It's not exaggerated.  Your first reply was immediately after I opened a ticket and that was to say that the wire went through and to check with my bank (6/26).  Since then, I have written every day asking for the confirmation number of the wire, per the bank's request, which you still haven't provided.  I am asking, again - to please send me the confirmation or transaction number of the wire.  The bank can help me with it if you would provide that information.

Your second reply wasn't until I had to get on a public board and was yesterday (over a week later), after countless emails, where you said that you would get the matter taken care of yesterday (7/3) and not only didn't take care of it, but never sent me an apology or an explanation or update of what's going on.

So, please do not tell me that my complaints are exaggerated.  I have stated the exact truth of events, including the fact that this was my mistake in the first place by entering the wrong zip code and that I've had dozens of successful transactions go through with no problems but this is unacceptable to hold someone's money for over a week with very little help or explanation.  People should know that this is the treatment they should expect when dealing with your company, when, or if something goes wrong with their transaction.

I will consider a dwolla account, but right now I'm just trying to 1) Get my money back from them, and 2) Warn people that this is not a good company to do business with.

I have posted my issue in more depth on the "Is CampBX a ripoff" thread but this one is more active.  I'm just desperate at this point and worried they really are stealing my money and since there is no way to actually locate/contact them it's a bigger issue.

Keyur contacted me saying the issue would be fixed that day.  As of 7/3 it still hasn't.  No one has contacted me even though I've written dozens of emails.  What's starting to make me really worry about this company is all that I need is a confirmation or transaction number of the wire they supposedly sent and in 10 days, they can't produce one??  If this is truly a legit company, how is it possible that they don't have the wire confirmation?  I just want my money back and we can part ways.  If anyone knows what kind of legal action I can take, please let me know.  It would be greatly appreciated.

CAMPBX IS RIPPING PEOPLE OFF!!  PLEASE READ!

I was thinking that this company was legit but their customer service was bad, but now I'm starting to think they really are ripping people off!  I have close to $1000 still missing from 6/25 and I can't even get them to give me a confirmation number on the wire.  I have opened half dozen tickets.  I've emailed them every single day since 6/25 and I cannot get a response.. I've event posted here and no one from campbx will fix this.  Two days ago, I got a response from Keyur that just had one line, "This will be fixed today" and as of 7/4 it still hasn't!  No apology for anything, nothing...  At the very least, I just need a confirmation number of the wire they supposedly sent and its been 10 days and they still can't even produce that!!  How is that possible?

They just stole $1000 dollars from me.  Money that I really need. If anyone knows what kind of legal actions I can take,  please message me.  Should I contact a lawyer?

And for anyone who is considering using this company, just be forewarned that they are keeping peoples money and there is no way to get a hold of them except emails, which they just ignore.  I'm an honest person who has been in the bitcoin community for over a year now and have never been ripped off like this.  I once had an issue with bitinstant, but they not only fixed the issue but they responded to emails and calls as you would expect.

If anyone can help me on what I can do, please message me!

I am never going to use this company again!!   This is the second time that I have had money missing and have gotten completely ignored for days!!  There is really no excuse for it.  The first time, I wired $980 and I didn't know that you could only use one bank account to wire money to.  The matter was fixed after about a week, but my emails were ignored until I threatened to come on the boards and let people know what I have been going through.  After issuing a threat, I got a response within 10 minutes.  But why make a customer wait a week for a simple response to an email!  I thought maybe this was a one-time problem and decided to give them another chance...

And here we are again!  I am missing $960 and have emailed them, messaged them, and opened tickets EVERY, SINGLE DAY since June 25th... and nothing.  I have gotten no response what-so-ever.  I am trying to post here as a last resort to get my money returned to me!

If you were smart, you would stay away from this company!  Unless you can afford to take the chance of your money being held in limbo for days or weeks on end.  I cannot!

If you are listening CampBX --- RETURN MY MONEY!!!  So, we can part our ways

I have been using CampBX for about a month with no complaints.  However, last week on Friday I selected to withdraw $1,000 by wire to my bank account.  It showed that it was still "Pending" until Monday and then it was gone from my CampBX account so I thought everything was fine but no money ever showed up in my BOA account.  I even called BOA and they said that they don't see any incoming wires for my account!!  It's now been 5 days since my request for withdrawal and I'm still missing my money.  Has this happened to anyone before?

Thanks

Seven days later, after multiple broken promises for "delivery the next business day," offers to refund, and subsequent refusals to refund, I finally received my order in my wallet.

It popped up in my "unconfirmed" balance moments after I sent a support message saying my next visit was to file a complaint on the BBB's web site.

Probably just a coincidence. Regardless, thank you Bitinstant for finally getting this resolved.

Same thing here.  It's been over a week and I've talked to at least one person (by email) every day.  Yesterday, I got like 5 different messages and I was super hopeful... but here I am again with nothing but more "next business day" promises.  I've even lost all faith in Yankee.  He contacted me like three times yesterday and said that he'd be right on it.  All I got from that was an additional email from Seth and one from Rachel asking me for my order info for the 10th time!!

You are the second person that I've seen up here that got their coins right after threatening to call a government agency.  I'm glad you finally got your money.  It's just sad that's what it takes to get someone over at Bitinstant to give you what's rightfully yours.  Did you call them and file an actual complaint?  How do you go about doing that?

Just and update on my situation.

It's been a week today and I still haven't received my coins (missing ~$900 worth).  I did get a PM from Yankee this morning saying he'd look into it, but nothing after.  I rewrote him asking for status and he got right back to me asking for my order info again.  I also got another message from Rachel this afternoon asking for my order information again.  Hopefully, all this activity will result in getting my coins.

Good luck, everyone!

Mia

Is a refund an option?  I'd much rather just get my money back then deal with this.  Does ZipZap refund the money?  How does that work?

Tomorrow, it'll be an entire week and all I've got is two empty promises from Bitinstant that my coins will be in my wallet "next business day".  Angry

Yankee,

I cannot PM you so I'm posting here.  I had three orders last week.  One went through and two didn't.

The ZipZap Account #s are:

ZipZap Account# 717574362 $503.95
ZipZap Account# 852420363 $503.95
ZipZap Account# 741533004 $353.95

Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.  I have been waiting since last Wednesday for this to be resolved

I posted this comment elsewhere before I found this, but I'm extremely upset with the Bitinstant right now.  I wasn't having any issues, until recently.  My last 4 orders have taken days to get through and I've been completely ignored by customer service staff.

I don't know what to do at this point, either.  I've been writing the support team (politely) since last Wednesday and I have gotten two responses (out of several messages).  The first ticket was apparently opened by Rachel last week, but nothing came of it-- no coins and no follow-up.

A second ticket was opened (by Seth) yesterday and their was still no follow-up to a question and no coins.  I am still missing close to $1,000 worth of money and losing my own customers and no one seems to care.  I really just want my funds and go somewhere else.

I keep giving it a try but this happened to me on 12/10, 1/28, 1/29, and now 2/14...  The one and only time this was fixed quickly (in under 3-4 days) was on 12/10 - I talked to Rachel on the phone, panicked because I was missing close to $1,500 and she pushed it through within hours.

Based on the declining service I've been experiencing, I no longer believe this is a viable company.  I also don't think that I should have to pay 4% convenience fee that actually locks up my money for days, causing my business to lose customers.

I will update my post when (or if) this gets resolved.

I wouldn't be so quick to write this off.  I wasn't having any issues with Bitinstant until recently.  My last 4 orders have taken days to get through and I've been completely ignored by their staff.

I understand the frustration since I don't know what to do at this point, either.  I've been writing their support team (politely) since last Wednesday and I have gotten two responses (out of several messages).  The first ticket was apparently opened by Rachel last week, but nothing came of it-- no coins and no follow-up.

I will update my post when this gets resolved.
