Re: [ANN] MonetaryUnit [MUE] Quark based - Migrating to X11 & MasterNodes June 2017

Hello

I'm mining MUE for a while now. It has run silently for weeks until today.

Today I noticed that my monetaryunit-qt (which runs permanently on my workstation) was not synched anymore and so I closed it, re-run it and it "Core Dumped".
Si I got a look at this thread and "Oh my god, what's that ? swap ? bitrex ?".

My questions is : how can I get my MUEs back ?

I don't know how to use bitrex or mymue.com (where there seems nothing to click on the page).
Can someone help me please ?

Thanks in advance.

P.S. : I have stoped my quark miner as asked earlier in this thread.

As far as I know (I am not one of the devs) Once the migration has been completed people that missed out on the deadline will be able to request their coins be swapped over on a case by case basis, probably first come first served. Join their slack channel (listed earlier in this thread) for more up to date info on that as well. Smiley

I just thought I should post here as a former staff member at Banx... These are my own personal thoughts and opinions and in no way reflect what Mark is thinking...

I know Mark didn't set out to scam everyone but I can see how it may look like that from the outside. My take on it is that he tried to do too much all at once rather than focussing on one thing and getting it profitable before moving onto the next thing. It also didn't help that it was in ICO for such a long time. If the full funding had come in quickly then things would have been different but when I was working there it was a constant struggle to make ends meet each month and pay the bills so the small amounts of investment that were coming in were getting swallowed up rather than being put to good use getting things going. On top of that we were trying to make sure we were paying the profit payouts each month from the little amounts of money that were being made.

In my opinion what we should have done was review things after the first 3-6 months with regards to the ICO and stopped the funding round there and used the money already attained to get one or two of the projects up and running properly and making money. Then do a second round of funding for the next projects after that. We tried to do too much too soon with not enough startup capital! Hindsight is always 20/20 though!

Mark has had it EXTREMELY tough both personally and professionally over the past few months and I'm not trying to make excuses for him as essentially it is all on his back but as I said the main reasons for the failure are that he tried to do everything all at once rather than focussing on one thing at a time. BanxMint for example was ready back in January last year but the marketing wasn't fired up for it so it never became profitable mainly because the money that was coming in was getting swallowed up in the bills rather than getting projects finished!

Banx.io was more of a cost than an expense once it was changed over to the new platform. Although the first version was pretty crap at least it made some money which was all put into the profit payouts. The original developer of that exchange left us high and dry! He left the country having half finished the system and we had no way of finishing it and also didn't know what backdoors he had left in there so we had to make the change. The new system we bought from Byron was awesome though, it just cost a lot more to keep it operational each month. We had no choice really though at that point and it was the best decision we could make at that time. I don't know what the deal is with that now though, whether it is solely owned by Byron or if Mark still has something in there as well...

The crypto profit training took way to long to get finished and never got launched properly so no real money was made from that either. That was the main thing that was designed to make everything work. Get new people into crypto with training and then get them to use the Banx services after that. If that had been completed earlier and we had brought in the new people to the crypto world things probably would have been very different.

The same is true for most of the things that were tried. It was a half job before moving onto the next thing! I know for a fact that Mark didn't set out to scam anyone but it was just bad luck and bad management. When I joined him our mutual friends all said to me my main job would be to keep Mark focussed on one or two things as he has a tendency to do too much too soon! I tried my best at that but ultimately I failed and therefore I feel partly responsible for the failure of Banx...

To those of you that think Mark has done a runner with all your money and is now living the high life, I know that is not the case! He has not bought a new house, he is renting and very likely very short on money at the moment due to the amount he put into this venture. He is probably getting emails and messages constantly off people asking where their money is which is why he has setup the new email address to deal with it all centrally so he can take time away from it every now and then to keep himself from spiralling into depression and make sure he still has some drive left to build something that can make money and set everyone straight!

I still consider Mark a friend and knowing how driven he is to build a successful business I know he will keep trying until he gets it right. If/when that happens I know the sort of person he is and he will do his best to make things right with the investors in Banx.

Of course everything I have said here is my own opinion. Mark hasn't asked me to post this, I haven't spoken to him in a while. I have just written things the way I see them along with the reasons I feel why Banx ultimately ended up failing.

I am unlikely to respond to much on here though as I am no longer in the crypto space (apart from a bit of trading personally) so don't really hang out on here.

I wish you all the best of luck in whatever it is you are doing.

So to sum up some things.

The first wallet created by banx was a big fat fail

The second wallet created by banx is a stopgap

Shares bought on banx site cant be sold

And mark can't visit the us because of past criminal behavior

Sounds like a cross of karpeles and madoff

Run from this one, dont walk

Shares can and are being sold by investors on banx.io and when we move to the bitshares network there will be many more trading pairs with Banx available.

You can go to banx.io and buy banx shares as many as you want. You could just buy 1 share if you wanted. The dividends will be paid straight to your banx.io account

I checked out the ToS and I see they are in UK Jurisdiction.  Being in the USA, is this not for me?  Seems like it isn't.

Read an article from 2014 and read this:

For more information: http://banxshares.com/ (Note due to US laws, United States based IP’s will not be allowed to access the website)

However I can access the website... is that a green light?

You are free to buy shares on the exchange as they are not sold by us. The exchange is in Panama jurisdiction so you are all good there.

Hope that helps

I guess the real question would be why people are allowed to "trade" during an ICO? Having them exist simultaneously seems counter-productive. If you're trying to establish a floor and keep price at a certain level, why even allow shareholders to place sell orders? Especially when that will only delay the completion of the ICO?

The majority of shareholders have a 12 month hold on their shares due to their higher investment level therefore this stops them from being able to trade them on the exchange or anywhere.

There are a few that don't have this tie in and they are the ones that are free to trade their shares as they wish. This means that most of the shareholders have to sit on their shares and therefore it will not delay the completion of the ICO.

Plus the launch of our new marketing products will help to speed the ICO completion up as well.

Hope that helps

What updates and changes will specifically come through this service and with what frequency? Trying to balance the use of yet another 3rd party service/app with what info we'll receive from it?

Can you guys not just do email updates for the important stuff?

All banx share holders will receive important email updates to their registered banx.io email as well. We haven't worked out a specific frequency for these updates yet but as there is news the updates will be pushed out Wink

Still no payout for July. Is there any problem?

Arne, the reason you didn't get a payout is because you tried to screw us again last month. Your account has now been set to Banx payout so you will receive your payout in the next cycle.

If you have any issues with that then speak to Mark directly.

http://screencast.com/t/HzfAEG4N

We will pay for first class tickets for you to come up between 12-2PM on Thursday this week and pay for your hotel room at the premier inn if you so desire but as you can see there are plenty of return tickets on the same day.

We can send you 0.5BTC to cover these costs which is more than enough to cover it.

Obviously we would rather know who you are before we meet you but the offer is there...

My guess from your insistance of us sending you 1BTC to "cover your costs" is that you just want us to send you money

No guessing is required in this rather very simple matter: your senior member of staff, the cyber fighter, the pissed off lead developer voluntarily offered me to cover my travel expenses with regards to a visit to your office. I didn't suggest that visit. No. The cyber hero invited me and said the expenses will be paid. I said fine, I am coming from London by train and a very modest, cheap one night hotel will be fine, so send me 1 BTC. Now, you think 1 BTC (£160.00) is unreasonable. Furthermore, because I want to keep the information regarding the time of meeting and details about your operation in the public domain - so others can at least benefit from my visit by being able to review your financial details -, now, you require my name and address to be posted here. Only you know, why my name and address need to be disclosed publicly in order to put a meeting in your calendar, to disclose the information about the time of meeting and the details of your business plan and financials.

I am a pensioner with so much time at my disposal, but right now you are wasting my time. You don't want to agree about the time of meeting nor the agenda of the meeting nor disclose the details in the public domain nor you are willing to disclose financial details about your operation, never mind about the travel expenses which you offered me in the first place.

Since this offer about my travel expenses clearly isn't serious, based on what I saw here from the bulked up cyber fighter, your CEO and yourself, now I will contact law enforcement and will tell them what happened here and that it seems to me there is a rather suspicious operation at 81 Market Street, Ashby De La Zouch, Leicestershire, LE65 1AH carried out on British soil, which facilitates money collection from investors and offers in my opinion completely unrealistic returns by giving hope to investors based on unrealistic business ideas and vaporware software and of course without disclosing the financial details of the operation. Then law enforcement will take everything into account - including the physical threats from your member of staff, that you and your CEO are perfectly comfortable with that, your smoke and mirrors posts, etc. - and decide whether they will look into this or not (I would be very surprised if they don't).

Let us know when you hear from the police Fraud Prevention Unit and other departments of Her Majesty's Government.

Good day gentlemen.

We can all tell you have a lot of time at your disposal.

For a train ticket from London to Tamworth (the closest station to our offices it is £37 so yes I do think £160 is unreasonable. We have said we will put you up in a hotel overnight if needs be but we will be booking that for you on our end as you have not come forward with your identity so it doesn't make good business sense to just send money to someone who has just been abusive to us...

Just Email Zoe to organise the meeting so we can get it scheduled in and then we can both post the dates and times on here once it has been organised. What is the point of us going back and forth arranging dates and times here pissing everyone else off with needless information that no one needs to see!

Organise the meeting by emailing zoe@banxcapital.com and we will get the money to cover your travel expenses sent to you and book the hotel for you. As long as you reveal your true name!

If you really are a pensioner you will also have a senior railcard so the journey will be less than £37 so £160 is massively overpriced!!

Take it or leave it.

Oh and if you are going to the police please make sure you include the whole thread where you were threatening to our lead developer which started this whole debacle...

Give us your name, email Zoe, arrange the meeting and we can both post the details of when the meeting is happening here as I'm sure the first meeting time we have available won't be to your liking and it saves clogging up this thread with back and forth interchanges between us organising a date and time that is suitable for all parties.

Slyy, you are asking for openness and transparency but you seem to only want it one way...

If you want openness and transparency, tell us your real name and come and see us. Your numbers are way off. Not all the shares have been sold and lots of our investors have chosen to take dividends in shares rather than bitcoin to help us out in the initial phases of this business as has been stated by many people in this thread. You seem hellbent on ignoring most of what has been said though so I doubt you will ever realise your mistakes let alone admit to them!

Again the total amount of shares shown on CMC doesn't reflect the shares that aren't receiving payouts as has been said many times before.

If you want transparency it has to go both ways and on that not I am not replying to anything else from you or zsp until you come forth transparently and not hiding behind your keyboard with a new account that has only posted in here...

I have way too much to be getting on with without having to respond to your immature uninformed posts on here.

Grow up and show your true self and stop wasting everyones time here.

Anyone that has had a problem with us in the past has got in touch with us and been told what they were asking about but you two have just come straight out of the blocks spouting BS about stuff you don't know. Making wild accusations that in any other business would be classed as slander... We have been extremely patient with you already.

Show us who you are or quit wasting ours and everyone else's time...

Simon, out.

where Banx.io 695 BTC profit, BitBanx 546 BTC profit and Banx Mint Software 288 BTC came from?

2% monthly dividends to all shareholders. That's 695 + 546 + 288 BTC paid out to "shareholders".

What we are you talking about?
If you mean "we" = existing investors, then we're good, we don't need you to visit, we've done our research thanks, and we know the numbers you are referring to...well, that you are obsessing about, are not relevant until the ICO is over.

You mean that because of two reasons. First thing is that all your Banx is currently worth 0.0034 BTC since no one wants to buy.
Or you are heavily invested and "locked" your "discounted" shares for 12 months.

Funny how you write exactly like Byron P and you want the worst situation possible for future and current investors.

You bought something for no chance at ever selling it and in return they give you 2% of it back every month. More like allowance than investing mate.

OK you seem to have missed the post about those profit projections being exactly that. PROJECTIONS once we are fully funded. Also we haven't been paying out 2% a month. It has been around 1.61% on average per month since we started PROFIT payouts...

I'm pretty sure you are UK based as well so I extend the same offer to you as we have to zsp. Give us your REAL name and where you are and we will pay your expenses to come and visit us in the offices and meet the team. Or you can stay hiding behind your new username and keep being a keyboard warrior. But kindly take your trolling elsewhere and let us get on with building this real business.

so we can work out the best way for you to get here.

Work out what?
Send 1 BTC to the above address and I will be in your office at 81 Market Street, Ashby De La Zouc, LE65 1AH at the time what you will post here in this public thread. If you tell me be there e.g. at 2 PM this Thursday or Friday that's fine, if you are available next week that's all right too, I am available at any time. There is no need private email conversations for this, we can keep everything transparent in this public thread.

As for Byrons response to you none of us here (including myself and Mark) have any issue with the way he responded.

That's what I thought and great you confirmed this in here.

You are in the UK. There is no way that any form of transport inside the UK costs 1BTC!!! We are a company and very busy and we have a booking system for meetings so either email zoe to get the meeting organised so we can get your expenses covered or kindly leave this thread and stop wasting our time. We will happily post the time in here once you have organised it with us privately.

I really don't understand what your issue is with using email to book a meeting just like everyone else on the planet these days. My guess from your insistance of us sending you 1BTC to "cover your costs" is that you just want us to send you money because you have already mentioned you are struggling for money...

If you want it all public then kindly post your address and REAL name on here so we can then post the details of train tickets for you and the cost of them for everyone to see how much it really costs and we will send you that money to cover those costs.

Can you drop zoe@banxcapital.com to arrange the timings of when you are coming to see us please and she will make the arrangements and get the money sent over to you to cover your expenses. Please let us know where you are so we can work out the best way for you to get here. If you are coming by train I will come and pick you up from the station or if you are driving then we will give you directions.

As for Byrons response to you none of us here (including myself and Mark) have any issue with the way he responded to your personal attacks on him and his software.

As has already been stated by others in the thread the numbers you are talking about are projections going forward after we have sold all of the available shares.

We look forward to seeing you in our offices next week.
