning better.  7/10 if you are a losing better.

They selectively scam people from third world countries with impossible KYC requirements.

When you provide them documents in english, they ask for other , niche documents that only exist in your native language but stake only accepts english documents.

update -

Rejected again with the following response.

"Level 3 is rejected, the customer sent a bank statement, they need to upload a utility bill for the last three months and proof of payment of that bill for each month."

The above is not true as I supplied them with a bank statement and a bank reference letter. Both stamped.

I am not going on that utility bill merry-go-around again.

Ive recreated the complaint on askgamblers with this new information. Hopefully they accept it.

I believe that in this forum there are people from your country who use stake and are verified at level 3, so you should ask them what documents they used to verify their accounts at level 3 and get the same document in your country and deliver it to stake. because it may happen that the documents you are submitting are not valid in the stake. Also you talk about 6000 USD, did you deposit the money through your bank account or was it through cryptocurrencies? and which country had you traveled to when they asked you for level 3 kyc?

Thank you for your response,
I travel back and forth between australia often and will be back in Australia in 3 months time. I am working towards getting my perm visa.

I wonder if those other thai people (if they exist) were profitable or stake only kyc people who win.

Its evident at this point it doesnt matter what i give them they will not accept it.

-= Update =-

Stake has responded and said they can not verify my bank and bank reference statements. I assume as gambling is illegal in thailand they have no pathways to verify with the relevant banks.  Thats their problem not my problem.

They have asked for 3 months of utility bills again.  I am getting PTSD flash backs of the back and forths i had with them last year.

Ive sent them a reply email and offered to meet up with a rep in thailand, (and cover this cost) , Ive offered to go to the thai foreign ministry and have an ID card provided with my address ( This is different than a drivers licence ). I am sure they will not accept either. I feel like im dealing with AI bots. I might be.

Ive been gambling for a long time, on some dodgy sites but i have never had the misfortune of encountering a sportsbook like this.

-: Update :-

I created a complaint on askgamblers, which was rejected because "Investigation by stake is still ongoing".

I assume askgamblers took this stance as I said my level 3 verification hadn't been approved or rejected from my reupload on 13/5/2024

But come on, It's been a year I've been on this merry go around so many times.

Disheartening.

I will look at the scam accusation channel on bitcointalk and make a post there in a day or two. Thank you for the suggestion.

Yes, I messaged these Stake reps on bitcointalk directly

Stunna - June 15th 2023
Micro - 1st of July 2023

I've lodged my level 3 verification documents again. Depending on how that goes I will reach out to askgamblers and casinoguru.

I appreciate the suggestions!

Given how difficult level 3 has been, I am absolutely dreading level 4 verification. Proof of source of income. Trying not to even think about that yet until I get past level 3.

I promised myself I wouldn't think about this again but with the price of btc going up, its worth revisiting this thread as my locked amount is .21 BTC. Which equates to 13k USD.

Ouch.

A nice member here suggested I try a bank reference letter. I have gotten that , stamped by the bank although it doesn't have my address on it. The bank said they do not have templates with addresses. *mind exploding*.
So to accompany the bank reference letter, I also have a bank statement, with my address and also stamped by the bank and i also took a photo of me outside the bank.

Put it all in a file and sent to Stake.

Here we go again.

Btw - Does anyone have suggestions on arbiters that could help me in this situation? I.e powers that be above stake that i could speak to?

Re: Is Stake.com allowed to lock account with $6,000 untill I lose it all?
by
Willowbitcoin

This was approximately a year ago, and I would like to share a recap of what occurred.

In late June of last year, I had a fortunate sports betting experience and won around $6,000 in LTC (120 LTC). Following my win, I promptly requested a withdrawal, but unfortunately, it was denied. This surprised me since Stake is typically known for their quick withdrawal times. To understand the situation, I reached out to their support team for an update.

Upon inquiring about the denial, I was informed that this was a routine check and they requested me to undergo KYC verification up to level 4. Level 4 is the highest level of KYC, which involves providing a picture of my Passport/ID, a personal banknote to demonstrate proof of funds, and a bill to verify my residency. Initially, I found this request rather unusual and tried to obtain a valid reason as to why I was being singled out for verification when I simply wanted to withdraw my winnings. However, the support team was unhelpful, claiming they didn't know the reason or attempting to avoid the question by insisting on KYC verification.

After submitting the required documents, I received a notification stating that the documents I had provided were insufficient. They cited poor image quality, unclear details, and sometimes even failed to provide a reason, leading me to believe they were deliberately prolonging the withdrawal process.

Interestingly, despite the withdrawal issues, I discovered that I was still able to place bets on the platform. Unfortunately, like any other addict, I continued gambling until I lost all my winnings within four days. I attributed this to sheer bad luck, convincing myself that it was solely responsible for my losses.

However, I later spoke to a friend who underwent the same KYC procedure and learned that his verification process took less than a day, enabling him to withdraw his funds instantly.

Curiosity led me back to stake.com to review my betting history and investigate what had truly transpired. To my surprise, the tickets had disappeared, and when I questioned the support team about this, they attributed it to a platform issue, stating that neither party could access the tickets and that nothing could be done about it (refer to the images below).

2nd image: [https://ibb.co/1qSqgS2]

I don't wish to dwell on this matter any longer, but I would appreciate hearing your thoughts. Personally, I feel that this is a highly questionable practice, allowing users to continue gambling while demanding verification for withdrawals, and then conveniently erasing the tickets and evidence. It appears to be nothing short of shady and potentially predatory to me.

Hello ITDEX,

I am having similar problems for interestingly, roughly the same amount of $.

I think people need to know the stake that was is not the stake that currently is as more and more people step forward with these type of stories.

OP why are you not providing the required documents for the to process your request, don't you know thst as long as you make use of a kyc casino, they will definitely request for your identity and some information about you, you're the one delaying yourself here i think because they cannot shift ground for you except you comply with them, giving me them just your electric bill or other required documents shouldn't be a difficult task to you, maybe next time you will learn not to use a kyc casino and choose the ones that don't request for such.
The OP gave all these bills, bank statements - everything the Stake support asked as i understand. If he tells us the truth - i don`t see any problems with KYC - he gave enough information for it. The moment i`m interested in is why @stunna doesn`t post here, he usually answer when someone has problems with the Stake.
PS. The easiest way to KYC in such situation - video call. In such verification the OP can show his ID and bills.

I think a video call would be the best way to further pass that long verification process. It's frustrating on Op's end knowing that he has gone through a lot of processes and they're still asking for more documents. A proof of billing, IDs and selfies would be enough to know that the customer is the rightful owner of the account.
I think to finish things off, Op has to do the last 3 months stamped bill to pass this and if they will still ask for more I think that would be really too much and beyond the real essence of KYC. We all know that they also want to secure their site from fraudsters yet it will also be unfair if Op has played responsibly and spent money to play on their site.

This should be okay and I think there's no other thing needed unless they request that video call to confirm the identity of OP, its really frustrating if the case is true and someone ask for more requirements eventhough he already provide all necessary needed on the whole Kyc Process. For the readers to get satisfied with the answer and they will not get only one sided answer better for casino representative to come on this thread and explain if case is true and why they ask that long Kyc process.
I was in such situation twice and both times all the problem with KYC were decided with videocall. The support wrote what data i had to prepare before the call. During the call they asked me to show my id, some bills, asked several easy questions about gambling. I spent about a week fighting with the support, until we decided to make video KYC. After this decision it took 2 days to the end of KYC.

Was this with stake? Happy to do a video call.

Still no word from stake reps.

Ive got two months worth of digital electronic invoices now. Will lodge next month when the third comes through.

This whole thing is so silly....
