Re: Needs Some suggestion to find the best exchange....!!!!

I use Bitstamp, they do not offer the lowest fee rates but the interface is super easy and they offer security and strong capitalization plus excellent support. Sometimes they tend to hold some transactions longer than needed and to stall with additional verification which can be annoying. At the same time I use https://fox.exchange/pair/BTC-ETH. They offer instant exchange orders between coins so it comes useful every time you need to switch your coins since they do not demand any further verification. Instant, easy, with full anonymity.

Check fox.exchange https://www.fox.exchange/pair/BTC-ETH.
I recently found out about this one and it turned out to be great for quick, instant changes. Complete anonymity, no further steps or documentation needed, instantly performed trades. It is really handy anytime I need a quick exchange between coins. I've been using it for some time now and no downside so far.

Re: What token do you expect in 2019?
by
c-jones89

ETH, Cardano, XRP, BTCN. I expect that these coins will take their share in 2019. I don't expect any drastic bull run from BTC nor a star rocking price, but I expect the mentioned coins to follow BTC's growth.

The market is extremely volatile and if there is one thing that BTC's history taught us is that these kind of associations are unpredictable but the constant part of BTC's movement. It happened before and it will happen again.

Re: New Year Investment

If the question was which coin would be the first in CMC in the first 3 months of 2019, there would be no change there, BTC would remain the king for the years to come. However, if the question was which coin should we focus on investing in the 2019, I believe in XRP, ETH and BTCN. The list of first 20 coins on the Coin Market Cape is always a good starting point when you are making your decision about the investment. The coin that I mentioned, BTCN is a new unknown project that I firmly believe in. I am an enthusiast and I like looking for a hidden gem that could possibly make a difference in the market. BTCN has a good story with committed development team and it is already present in a couple of exchanges. It has a growing capitalisation moment and I have a good feeling about it so far.

Re: Amazon launches blockchain product
by

Didn't amazon tried the crypto currency purchase option at one time? I mean it wasn't a long lasting move but they tried it as far as I can remember, steam did the same thing and made buying games with bitcoin possible as well but now its gone as far as I can remember. I mean these type of companies are testing blockchain and crypto heavily but it needs to be either more stable or have a chance to convert easily at the same price very quickly in order to make these more stable. Otherwise why would these huge companies try it out.

Blockchain could definitely be a great improvement for amazon considering they sell millions of stuff every single day all over the world and keeping track of these could be a challenge whereas blockchain could cut the work hours a lot shorter with an easier code for them.

I agree completely! It seems highly unlikely that any of the giant companies will implement BTC as a payment option if the volatility is not somehow controlled and stabilised. For the time being, I don't expect to have a possibility to buy on Amazon using BTC.

Re: what is the best coin to buy now

I truly believe in ETH, it has a great potential and it can progress side by side with BTC. Also, XRP has been always a number one option if you wish to do a stop sell order and cash out quickly. The thing that I always like is to be find a new, unknown project to support and I am investing a lot of my time doing it. There are a lot of coins out there and some of them must be good. The project that I am currently looking at is BTCN. It has a great idea, supported by the transparency team. This is a great deal to me, when there are names behind the story.  This coin reached CMC in no time and it already has a strong and active community. Great potential, growing capitalisation and it is already present in couple of known exchanges.

We keep talking about that bullrun and predicting its moment and it seems to be prolonged more in the future as the time goes. I am wondering, what do you think that will tirger it? What is the situation or the moment that we are waiting that will start the reverse?

Re: Should leave the market?

If you are not looking for a long term investment and if you do not believe in BTC as a project, then probably yes, leave the market. But then again, if you held for the coins that you have for this long and you already lost the more that you can afford, do your pros and cons and see if the money that you will make by cashing out now will make any difference. My advice for all persons that held until now, no matter for what reason is to keep it a bit longer. However, if you truly believe in the project and the first action that you took into the market was primarily because of the project, then there is nothing to discuss further and we will wait together and participate in the market for it to reach 20k again.

Re: Will the Crypto market collapse
by
c-jones89
on 16/12/2018, 09:02:39 UTC
The market will survive as long as there will be someone trading, selling/buying or using a BTC as a payment method. I have recently discovered a whole community of people that are into using a BTC as a payment method. They don't care what the value of the coin will be, they simply don't want to have any more contact with the banks and they enjoy using a BTC for all their transfers, transactions and payments. This is the proof that it will prevail, we are all looking at different sides of BTC, have different expectations and exploring its different benefits.

Re: Which alts to buy?

If you want to buy to turn your money around and cash out in the near future, Ripple. I like Etherium as a long term investment. Also, Cardano and Dash seem appealing to me. If you are looking a new project to invest in, something that shows potential to make a success, I like BTCN. It has a good project and committed developing a team that is working 24/7 and seems to be dedicated to push it to the highs. This coin is pretty much completely unknown, but it reached CMC in no time and it's already active in a couple of credible exchanges. I like to so far and I've been following it for some time now, it's showing a steady progess.

Re: Is now the time to buy ALTs?

Definitely buy. It is the perfect time to enter the market due to the price drop. I am not sure what are you after but I always invest in couple of altcoins. My old favourites are XPR, Cardano and ETH. Also, I like to investigate new project and finde a potentially 'wow' idea that will make a boom in the future. The project that I am looking at and I've been monitoring for weeks now is called BTCN. The thing that I look at is always the idea and the transparency and acceptability of the team behind the project. You need to be able to communicate with the names behind the story. Also, this coin already has a strong community and is present in a couple of credible exchanges. It has good developing team for now and they seem to be committed to the story, we will see where will it take it.

Re: 130 Coffee Shops in Europe Started to Accept and Sell Crypto
by

on 13/12/2018, 22:08:17 UTC
This is a really bold move made by the owner/company or whoever is behind this business plan. Smart move as well, they will be coffee millionaires in the couple of years. Actions like this have wider and even unnoticeable effect whose impact will be shown later on in the years to come. The next should be Amazon or eBay or Aliexpress. But something like this can hardly be expected with the current volatility and the fluctuation of the price.

Re: Who wants to use Bitcoin?

Considering the current price drop, I don't think that anyone is thinking about the improvement of the coin itself. Trust in the coin has to be recuperated and community needs to support in enough for the further progress to be made. As far as I can see it, no one will be thinking about the next step till 2020. We need to enter into some calm and stabile fluctuate so that the future of the BTC and improvement can be worked on.

Buy Ripple, that is definitely a good call. I personally like ETH even though many doubt that it will survive the next year. Also, find some new unknown project to support that is worth the long term investment and support. My choice is BTCN. It is quite unknown and low ranked, but it has excellent project and names behind it. It already has a strong, active community and is present on several exchanges. With the right moves and active support, I believe that it has a great potential.

Re: You can start all over again

This is the point of view that I approve and respect. I understand that it is not easy to forget everything that you have done and invested so far, but think of it as a fresh start. Forget about the coins that you have stored so far and surprise yourselves with the amount of money that you will have in 2020. once BTC rules again. If you have the possibility, get more cash into it, it will be worth it.

Re: will bitcoin give surprise, ??
by
c-jones89
on 09/12/2018, 20:28:05 UTC
What kind of surprises are you expecting? It depends what are your expectation and the starting point in the whole situation. I don't expect surprises because I am sure that the price of the BTC will rise and it will survive. Market of crypto currencies is extremely volatile and turbulations like these are something that we should expect in the future and something that we have already had in the past. So, just pull it together, have faith in project that you have decided to invest your time and money in and that's it. We cannot expect an instant growth and I assume that January will bring us small progress but we will get there.

Re: Holding BTC at this satge is a bad idea?
by
c-jones89

Regarding that long post with red letters, money gets printed any time we need more, federal reserves are there to make sure we have enough cash.

I think that it is ridiculous for someone holding coins through the past couple of months to start selling now. The biggest wave has past and any further tribulation will be insignificant compared to the overall drop of the price. What is the worse that could happen? It will drop from 3.5k to 1k? That is nothing considering the bigger picture.

Re: When the Bitcoin value drops to $ 1. Is anyone else digging anymore?

Central Banks having their own crypto currencies seem like a reasonable next step to make compromise between centralised banking system and decentralised cryptos. This is a great step to push us to reverse of the price and something to show that there is still a community out there that trusts and is willing to support BTC. Looking forward to this.
