Re: Which of the BTC wallet should I choose?
by

Without a doubt, don't waste your time on anything other than air-gapped hardware wallets, because if you're serious, then you need serious things that provide maximum security if you set them up the right way. After that, it all depends on how you save your backup (seed, private keys) and whether you keep your mouth shut and don't talk about investing in Bitcoin to the people around you.

More info -> Wallet software

whats wrong/waste of time about a normal hardware wallet like trezor?

i think michael saylor is great, imo he is the main guy i go for general advice and advise others to follow. he is logical smart and knows what he's doing. anything he does is gold!

maybe i idolize him a bit like warren buffet but he cant do any thing wrong in my book and i consider him the go to when it comes to bitcoin

hey guys,

sorry if this is the wrong area to post. please advise me where to post or move this post if its in the wrong area.

im looking for a way to turn cash into bit coin as i dont want my bank transfers tracked. atm i use bitcoin atms. but the price difference is huge there is at least a 20 percent loss from the market value for using this way.

im in australia, is there a easier way to get bit coins annon like using a atm to get bit coin that i dont know about? or i do i just have to face this is the price to pay for buying bit coin and making it untraceable from my bank?

im very private and secure with what i do and dont want to use exchanges, as i know its the best way right now.

iOS is safer then android, saying that , android is safe if you don’t click on anything or download anything. Either way I’m paranoid so I just use a cold wallet and only small amounts in hot wallets

Just like snail in the photo, the process of Bitcoin's growth might be slow but it's very steady regardless of how volatile it is, Bitcoin is not like other ones that would pump so high then suddenly lose track and dump so badly then cause people who take the risk to invest in it to regret, those who invest in Bitcoin and hold it for very long and allow it to grow slow and steadily have never regretted doing that, the only complains I've seen concerning Bitcoin are that of critics who think investing in it is a waste of time but it's given many of them the benefits of doubt over the years and I believe it would keep doing better.
So if you're thinking of going into Bitcoin with the thought of making quick cash then you must be joking cause you'll end up getting disappointed, the best you can do is buy and hold for the future then watch is grow gradually for years, it's a very good investment opportunity with a slow but steady process.

I like the photo actually, but like many others on here I don’t agree about it being slow and steady, especially seeing I come from the world of traditional stocks they are slow and steady… bit coin in unpredictable fast and exciting haha.

Re: how obsessed with btc are you?
by
adadrian
on 01/05/2025, 23:10:18 UTC
I think your obsession is shallow, you need to quit being an observer and get into the game.

Have you invested some cold cash into Bitcoin yet? I think you should take your admiration and obsession a step further and own some stashes of Bitcoin for yourself, that way, you'll deepen the love and obsession in Bitcoin and learn more about it as you advance in your accumulation journey.

All your theoretical learning wouldn't be sufficient or effective if those learnings are not done practically, so get actionable about your admiration of Bitcoin
You're right because you going to play computer games and watching YouTube online doesn't make you obsessed with Bitcoin the fact of the matter is that you have to put your money where your interest is so if you are really obsessed with Bitcoin then start investing in Bitcoin as it's the future of crypto currency in the world because Bitcoin is one thing that has changed the lives of many through investment, your obsession with Bitcoin is still at the peripheral level because anything that you are obsessed about you will do anything possible to make sure that you lay hold on it.

Investment in Bitcoin is the best way to show your obsession that is when people around you will really believe that you are truly in love with Bitcoin because Bitcoin investment is one of the most promising investments that the return on investment is huge due to the fact that Bitcoin growth rate is second to non in the world of crypto currency

I do invest, but due to privacy reasons I don’t like to talk about that stuff, I think advertising you invest makes me a target some what. Or I’m paranoid, either way. I prefer to discuss my obsessive/enthuastic tendencies that don’t involve spending money or my income.

OP, if what you described in your post is your own way of obsession with Bitcoin, I will tell you that you are not really as obsessed with Bitcoin as you thought you were.

When someone says they are obsessed with something, they tend to overdo it from the normal way other people do it. As it is Bitcoin investment, they invest in it regularly with their saved money, leaving little to survive with. Another obsession is what they wear, will have Bitcoin written over it, they will be checking on the Bitcoin price every few minutes, and they will spread the awareness of Bitcoin everyone they go, if it is in the market

yeah i agree i should of changed the wording to how enthaustic are you

Being obsessed with Bitcoin is good if we have enough knowledge, understand the risks, and also know the best way to make it profitable. And all that is done without causing any loss or burden to ourselves and can be done safely and comfortably.

And personally obsessed with Bitcoin, because I can control it completely and no company or anyone and also the government controls it and it is completely decentralized, and most importantly because Bitcoin is very profitable and can change my life for the better especially in terms of finance and this is what makes me excited when there is talk about Bitcoin in real life.

I would call you a bitcoin enthusiast or a big fan of bitcoin, rather than a bitcoin obsessive. Because by definition, obsessions mean uncontrollable, repetitive behaviors and thoughts that negatively impact your life, from work to relationships…and that's definitely not a good thing.

Obsession and addiction are never good for our lives whether we are obsessed or addicted to things that are supposed to be positive like bitcoin, reading books...In other words, anything that throws us off balance or disrupts our lives is not good.

ok fair enough youre right.cant argue with that i should start using thay word from now on enthusiast. thanks

so how obsessed with bit coin are you?

i think im pretty obsessed and i see why people call it culty.
i watch documentarys on youtube, watch movies when they come on streaming sites. buy books about it, buy bit coin merch , use it as much as i can to buy things, mine it on weak computers just for fun. play mobile games to earn a sat, check out forums, talk to people about it.

yep im pretty obsessed.

The section where you posted the op is correct, now about your question, I'll just ask you first, what movie are you talking about here? bitcoin movie? what title? I'm just a little curious so I can watch it too. Because there are other movies I've watched that just insert bitcoin or cryptocurrency into the character lines for a few seconds because of AML (anti-money laundering).

I'm not obsessed with Bitcoin either, though I know that it really has potential in the long-term and since I can't afford to buy 1 bitcoin, I'm just going through accumulation
so that at least I can save some bitcoin for the next bull season.

,bursting the bubble, rise of bitcoun, bitcoin end of.money, banking on bitcoin coin, magic money. the rise and.rise of.bitcoin is free on youtube
