Had a good chat today in discord. Things are looking pretty bright on this one. Once the Hub gets up and running the options are wide open to get marketing and sponsorship rolling. I'm looking forward to making my first transaction for goods with crypto.
I agree nice little community and keen developers and solid masternodes up (including mine). What I am not sure about is how many miners are around...as far I understand a bit short of miners? anyone knows why? little reward? good luck dixi!
Hello guys! I am new to the masternodes business and I was thinking to start with a masternode of Dixicoin. Is anyone running one? I found this resource on online: https://masternode-setup.com/dxc/ Any other advice? Cryptobridge is the only place to buy dixicoin for the stake, right?
http://www.dixicoin.net/ ==================================================== Yes. You can buy on cryptobridge.
Thank you. V. helpful. Very last question/confirmation. Masternodes rewards has started since block 5000? So if I set up the node now (assuming I do it correctly! ;-) will I start receiving rewards? Anyome running a masternode on this thread who can confirm?

hahahaha! Definitely an old thread, I barely remember when I started it! I saw this thread flagging again, and wondered "what the hell is going on!?!!" I am afraid not sure what is out there anymore, but this seems good! https://miningpoolhub.com/

Hello guys!
New to the steemit world, but liking so far! Do you know if there is a good plugin for wordpress? I have found an official wordpress that allows pushing steem post into wordpress (https://wordpress.org/plugins/steemit-feed/). Any working plugin that allows pushing wordpress posts into steemit, assuming you have an account obviously? Anyone working on it?
thank you

Re: List of profit-switching mining pools for scrypt-based cryptocurrencies
Pushed a "gridseed" branch to the main BFGMiner git based on nwoolls's code. I'm not sure how these are supposed to perform, but I get some inconsistent results in benchmark mode:
How's it work for others who have been using them in production?
I've been using it for a while with my gridseeds with no issues but with the dualminers every time it hits a HW error it seems to stop submitting shares to the pool. I could go to manage devices disable processor and reenable and it submits shares for a bit then stops. I've compiled it twice and still the same both times.
That's why I lovered Dualminer frequency to 800, but this only makes babysitting Dualminers easier, not eliminating it.
I've tried it clocked at 850 and default. It does run a little longer but still stops.
Same with me. GSD round miners working great, but dualminer "stick", often stop submitting shares to the pool. thank you

Re: List of profit-switching mining pools for scrypt-based cryptocurrencies
Wafflepool is 2% now, up from 1% like last week. http://wafflepool.com/ "2% mining fee - This includes all transaction fees, and fees for converting to BTC"
Scratch that, theres http://coinshift.com/ They are unique as they rank the most profitable coins, and spread the hash rate across the most profitable ones, with bias toward the more profitable ones. This avoids difficulty jumps, and forks.
Thank you darkfriend77! this is a great guide! We will try to release a new version of scripta where people don't need to do all this... Ideally Scripta should be able to discover different hardware devices (gridseed 5 chips, dualminer and others) and associate each device to a cgminer and a set of parameters, along with the pools the dev should mine on. We have posted a TODO file on github about this and if someone wants to join the team (also for other aspects) please feel free to send me a PM or play with the Git! https://github.com/scriptamining/scripta/blob/master/TODO P.S. Apologies if slightly off topic, but I thought it was relevant...
Anyone who has a Rapsberry Pi should try this: https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=9908.msg138204#msg138204 Works perfectly for me. Actually even if you don't have a Raspberry, just buy one. No messing around with junk controllers, no Windows USB drivers. Plug and play.
Suchmoon, I am glad to see that Scripta + new cgminer (from Andareed) is working well. We are now trying to set up a way to discover hardware devices (gridseed5chips, dualminers or ltcgear and soon hopefully more!!), and associate each device to an executable and a set of parameters, along with the pools the dev should mine on. We have posted a TODO file on github about this and if someone wants to join the team please feel free to send me a PM or play with the Git! https://github.com/scriptamining/scripta/blob/master/TODO

Re: LightningAsic usb miners based Gridseed GC3355 Tech Support Thread
If you don't want to run a bunch of cpuminers, I have posted modified cgminer sources to allow LTC-only mode: https://github.com/dtbartle/cgminer-gc3355. I have this running on a Raspberry Pi with 10 devices.
Thanks CH... Does it work with Ras. PI only or I can hook them all up direct to your cgminer via usb hub?
Not sure I got the question right...but what I am using is a Raspberry Pi (with Scripta) and D-link USB Hub where I plugged a gridseed 5 chip miner (I believe you could plug more units...but I have only one...sadly!). Is not my cgminer...is Andareed version!

https://pool.cryptopros.com We offer 2 Auto-switching pools (ASM) both Scrypt and SHA-256, 20 Scrypt coin pools and 5 SHA-256 pools. Our scrypt hash total is around 15k MH/s and 11 TH/s SHA-256.
