the reason you see it more with hyp is cause its stupid hard to stake hyp because of the competition on the network. your box's time is one of the easiest things you can tweak to be more competitive and receive less orphans
depending on what os you are using, you can do this via ntpd or timed. I quick search yielded this nice article on the two
It started early this year, suddenly lots of orphanes at times 9 out of 10 rewards. After try and error I was forced to block all incoming connections.
-system clock gets synced every 30 min. -only POS coin that has this problem.
Anyone else got this problem ?
I've only seen it when my clock is out of wack. And it was generally 3-4 times more stakes then normal. But all orphans.
It's very weird that it suddenly started to happen after running for years without any problems. Also using a different PC gave the same problems. Only sollution seems to be to block incoming connections but then it seems I pick up a lot less rewards as I normally would.
has anything changed in your network?

Re: [ANN] ⚫️ BLOCKPOOL - Real World B2B Blockchain Solutions ⚫️
there is a faucet somewhere to test the wallet ? was asking because i wanted to test the wallet : cryptopia wallet here: http://bplexp.blockpool.io/address/BBkdB21btF8bW3ReVc6b67KQkssKnnBeMd working and well funded , tried to send to coss wallet 1BPL and worked , tried to send 0,1 and seen after that the fee for a transaction is 0,1 BPL so no transaction on chain. still i can't understand how all the movements exchange make can be repaid with the fee they request cryptopia say 0,01 and are all 0,1 on chain. Coss receive well the coin will see for the desktop wallet if all is ok.
There is no faucet that I know of and the testnet is currently down for a reset. Sorry.
coss is a train wreck and I would recommend avoiding doing business with them. I have had bpl stuck there for over 90 days and only very recently heard from their so called support only to go quiet again.
cryptopia is not a lot better, but folks always get their coins in the end with varying wait times. they seem to be at least trying to sort their backend problems out.

Re: [ANN] ⚫️ BLOCKPOOL - Real World B2B Blockchain Solutions ⚫️
thanks to the dev team will continue to support this project and hopefully, in a year time we'll be in the top 10 in coinmarketcap
I can also see in the blockchain explorer that my address received the bpl tokens but in my desktop client theres zero transaction. I dont understand, this is my address on the explorer http://bplexp.cryptooz.com/address/BJA7kGjxsK4EnUNkC42EGFUJZNSYa5VAuD but when I open that same address in my desktop client there is no transaction.
BLOCKPOOL is a project that I'll not take seriously and did not participate in ICO, the tokens were sold at many cheap prices, what regrets! It's rare to find a project with people totally involved and willing to deliver the best! When will we have the mainnet?
Yeah, Loko and the crew are working like crazy.
I've had luck solving some goofy behavior from the desktop wallet by backing up and removing the data directory on windoze
Permission to post and forgive me for being annoying I thought they are distributing bounty, I pm both the campaign manager and developer but surprised that I didn't get a response, what is really the update in bounty distribution
if you noticed, most bounties are distributed weeks after the distribution of the tokens to the ico investors. it has been that way for years already. the team may distribute it all when bpl will be listed just as how they did with ARK. if you plan to hold, you wouldn't hurry things.
Yes I understand that but they have not asked for a wallet and you will have to download and send them to the campaign manager or dev I have downloaded the wallet and send them both to manager and dev and very annoyed that I am not getting a response
Yes but when I look at their site that calculates the current % stake it says it is 200%. It can go up to 1000% So why is it so low ? You are right I don't think I have enough coins yet. It just feels like the coin is not what was advertised. Those graphs can't be right.
HYP isn't like other wallets. It's like a game of chess. There are many factors involved and depending on how you play and what others do, your results can vary. Factors that affect your results are, how many coins you have, how your blocks are set up, how many people have their wallet on, how many people come and go, etc...
I have a large patch of grey hair that I named 'blocksize' because of HYP and trying to find that magic formula.
Those charts are totally right and what you are seeing is the inflation control at work.
