That is good....

If you want to test with my pool, use the credentials below.  I'll watch for activity on the stratum for your connection attempt and send results.  You can also see it on your console.

Host: stratum+tcp://hobbyistpool.ddns.net:4342
User: Miner.test
Password: x

I can't support or speak for nyc.mypool.club ....  but ...

TCP 3333 is what is on their page for port.  You can try to connect with telnet to see if the port is open to you.

You may need to add the telnet client via add remove programs and features ...
Then in a cmd window.... type
telnet  nyc.mypool.club 3333

If the cursor goes to the upper left of the screen,  Hit enter a few times, it should exit back to a prompt.  The port is open....
If it gives you a failed message,   It failed.

Your seeing access denied in the miner console?  then your pool username and password must be wrong.
