Can confirm. I had this error a few days ago and forgot to post it here.

And I need to get that receipt before I destroy the session. I need to destroy session, so I can get new receiving address to move more coins to the mixer. Unless there is a way to get a new address with out destroying session?

Why not have it set up where there is a fee scale based on how long you keep your coins on the chipmixer system? ranging from investment return for keeping your coins on for a long period, to paying higher fee when you remove your coins immediately. something like this.

+3 months= +1-2%
2 months= +.50-1%
1 month= +.10-.50%
10 days=  0%
5 days = -0.10- -0.50%
1 day= -0.50%- -1%
immediate withdrawal to 1 day = -1- -2%

I deposited 1.00 btc there about a year ago just to try it out out of curiosity. Since the coin price has went up I decided to go retrieve my btc from there. When trying to withdraw I got some bull shit withdraw error. So I shot them an e-mail just to get this reply back

Hello XXXX,
Thanks for your email. Please verify yourself as an investor, all you have to do is to send in a photo of your id and write in your current address, the system shall verify it within the same day. Also, please confirm with me your latest withdraw address change request. Thanks for reaching out!

I never agreed to this intrusion.
My guess is they know most users are not willing to send in a photo of their identification. So now they get to keep those users coins. I dont even understand how sending in an id even verifies anything. They are crooks and probably got hacked and lost all the coins they have on deposit. I feel bad for people who have larger amounts on deposit there. This is another gox for sure.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHADY COMPANY!!!

This I'm sure is an updated terms of use.

Not since Sept. 2015, which is at least 3 months over a year. Even if, it is your job to read these terms as you agreed to them when you created an account and you automatically agree to changes unless you explicitly state otherwise.

The fact is, they were allowing withdraws, then they weren't. I tested this with small amount before I added my 1btc. It's bait and switch. They don't need my I'd. There are a multitude of ways to confirm that I'm the owner. Just because they changed the terms of use didn't make it right. They are still cunts.

They are trying to cover their asses in terms of AML/KYC. Its perfectly fine to dislike that, but you have to inform yourself. Blaming them in hindsight for your shortcomings is silly.

Please stay on topic, you dont see others posting their sob stories here either do you?

They are still cunts

Well even if it does seem shady, who in their right mind would deposit 1BTC in a website they don't trust? ID verification is nothing wrong to ask and almost anyone would do so for 1BTC value. A safe(very safe) method to stay scam free is upload screenshots of deposits made to Imgur or other hosting websites for verifications.

First of all I deposited 1 btc to this site when they were around $300 each, now almost 1k a piece. even at 1k is not a lot of money to me. Its the principal of it. Seems youre one of these people who would have the stupid argument about not putting coins on exchanges either? without the exchanges, there would be no btc market.
Learn to read and comprehend please. nowhere in that email did they ask for a screenshot of my deposit. they are asking for a photo of my I.D. You say who in their right mind would send 1 btc to shady website but tell me to send my i.d. to said shady company. Whos out of their mind now?
I could easily sign a transaction with the btc address that I initially sent them the coin with to make deposit to prove I am the owner. But they arent asking for this either. Either they want to collect info for x government or they want to steal my coin or sell my identity. either way...fucking cunts

I created an account on okcoin.com. Almost immediately after I did this I started receiving several phishing attempts on the associated email address. They pretend to be gmail team. They say someone has accessed the account and tried to change password etc. This email address is not published anywhere and is only used with one other exchange.

I am very happy that an american distributor was able to distribute Trezors to the US - with short delivery times. Great product guys!

However, Satoshi Labs is currently offering 25% discount on their Trezor, with the coupon code opensourcematters89.

Go to buytrezor.com and enter the above coupon code - and you will see the discount applied...

Why the Amazon site doesn't reflect this discount, at least while the SL promotion is going on?

@windpath:  you are tied to SL hips, as an "official reseller", or you aren't...

But then I would have had to wait for shipping from Czech republic.

I just ordered and received a trezor from here http://www.amazon.com/TREZOR-The-Bitcoin-Safe-Black/dp/B00R6MKDDE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1423094732&sr=8-1&keywords=trezor.

Can someone please confirm this an official reseller and that the trezor is safe to use.

Now in electrum, go to tools -> plugins and enable the trezor plugin. Not sure if you need to restart electrum at that point. Might be necessary.

I followed all directions then went to enable the plugin. I can see the option there to enable trezor in the plugins list but it is grayed out and the checkbox cant be marked.

hmm. strange, it's grayed out for me, too. The checkbox is unmarked and can't be marked. However, the trezor still works. Can you try if it works?

I can confirm that it is now working. What I did was go to file/new and started a new hardware wallet, chose the trezor option with the trezor plugged in. The trezor wallet loaded up. I then went back to the plugin options and noticed that the trezor option was automatically checked and working on its own.

thanks guys,

so as for my queries, is this going to effect the way I transact now as well as transact from my cold storage, I really do not want to mess around with different change addresses, I just do not want to know about it and I want to use the same address as I do now. I also want to keep 1 Cold Storage backup and not keep changing my backup every single time I make a simple transaction from it.

Trust me, you are definitely gonna want to switch to the HD wallet once you get used to it. It is comparable to using an old rotary telephone, when a Samsung galaxy note 4 is available for you to use.

Here is a problem I have been having when doing in person trades. I have been using wallet32 for all my trades lately (until the mycelium hd wallet comes out). Often I am doing trades where there are more than one people that I have to trade with at the same time, usually one guy I know and his friend. I have a few times run into the problem where I cant send funds to the second guy right away because all my bitcoins are tied up with the last transaction. I have to wait for one confirm before the remaining funds are sent back to one of my change addresses. I know I can keep different amounts on different addresses/accounts to try and avoid this problem but this is a pain to send smaller amounts to a bunch of separate addresses and can start costing some significant money at 0.0001 per transaction. My question is, are there any plans to one day implement the ability on the mycelium wallet to sent to multiple addresses in one transaction such as one is able to do on mytrezor.com z.B.?

I'm having a problem with the mytrezor website. Whenever I send a payment out, in the transactions list it is showing presumably my change address instead of the address I sent payment to.

I am desperate to get my hands on the HD mycelium wallet. It will help a lot with my local bitcoin trading. When they release for beta testing, is it considered safe to use?

I just recently discovered the benefits of using an HD wallet. Because of this I had to switch from using mycelium to another mobile wallet.

I recently discovered the benefits of barbed wire.  Because of that I had to move to another house, which is surrounded by a barbed wire fence.

I mean, did you think about what these benefits would actually give you and whether they would apply in your case?  Sure, using an HD wallet means one doesn't have to think and worry about possible loss of privacy due to address reuse, or face the inconvenience of maintaining tons of non-HD keys.   And all the hard work that wallet developers put into delivering BIP32 to their users is truly commendable.  But all too often people read flashy headlines like "address reuse considered harmful" or "USB is fundamentally broken" and rush into action.

Not at all. I just started using an HD wallet willy nilly without thinking about it at all. I often do this kind of thing when dealing with important things such as finances or important life decisions.
