The Uses of the big and small letter of Bitcoin [btc]
by
Youngrebel
on 09/09/2025, 01:27:15 UTC
I decided to make more research on this educative topic.

Many of us don't know when to use the big and small letter of Bitcoin. And here I will differentiate the two though there are almost the same but they have different usage.

The CAPITAL "B" of the Bitcoin is the network protocol of the asset. In other words it is the whole system of bitcoin. When you are referring Bitcoin as a whole, you used the capital letter. Example. pooya87 uses Bitcoin network to send the coins (bitcoin) to philipma1957.  The capital B is the protocol (the rules Bitcoin is governed) and moves from one wallet to another (the movement in the Blockchain)
Bitcoin: the network

Small Letter "b". The small letter "b" in bitcoin is used when referring to the currency or the coin. That is the unit of bitcoin you have is called as bitcoin with small letter. Examples. klarki gave 20 bitcoins to 1miau as birthday gift. CryptopreneurBrainboss sent 10 bitcoin to Mia Chloe to support orphanage.
bitcoin: The Currency/Coin

The uses of BTC
BTC basically used for the currency or the coin but it use for the two. Bitcoin and bitcoin.
Igebotz has 100 BTC. Or Fillippone sent the coins on BTC network. The first sentence is the coin (currency) while the second sentence is the network.

You can see more information on this here:
Bitcoin with capital "B" and bitcoins with lowercase "b"

Is Bitcoin Capitalized? Uppercase "B" vs Lowercase

In everything that developed, there are changes and as you can see there are changes in the forum. And the forum old and new members welcome you. Anyone that was here and the person still loves bitcoin and the person is still alive and healthy will definitely remember this forum and make a return to the forum and the forum is always available to welcome them back. Now you have to see new things in the forum.
Many names you knew before might have changed to another nicknames. More Local Boards were added to the forum and more merit sources added. The new forum that was planned to execute was cancelled along the line. And finally the total number of users in the forum has been increased more than when you were here.
The forum accept both those who are well educated in bitcoin and those who are not well informed in bitcoin so those who don't know anything about bitcoin always ask questions and sometimes write nonsense and mistake is unavoidable in human life so spamming is still exist. You can report them to mod if you see them or ignore them.

The usage and awareness of Bitcoin in Naija is surely increasing, personally I think Nigeria is one of those countries in Africa where if it where down to the citizens, Bitcoin would have been a legal tender. Still the knowledge of Bitcoin statistically has been with the younger generation. Either in rural or urban areas. The market, women. Pensioners, Older entrepreneurs may not be armed with such knowledge. If more awareness is needed, what's the best way to reach a huge populace?
98% of the youth in the central cities across the country e dey aware of cryptocurrency and mostly Bitcoin but the rural areas, the 98% go revised back to them wey e no dey aware of cryptocurrency and di remaining percent sef na bitcoin dem know pass. Though people dey know am every day but di uses and di usage e still dey small but e better pass before.
When do government go approved banks to use and accept am again before di usage go back increase for now it is only di uses dey increase.  The usage na di different ways of using it which na only buy and sell for now. But the uses wey be number of people involved dey increase.

for them to get a re-form or even management sacks.
It seems that he did not watch the match between Nigeria and the Rwanda and also you did not bother to check it up on the Livescore to know the actual score before criticizing the super eagles.

Even if we are not comfortable with the poor performance of super eagles in this world cup qualifiers, we should be able to agree that they played good football today and they eventually won the match not draw as you falsely said above.
No mate I watched the first half of the match, and when our team were not playing well in the first half of the game I stepped out to take fresh Air and never return for the remaining second half of the game, so I concluded that the match may have ended in a draw, but then I checked the statistics on live score and discovered that the Nigeria team made a goal score at 51 minutes which is somewhat late goal coming from supper eagles there if you must agree with me, see the position the super eagles are on the table and you will realize the reason why I made such a comment, I don't mean to talk down on our national team but then their have performed worst in each competition unlike the falcons.
Lolz, your fresh air ended up going home or not switching to the channel again. In most times because of their disappointing nature of fans, people are not interesting to watch their games and the way you walk out, many people did the same, and for those who do not have TV to watch at home if Super Eagles were doing well, they would have watched it in an app but even if they watched it in the app, it would be a waste of data and time so the watching rate too has reduced.

Today match was Central African Republic VS Cameroon and Cameron beat them 2-0. Cameroon was one of the best team in Africa when Samuel Etoo was there but now they are also struggling like Nigeria.

After Stake, BCgame is the most popular crypto casino in the gambling industry.
There are many reputable casinos in the industry and probably Stake and BC game were the most popular ones as of then but now there others and 1win is also one of the most popular casino in the industry. And the way 1win is moving, it might even overcome those casinos you have mentioned. One thing is to make the name popular and the most important thing is the reputation of the casino and to maintain the reputation is the highest thing to do as a casino which will like to attract players to itself.

Shuffle isn't a scam service. I'm very confident that the issue will be fixed, and it will be as if nothing happened.
     ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Update
I’d like to clear up the air regarding this case. After speaking with Shuffle directly, they presented clear evidence that the bet in question was indeed fixed. I now understand that my earlier assumptions were incorrect.

For context, I’ve been using an AI-based bet tracker to monitor bets from winning punters across multiple sites and tailed their action. While using such a tool is completely legal, it seems it picked up a fixed bet, which led to the confusion.

I want to apologize to Shuffle for any false accusations. That was not my intention, and I take responsibility for jumping the gun.

That said, I do believe the situation could have been handled with a bit more professionalism and communication early on. Still, I appreciate them taking the time to clear things up.

Lesson learned on my end. Appreciate everyone’s understanding.
We have seen the update and it is a good news for shuffle casino. If the issue had not been resolved many people on the gambling industry would think that shuffle is a bad casino. And let the good name of shuffle continue because small accusation can tarnish a big name and destroy it. We thank God for the peaceful resolution of the case.
There were misunderstanding and that lead to the confusion of the guy and what caused the creation of the accusation thread and the flag was the muted nature of shuffle at the beginning and if they responded to the guy earlier and explained things in this last days, probably it would have been resolved before coming to the public. We still thank God for resolution.

It is good to hear that. I think you will also write resolved in the accusation thread though I have not checked it probably you have done that and also removed the flag because I saw the flag there just now when I checked the inactive flag. It is good that casinos like shuffle professionally settled the case amicably. And it is good you came to the public and tender your apology.
There were other cases which I had seen on shuffle casino in the accusation board but yours was higher.

It was not the best game to watch, it was scrappy, but at least we got the three points. On to the next one, which is a crucial game against South Africa on Tuesday, our manager Eric Chelle has to do something differently in that game if we are to stand a chance of beating South Africa in their home. Remember that South Africa played a home game yesterday, so no travelling for them, and they have a day more to rest, while we have to recover, then travel to South Africa for the game, all in the space of two days.

Victor Osimhen also went out injured, so i am not sure if he would be fit for Tuesday's game, i hope he is. If we beat South Africa, then our hope will be up in the roof. Congratulations to the Super Eagles on this victory.
From what I saw today, I don't think Nigeria will win South Africa on Tuesday. Nigeria oppressed Rwanda and the goalkeeper of Rwanda also tried for his team but I was expecting Nigeria to score more goals to sound their name but only 1 goal. From now to Tuesday is not far, and just three days to go. Eric Chelle has to know those who played well in this game and those who didn't do well in both the first and second time. And put other good players.
Victor Osimhen injury is not serious so I believe he can recover before on Tuesday and I pray so because he is good at the striking position. Right now Nigeria is on the 3rd on the table in Group C, for now they are qualified until we see the outcome of the Tuesday game.

Bitcoin is not creating equality in the economic structure or system but it is bringing those poor investors to the middle class. Bitcoin has not created the world richest man. I saw in a news that Satoshi Nakamoto has join the top 10 world richest men and not the number one. Since when bitcoin has been realized in Africa, nobody has beating the African richest man with Bitcoin. But Bitcoin has raised Man men from grass to grace.
The peer to peer uses of bitcoin is the core invention of bitcoin and not to compete with wealth or richest.

Next year we go get Democracy Day Carving or drawing and other events in di country. Frankly Speaking there is nothing to celebrate in the independent day in Nigeria. Nigeria is still depending on many countries to survive. A country that e no get any industry to produce something to sell is not an independent country. Ajaokuta Steal plant would have been the number company to be completed and help other industrial firms in the country but nothing dey happened there. I don't know weti we dey celebrate here. I don't if really we understand weti be independent.
As I don talk am next here someone to come up with a democracy thread. I am waiting for that one too. Nigerians leaders e don spoiled everything in the country so mo even e dey interesting to celebrate.
It's Agaokuta steel company not Ajekuta steal. But you are correct I actually sent some years there when the Indians ran the place and handed it over to the Germans, this was moving greatly there, free water in, light and there is a transport system called city train that moves around the city and it was free, top level school that was so cheap good road network and workers got paid quickly but now since Nigeria is handling the place it's become a ghost town. Regardless we still have to celebrate our independence day
It is spelled as Ajaokuta "J" and not "G". You can check it here "Ajaokuta Steel Company Limited - Bedrock of Nigeria's Industrialization." https://ajaokutasteel.com.ng.

Well everyone has their own view point on this day, if di leaders wanted us to celebrate in those days, they would have making things favorable to the individuals or the citizens to enjoy but na to suffer di people in di kwatiri nai dem know. So how we go celebrate a country dat still depending on another countries for everything. And bringing mercenaries from another countries to come destroy their own country needs not to celebrate for.

I no dey stop anyone to celebrate but we must be aware dat we still depends on other countries for survival.

South Africa still remains leader of Group C as they beat Lesotho away from home 0-3, they now have 16 points from 7 match to its just 3 matches left to play. In beer doubted them today, I expected them to win, I gambled on them to win and they delivered. This South African team have always find way to score goals, they make scoring looks easy that because they always create a lot of chance when they play.

This winning have now mount a lot of pressure on the super eagles of Nigerian if they want to keep their hope of qualifying for the World Cup Alive, they play tomorrow against Rwanda at home, they need all 3 points at this point as Benin beat Zimbabwe today 1-0. Well let see how the eagles play tomorrow against Rwanda.
If Nigeria won't win this game then theirs is gone and I am not against the Super Eagles but I doubt if they will win the game because their performance in the qualification stage is not encouraging fans to believe them again. Rwanda is not a strong team for the Nigeria Super Eagles but if Benin Republic could beat Nigeria, then I don't have confidence on them again. But tomorrow the both teams will prove themselves.
I didn't watch today Benin Republic match against Zimbabwe but Benin Republic has proven that they can do average performance this tournament.

by

on 05/09/2025, 17:27:14 UTC
I guess you're not just finding out that Bitcoin has a fixed supply of 21 million coins. Yes you read right.
This is not the first time we have been seeing or hearing this. You were a good ready in the forum, you must have seen it in the forum either in the beginners & help section or the bitcoin discussion board.

My point is, do you think other crypto currencies will adopt such policies to keep up, or rival Bitcoin?
I think every cryptocurrency which I have encountered had a limit on the supply. Ethereum has a limited supply and others so it is not some new to any active forum user.

Re: How is Bitcoin changing the economy?
by
Youngrebel
on 05/09/2025, 17:06:49 UTC
Bitcoin is for everyone and also making the poor to become financial freedom if they invest in it but the inequality in the individual economic structure is still remains the same. The rich are buying millions or billions at a time while the poor buys with a thousand (s). Bitcoin has the store of value because the demand is high and anyone that purchase a potion would like to hold it and not to release it at once and that another cause of that making the asset more valuable.

Best Time To invest.
And if anyone is interested to invest, this is the best time to key into the new trend. And let the person Keep it for like 5 to 10 years minimum. Though there some misconceptions that bitcoin will remove inflation but I don't think so because those who sell things will still increase to make profit. And I don't think bitcoin will reshape the world economy as someone has said in this thread.

E dey good to tell people about bitcoin and when dem want to invest you go tell dem di risk. And ask dem which of the plans dem dey interesting. Na di long term plan or di short term plan because many people think say bitcoin na like get quick rich scheme so some of dem go like to sell within weekly or monthly so you have to go deeply to explain many things to dem so that dem no go misunderstand di investment thing.
One mistake dey do in the investment process, dem go blame you for not guiding dem properly. And don't rush them to invest and if you know say dem go chop di money, you go fit buy keep in your wallet and wen di person Sabi well well, you go fit send give am. Like, dis few days Naira e dey get gain against di dollar which na good thing but e go affect those wey get good number of bitcoin before because when dem go sell am the amount no go dey same when the price been dey high. And if di price go down well well go affect more but for those wey go invest wen di price e dey low, dem go enjoy am.

Re: Nigeria Premier Football League/Players Discussion Thread: 2025/26
by
Youngrebel
on 04/09/2025, 17:05:44 UTC
Remo Stars lost two points in their first match, but they bounced back with a 2-1 win against Kun Khalifat. Currently, Remo Stars have 4 points and they are ranked 4th in the Nigeria Premier League table. As the defending champions from last season, I believe they'll put in even more effort this season.

I expected more Northern teams to be strong contenders in the Nigeria Premier League title, but they haven't shown much improvement this season. Especially Kano Pillars, which is a team I expect more from, considering their past performances, honestly, their performance hasn't been impressive, and they've started the new season with poor performances again, having secured just 1 point from two matches and dropped 5 points.
We saw last match of the Nigeria Premier Football League which was between Remo Stars and Kun Khalifat football team. Both teams tried to win this match but Remo Stars effort was osum and that team won the match km in the end by doing 2 goals in this match. Remo Stars football team is also very well in this tournament as that team played 2 matches and had 4 points on the table and present on the upper position of the table. But position of Kun Khalifat football team is very low as they has only 1 point as their first match ended with draw result.Players of Remo Stars football team looked in excellent form and that was the reason they did back to back goals in this match which was requirement of the team .
From the historical perspective, Kun Khalifat has not won Remo Stars in any of their plays so I see that last Sunday match between Remo Stars vs Kun Khalifat should not be used to determine the good performance of Remo Stars in this season. We all know that Remo Stars is the defending team in the league but their performance in this season is different from last season.
Remo Stars was dominating in the league from beginning to the end in last season and not like this that they are struggling to take 4th position.
Bayelsa United was almost relegated from the super nation league last season but now they are in the top and they are not relenting but continue to strive and strike.

In 1 day my country's national team will play against Uganda, which in that group currently occupies position number 4 with 9 points, while my country currently occupies position number 2 with 12 points.
Glad to see another African national in this thread that's not a Nigerian. Your country Mozambique is doing very well in group G, you guys are on 12 points, only 3 behind Algeria. It would be hard to topple Algeria and take top spot, but anything is possible. Goodluck against Uganda tomorrow.
I also didn't know that we have other Africans besides Nigerians in the forum. Glad to know that Slow death is an African. Mozambique has a solid team, but their lapses are in defense. Letting in ten goals in six matches shows some deficiency in the back line. Losing heavily against Algeria was a big blow but the Mambas still have the chance to qualify if they keep winning games and hope that Algeria drops points.
Slow death has been with us for a very long time. I noticed him 2023 when he mentioned his country of origin in this defunct thread. But I have not heard from others and I strongly believed there are Ghanaians in this forum and they have had not revealed themselves, I don't know if other people know some other African personnels in the forum but I don't.
Mozambique is an another African team that suffering defeat. Algeria is a big team in Africa football games. And Mozambique can't withstand with them.

World Cup Qualifiers resumption.

Gabon  beat Seychelles 4-0 in Group F yesterday. And it was a good performance from Gabon side of the match. And they are on the top of the Group F Table.

Re: Crash, Slot and Poker Games: Which one is Your Preferred Casino Game?
by
Youngrebel
on 04/09/2025, 16:43:41 UTC
I prefer crash games in most cases due to their way of multiplier system and luck in playing it, then followed by slot games, while poker is not mostly played by me, because of the procedures which I seem not to fully understand well, poker also may require your experience and knowledge, while slot or crash only requires you giving an attempt to play without having any prior experience in them, all these are mostly considered by me.
I also support your decision of liking crash games and their multiplier is good but their draining system is very fast to reduce your balance to zero. And that is why many people don't like to gamble with crash game because they don't have mercy when cutting your balance. But id you are wise enough, you can withdraw your winnings before they are gone back to the casino again.  I think among ball the games the Op had mentioned it is the crash game that is more preferable to me too.
But I have to play with a stipulated budget so that I won't exceed the amount of the day and not to over play the game. If you follow the interesting part of the crash game you will loss everything in the account.
