Because own chain needs miners, and if there aren't enough miners it can be attacked by difficulty spikes, which is exactly what happened. With an ETH token, it can't happen. Natural evolution I'd say, coins having own chains (1st gen cypto) that are not tech pioneers in some way (like Ethereum) are obsolete nowadays. Eth tokens are more convenient in so many ways (no separate wallet, no need for miners, etc.).

The swap will likely happen, as CTIC3 exists (why create the token if no swap is done? - well, maybe to lure people to buy, but I doubt), but whether the project is a scam or not is yet to be seen (I'd give a higher probability that it's a scam than not).

The address I linked above (0x7b464104ae7c222f9928af221b8d6ae9d308b19c) is currently holding almost all of CTIC3 (101,795,000 CTIC3), 200,000 were sent to another address (first to 0x4f84339a9c78ef587f6e74956b9f68a759439934 and then directly to 0x2984581ece53a4390d1f568673cf693139c97049) which is most likely cryptopia. If c-cex really is doing the swap, that means that the address with the 101,795,000 CTIC3 is c-cex, and they sent 200,000 to cryptopia (perhaps through a middleman) to front-run trade the swap.

The dev evades to answer or clarify these addresses/transfers on purpose, which is a huge red flag.

Where did you read FUDing in what I wrote? I wrote that I'm upset because there is ZERO information on the official website (dcorp.it) about voting, about a FAQ, about a new website coming, about an upcoming vote, or anything in general, and so doing random google searches about dcorp all of a sudden I notice there as impending voting is coming.
Show me where can I find any of the above on the official website! I have to hunt around on twitter and on the posts here that all of a sudden "telegram" is the official channel now, then go up there, ask the same questions that probably hundreds of people have already asked. All of which can be avoided by placing a few lines of static text on their site.

This is not FUDing, just someone being upset because I don't read every single post on every random channel (ANN thread, twitter, telegram, whatever) every day to know what is happening.
EDIT: So basically put yourself in my shoes, you suddenly notice that "OMG, there is voting tomorrow, how can I vote, where is official info?", then you hunt around and find nothing concrete or official. That is upsetting.

The blockchain gets stuck for many hours frequently, it usually get moving within 12-24 hours, so it will get processed eventually.
