Re: ICOs asking for passport...is it safe?
by

Hi guys, as many of you already know, many ICOs are asking for passport verification. Is it safe to give pictures of your passport to groups we don't even know well, I mean there is something called passport misuse and identity theft or even using you passport for loans! It is concerning.
Most ICO now are requiring those kinds of document for identity purpose in requirements to KYC and AML regulations than had been implied lately by certain organizations. I think it is safe as long as you are into participation of legit ICO's it would just be as safe as when you pass your personal documents to HR department when applying a job or to bank when openning a bank account.

Re: Is it possible to find lost bitcoins?
by
ccris0637
on 08/02/2018, 17:33:12 UTC
As of now once a bitcoin is lost for example an owner lost his private key or other necessary credentials that is needed to access a BTC wallet then it will just be lost forever and stay in that wallet it is keep because currently there is still no way of accessing wallet through brute force or any decryption. This might possibly happen soon but would still take lots of calculation and time.

Re: what to do if bitcoin decreases?
by
ccris0637
on 08/02/2018, 16:49:58 UTC
bitcoin's value decreases, I would definitely look for an alternate cryptocurrency that shows potential and invest ok it.  I will make sure first that I don't oull out all of my bitcoins in such cases because bitcoins have already established itself and as such, will still find a way for its value to go up just like what happened last time.  I will keep a portion of whatever bitcoins I have and allot another on other currencies just to be sure.  Wait it out and then we'll see.

I'll make sure to research on other alt coins possible so that i know where my investments are going and just hope for the best that wherever I'm investing, luck will come my way
Same here. And I am considering by now adding percentage in my hodlings for eth specially now that our local bitcoin wallet already support ethereum transactions and cash in and cash out can already be done through eth directly unlike before that I have no choice but to trade fiat for btc first before being able to trade into other alts.

No I'm not excited, well I should be unfortunately even this red markets giving good opportunity to go shopping for low-valued coins I can't do i because my funds are all trap in other coins already and all of them is now half of price from before so I can't pull any fund from them to buy cheap alts.

Re: Ethreum the new king of crypto?

Ethereum is a really good coin and more stable that bitcoin specially today when lots of new ICO are launched and are based on ethereum platform unlike BTC that depend merely on trading volume in market (the amount people want to sell vs amount buyer are willing to buy) so if one day ETH dethrone BTC the it won't be that surprising.

Re: Dream house and financial freedom

My dream was to buy my own house and financialy stable. As i try to adopt bitcoin in my life he help me a lot specialy in financial. I starter to buy some things that i want and now i was dreaming that i can buy my own house from bitcoin. How about you what is you dream from bitcoin?
This is exactly how I imagine my journey the first time I met bitcoins and been informed about what  this crypto world can offer. At first, I did look at bitcoin and other alts as simple as I just need click buttons and get money for it or just need to pull some cash from my pocket and buy alts then wait until it can give me enough fund to buy my own house and be financially free. As time pass, my perspective changed, I have learn that being engaged in cryptocurrency for brighter future is such a complicated thing which can make you rich (yes it's possible) but involves a lot of risk on the way and need a good decision making and patience to know everything.

Re: Are Airdrops Profitable?
by
ccris0637
on 02/02/2018, 17:04:55 UTC
Well airdrops anyways is just free, some requires little task that would spend you few minutes and some required hodling certain coin, so in my opinion there's nothing worth much regret participating in airdrop. Lucky if an airdropped coin you acquired pump and you happen to sell them in huge price but if not, then it's still okay coz you won't loss something too much valuable.

Re: The reason why many altcoin is important
by
ccris0637

What a brilliant counter- thread to ' too many ICO'  etc. People that believe there are to many altcoin are simply short sighted. The market value of cryptocurrency is still very small compare to market value of NYSE etc. We need as many altcoin as possible to remain competitive.

But in the case of "too many ICOs", doesn't that encourage more shitty/scammier ICOs? Since it's easier to go by unnoticed.

Possibly yes, but even there are limited number of new ICO there would still be a way for thieves to scam people. There are also already lots of ICO before that turned out to be scam like crazybet and project C, to name few. ICO is a good way of funding a project but also an easy way for culprits to make easy money.

Bitcoin bubble or not should not make any argument between non-believers and believers. Considering bitcoin bubble prophecy would really brought into reality then we must just be all asking when exactly it will happen because that's what is more important I guessed in both party.

Re: Biggest Problem of your Country ??
by

THere had been lots of crimes recorded and add up daily in my country though counts are being diminished day by day due to the current administration determined act to reduced crimes like killings and drugs. As of now, the biggest problem in our country would be the extremely slow and uncomfortable speed of internet because it affects not only ordinary people but even rich ones who have money to buy the highest speed possible but it's simply can't provide by ISP operating in our country.

Re: looking to hire a bounty hunter !

Hey

so as the title says i have a twitter account with about 8000 followers and since im kinda busy right now im looking for someone who is wiling to take that account and participate in twitter campaigns and he can get a  50/50 shares of the profit.
so if anyone interested in this please reply to this thread or shoot me a pm.

thank you for your time.
twitter campaigns are very small despite having many followers, I myself have never followed the twitter campaign, the number of twitter campaign participants is too much, that's what makes me lazy to be in twitter campaign.
i really think that 8000 followers is a good number i used to make like 100usd/day by participating in campaign
the more followers you have the more rewards you will get !

I guess your so lucky in joining twitter camp or just have good eye looking for successful project in future to make 100$ daily I know someone who is joining up to 200twitter campaigns with report and no reports but not making that uge earning he even discourage me joining social media campaign because it takes so much time doing task for only small amount of rewards at end.

I think for gambling sites who are operating legally yes they pay taxes in response with their base country regulation just same with gambling casino who are using fiat money casinos with permit to operate pay taxes and those small time gambling are not but consider illegal and would pay fines if ever they are caught into operation.

PRL is already in U-Coin exchange.. maybe 1$ to 5$..if they would list to big exchange it will be better..

I'm hoping for price to reach this value but I guess it would still takes few months looking on charts the price movement is quite slow and volume is pretty little I had managed to buy on etherdelta on november when they distribute tokens for 0.5 eth 30k prl and Im waiting to make profits good to see it start to pump last week.

Dev's plan to add the PRL on the other exchange and if they could do that they can maximize the tradings of their tokens and possibly it could bring good hype for their coin to gain more value. But seems their are holders who got their tokens from bounty and airdrop still crashing the market and maybe if they are done to dump their balance off, we might see these coin pump harder in future.
Maybe lots of hunters already dispose much of their tokens because movement in etherdelta is not fast like on the first few days after it listed there and bounties are given. I like it when hunters are dumping their tokens after distribution specially if ICO is success and project is realistic and with high potential, those time are always good time to buy coins in bargain price.
