Re: Has anyone ever used QuoteColo for mining hosting?

https://www.quotecolo.com/bitcoin-mining-colocation/canada/
Trying to find out how their service is by peer reviews, anyone ever used them before?

It is strange that I only found only one comment about this company and it was a positive comment:

QuoteColo was able to place my miners when others could not. I
only had 4 miners to place at the height of the craze, and
everyone was at or near capacity and uninterested in dealing
with such a small customer. Bob kept up the search and was
able to match me with a facility with the lowest prices I could find
online within driving distance of my house. I was given a tour of
the facility by the owners, which was very clean, safe and
smoothly run - I was very pleased with the whole experience. My
miners have been running smoothly ever since I dropped them
off. I would never have been able to find such a nice home for
my miners without QuoteColo.

I think you need to wait for comment from someone who has already used this site, but it must be someone here from the forum that is very reliable and has already used this site, next decide whether or not to use this site.
Agreed, that I was asking here, thank you very much for the info. I don't think I'll be using them, looks too good to be true. $48 a month for hosting on an S9? Yeah right.

Never heard of them myself. Weird you can't find much about them considering they are apparently a fairly large international company. Not sure what the waitlist is like but if you are looking for hosting in Canada I always point people to CryptoBoreas - Canadian Bitcoin Mining Hosting (As low as $70 CAD per 1 KwH). They are established and have a great reputation. I've never hosted with them but have made some hardware sales to Allinvain.
That's funny that you say that as I've done the same with Allinvain, noted thank you.

Selling GUNBOT Ultimate Edition License
by
Xpod78
on 23/03/2019, 20:45:14 UTC
Bought this license last year in August when I was getting really into Crypto-trading, found out I still had it so figured I'd sell it. Any reputable escrow is perfectly fine, looking to make some extra BTC.
Current Ultimate Edition License is worth 0.25 BTC but I paid 0.165 BTC for this version at the time.
So currently selling it for 0.15
Anyone interested?

on 11/10/2018, 08:48:27 UTC
https://www.tradingview.com/script/XMW10C5r-Volume-to-Price-Ratio-Confirmed-Strength-Index/
Very easy to read and use trade indicator, high key it's one of my top 5. Pairs VERY well with resistance lines to know if it'll make or break them.
Works on Stocks, commodites, forex, and very well on crypto. 0.005 BTC or 35$ to my PayPal @ ericisom887@gmail.com
Limiting it to 200 slots total, PM me if interested. (I have a few other indicators on my profile that are also VERY good and free to use as a proof I do know what I'm doing)
so far 5 Slots are taken up!

At first i thought the transaction was stuck, but it's not. You have over 3900 confirmations, so your coins are really therein that address, don't worry

You're probably using a bad Wallet, or you are wrong about the privatekey.

I don't know BCD very much. But I would try https://www.electrumdiamond.org/

Electrum has more control over private keys.

Are you sure you put your private key, not your public key or something different?

Go to iancoleman.io , download it, insert your seed and look for the privatekey for the corresponding public address , just to be sure.

Well, what i have understood is that most of the members who  have replied above don't understand the exact incident.
Both wallet addreses are your's but in general a coin should be sent to only to a wallet that supports same coin and here you have swaped between two different coins (BCD-BTC), isn't it ?
You can only get coins back by reaching support team of BTC wallet that you have used to retrieve these coins
The BTC wallet that has these coins is not on an exchange, but that is the wallet I have the private key for.

If you have the priv key maybe you could do something like this - https://www.codeproject.com/Articles/1151054/Create-a-Bitcoin-transaction-by-hand
or https://klmoney.wordpress.com/bitcoin-dissecting-transactions-part-2-building-a-transaction-by-hand/

Write the TX yourself and broadcast it, send it right back to the exchange and dump it..
Ahhh, I'll give this a try, this was moreover what I was looking for thank you Cheesy

I thought electrumdiamond.org was a scam? Also it matches, I have the public key, I've imported the wallet via private key but was told the balance is 0 BCD

Re: YOU KNOW WHAT I HATE?
by
Xpod78
on 21/09/2018, 08:03:46 UTC
You guys know what I hate the fucking most? This forum is amazing, the community, for the most part is friendly and awesome.
Of course about 20% of it is just filled scammers and over half is just filled people who critique thinking everything must be a scam, but no what I hate the most about this forum is that IF you ask for a LOAN. JUST ASK and you provide what YOU thought might be valid collateral to which you find out it isn't and you pretty much cancel the request, PEOPLE WILL GIVE YOU NEGATIVE TRUST RATINGS! I see this happening to people all over the damn forum! Like WHAT THE FUCK I'm a newbie it says it in my damn name I didn't know it was so dis trustworthy just to ASK for a loan! I got negative trust just because 2 assholes thought I was trying to scam when I realized that what I was asking for was stupid i cancelled it, I'm a newbie I'M FUCKING LEARNING, DON'T SLAP ME ON THE WRIST FOR ASKING.
Lmao looking back at this 2 years later; I was a such a little shit.

Re: Bitmain edging close to 51%
by
Xpod78
on 27/06/2018, 07:20:26 UTC
Im not one for scaremongering  but I read an article on http://bitcoinist.com/bitmain-51-percent-bitcoin-hashrate/
titled "Bitmain Approaching 51% of Total Bitcoin Network Hashrate".

Now we all know the dangers of the 51% and too much control and
I wasnt aware bitmain had such a big slice bitcoin mining are they
really a threat to the 51% capacity and is it something to be concerned
about?

Also would it be the case that if they got closer to that figure smaller
miners in the pool would move to another?
Not going to lie, I wasn't really worried about it until they announced that they're going to slash their fees for the next 3 months.
