Re: UK government fools will sell the bitcoin
by

Selling bitcoin at this price does look like a good idea, not sure if that's a bad thing or not. I get that some people may consider this bad, because lets be honest UK is mismanaging their funds, but bitcoin was never a good thing for the governments.

IMF is very against it, look at El Salvador, they are saying it is not even legal tender there anymore, because governments realize, they can't just put money aside, they are spending way too much, and saving is not ta thing they do. I know we all wish they did, but they spend more than they earn, hence they print money, so in a situation like that, saving aside makes no sense. They need to sell all they have, in order to tell people they need more, otherwise, if they have billions aside, you can't tax people more, they will just tell the government to sell more.

Barcelona is struggling with serious financial problems, and expensive transfers in the past have made this situation worse. Williams will look great on the left wing in Barcelona. This is good news for Barcelona. In other words, it is very good that the club came to almost bankruptcy in 2022 due to financial difficulties and still has such a squad and can still make good transfers.
They are increasing the risk in order to get more return on their investments, the aim is to create the best team and add the perfect to the current squad.
Barcelona won the domestic treble last season and of course this has given them some advantages. They may not have managed to get out of bankruptcy but at least they have the money to bring in Williams this season. Yes Barcelona still have critical financial problems but at least their situation this season is a little better. If Williams joins Barcelona it will make El Classico very interesting next season. Madrid have managed to fix the shortcomings in their defense and Barca have managed to strengthen their front line. I hope the transfer can be realized and wait for Fabrizio to say "here we go" on his social media.
Are we sure of this? Where can we check their finances and cap space situation? I always hear that they are in debt, or they are in trouble or they have no space left and what not, but I never get to actually see how much and what to do. Like I know this was the exact reason why they had to let Messi go, otherwise that dude would have stayed until now, but they couldn't and now they are saying oh we won some stuff and get whoever we want, was it just based on a win?

Like one league title and one cup and they are out of debt? I would like to see their debt situation and cap space situation if there is any website that shares it. Nico seems like a lot of money to buy, and a lot of money to sign himself as well, feels quite shocking to hear they can afford him.

Re: 2025 NBA Season

He's been inconsistent the whole series and imagine that he supposed to be the second option on their team but sadly he can't deliver.

Randle only score good points on game 1 but after that he became nothing as its like he's not there. Maybe Wolves would create good adjustment and find those player that can provide quality numbers. Because if Randle will always play like that for sure they won't win against OKC just like what we are seeing on this series. But I guess this will be the end for Wolves and with the latest win this sealed up the position of OKC to be the champion on their conference and could advance on Finals.
That's actually the reason why he was traded. Inconsistency. The Knicks truly won that trade, and it's showing now. KAT is helping the Knicks to win the series while Randle is on and off. Although the Knicks lost twice against the Pacers, KAT's stats are up, and he has been phenomenal on the offensive end.
Without McDaniels and Alexander-Walker, the Timberwolves would've lost in a blowout. Neither Anthony Edwards nor Randle is playing good offensively.

OKC will probably finish this at home with a blowout again.
KAT is always that player. Back when he was at Wolves for so many years, he always looked great but then we ended up seeing them lose and not do great. He is the type of player who doesn't make others around him better, he basically consumes energy and then they end up losing because of him being great. That does exists, Butler was sort of like that too, mainly at Bulls and Sixers.

Some players just get amazing stats, but cost of them getting amazing stats usually ends up being a loss. KAT was like that at Wolves, he played awesome, he had amazing stats, but then we saw them lose, most people said it was because he was at a bad team, but Knicks isn't great because they have superstars, Brunson is the only good player there. So KAT could be at anywhere, and it could have improved.

I was really surprised with the performance of Aston Villa against Newcastle. Newcastle was also a team that dismantled Crystal palace that was a strong team before coming up against Aston Villa. I was really confused on who will win. That match had all the attributes to play a draw but unfortunately Aston Villa took it personal. Maybe they were driven by the quest to get back to the champions league, given the way they were knocked out from the tournament. Unai Emery said Aston Villa deserved to play in the champions league again and their performance seems like they mean business. Scoring 4 against Newcastle is still something I can't comprehend. I feel sorry for Chelsea and Nottingham forest because with this form that Aston Villa are right now there is nothing that will stop them from picking up a place in the champions league spot.
Both Aston Villa and Newcastle United currently are on same level of performance but here home advantage works for Aston Villa and they have done impressive job which handed them big win specially after their exit from Champions League now they have good motivation for perfuming like this because this can give them another season into Champions League.

Both teams play open game which increase chance of attacking but in this game Aston Villa were really on target at the end of first half things were looking balanced but in second half Aston Villa were amazing with their passes and conversation which allow them to have thumbing win in this game. Now 5 games left in season their next challenge is against Manchester City at Etihad Stadium which is surely not easy but still they are having fair chance of going into top 5 which will give them another chance of going into Champions League.

Amorim has made his wishes known to the club recently that he needs funds to make player purchases. In an article I read he sent clear warning to the management of the club that if Anthony must leave there must be a good replacement for him. Honestly I think it is time for the club management to work in cooperation with Amorim to bring the change desired, Amorim is an ambitious coach and he looks to know what he wants and what he is doing, he should be given benefit of doubt and the finances to make that change happen.
A player leaves, another player can join and it is very normal demand for a head coach. Anthony has several seasons in Manchester United but failed, I can say he failed, to show his best and over years his contributions for them are very limited. If Amorim wants Anthony staying in the club, and has his plans to use this player, I am doubtful that he will succeed with Anthony. The player seems to reach his limit and can not contribute more for the club and perhaps it's better for all if they have agreement for his departure.
While I agree in most cases when "a player leaves, a player should join" type of mindset. However, we are talking about Antony here, not like he was contributing anything anyways. Which means that we are talking about a situation where there isn't really anything that should be replaced, hence they may not get anyone instead of Antony.

However, they should get some players, not because Antony left, but because the players they have right now aren't good enough and that's the only reason, if they keep playing with the same squad, I am sure that they will do fine, not great but just fine, but that's about it and I am not really seeing how things could change for them to get better, hence they do need better players. I specially look at the offense these days, defense has always been bad at United, for like nearly five years now and they still haven't fixed it, but nowadays even offense looks bad, they at least had a good offense during that time, maybe they should look into getting some wingers.

Manchester City is definitely back, they are getting great results, this easy win for them is not just three points but it is also a way to feel better and more welcome as well. They will have great morale and confidence after this game, so winning could become a lot better for them, which could even help them with the PSG game as well.

This isn't a simple thing, but we need to realize that it is not going to be all that much of a big trouble at all. They are six points away from second place, which isn't that bad for City, if they can keep this momentum going then we could see them end up getting there. I do not think anyone is taking this season away from Liverpool, but at the very least City could fight for a second place.

You shouldn't run into conclusions on which club will be in the finals. Liverpool is still hopeful than Arsenal, because Tottenham only scored one goal. If Liverpool can win with two goals ahead, they will definitely be in the finals because Tottenham is not consistent. Arsenal might not qualify to the finals, because they need three goals to be in the finals and Newcastle is consistent in their matches.
I am pretty sure that Liverpool just simply doesn't look like they care about the EFL cup at all. Maybe they will recover and do better but I am not so sure that they even want to. Remember, this team is also on FA cup and they are also in the League and they are also on UCL all at the same time, which shows how this could be a very tough deal for them and not really look like it would make sense.

This is why I believe we may see Liverpool just not play with 100% here. In any case, I disagree with the notion that Liverpool may have hit the truck like City, just because they had a few bad results back to back doesn't mean that they are going to keep doing worse, it is not really something we should be concerned with, they are still a good team and I still think they will win the EPL as well. That's the most important part, not sure how well they can do at UCL but I am sure that they are going to end up winning the premier league and that's all that matters.

Re: ⚽ Lega Serie A 🇮🇹 (Italian League) Prediction Thread 2024/2025⚽

Definitely a great momentum for Inter, they won last week and now won in cup and they are going to go and win the league again too. I feel like they are doing amazing at this point, feels like it's a great situation for them. Maybe it's just me, but I am starting to believe that they will win the league again.

The main reason is that, the more time passes, the harder it gets for other teams to keep up winning, sure it's great to have a good averages for the first 10 weeks or so, it's harder after 15th week, but after 20-25 weeks passes until the very end,  it's troublesome. Most players are tired, some are injured, some gets cards easily, so all of it becomes a trouble and we should consider that Inter could be the one who keeps it going.

While I do agree that bull season is in full effect and we are going to do fine, we also need to remember that this isn't some magical situation XRP is in, it's a pump and it will pass, we are not going to see it keep that third spot, I am sure of it. USDT will take that first but also XRP will go under SOL and BNB as well, but that's about it, I do not see it go under anymore, just those. Which would make it 6th, and that's a logical number and it will probably stay there for a while.

And by a while I mean like years, and that is why if you really want to invest go ahead and do it but I will not, I have enough on my portfolio that I do not need a centralized currency anymore, I do not even hold USDT let alone would consider XRP.

That's a rough loss man! I can't imagine betting $3k on a 120 odds parlay. I think I saw this bet on Twitter or Telegram stake angels chat maybe, don't remember where but this is some sick stuff. If I was you, I would rather bet $500 on all games separately because if you can guess 8-10 bets correctly then single bets would earn you a lot more on average.

Stake used to have justice payout or something like that promote where they would refund such close calls randomly for bettors. I don't think it exists any more now but you would definitely qualify if that was still running. Good luck with your next bets Smiley.

Re: 2024 U.S. Presidential Election Bets!

With the way things are going, it looks like Republicans will control everything. We are talking about presidency, house, senate, scotus, everything basically, and in most cases they have state level officials too. So that means both great for republicans but also terrible for them as well. Betting was easy, everyone knew that Trump was high favourites lately, so betting made it easy to win.

But for republicans, this means, either they do amazing job, so people would be glad to elect them, or if anything goes wrong, then they are the only one responsible for it. There is absolutely nobody stopping them from doing anything, so either they do good, or they are going to be hated a lot, they have no excuses to do badly now, they can't avoid being great or hated.

Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2024/25
by
darewaller
on 05/11/2024, 20:48:02 UTC
Overall Barcelona is the strongest team in La Liga this season with the most points scored compared to other teams. Barcelona is playing very charismatically under Hansi Flick's coaching and the title will be waiting at the end of the season. Even though Barcelona has beaten Real Madrid and Bayern Minich's in the Champions League, it is not certain optimistic about becoming La Liga champions in the coming season. Hansi Flick still has a long way to go in the league, he needs to be consistent in maintaining victory in every next match, I think Real Madrid will improve their statistics so they can catch up with Barcelona on points and will compete closely in the next match.
While Hansi Flick definitely is the main reason why they got this good, lets not forget to give Xavi credit for playing all these young players and getting them some time and helping them show their talents as well. For example, Lamine Yamal was already playing there before Flick, that dude became the starter at Barcelona at 16 years old when Xavi was there, in fact, thanks to that he was able to play for Spain at 16 as well.

So we need to remember, all these young talents that Hansi Flick could use? They came from the fact that Xavi didn't hesitated using La Masia. Of course that also ties to the fact that Barcelona has financial issues, and that meant they can't spend too much money on players, hence why they used their own youth players.

Re: Why do you think it's best to consistently use the same exchange?
by
darewaller
on 15/10/2024, 20:55:24 UTC
If you are unsure about where you are using and want to change then just change it, there is no reason to ask others about it. Consistently using the same exchange people like what they are doing and this is why they are not changing it, personal reasons basically, there is nothing they want to change to, if you are not sure and don't want to use the same place then you have the freedom to use another exchange after a while, just like they have the right to keep the same place as well.

I believe the best thing you can do in this case would be just focusing on what you can do with your own personal investments and ignore what others do with it. Just because you have something big or small, doesn't mean it will be different.

Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for September
by

on 27/09/2024, 16:08:03 UTC
Roughly estimating what bitcoin will do is a hard thing, we have seen this from the previous polls where while some people were right, some were wrong and that is why it is going to be the same. This time it is a bit bigger gap, so many people of course picked that big gap since that would be the most likely result and I did the same as well but I have to say it is not really that clear at all, it could very well end up being above 65k, it is not that far away and we could definitely end up with a good return if we could keep this going as well.

But bitcoin price did alright and we can see it keep going higher. If this month goes on like how it started then seeing above 65k shouldn't be that hard and we can make some return without a trouble. Of course it is not an easy thing to do and we can see this growing bigger with time.

Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A)

To be fair Milan definitely got a managerial upgrade, there is no doubt that they are going to do better than what Pioli showed so far, there isn't really any doubt about that. But, the question in minds right now is that if it's enough? I mean sure lets say that manager is good enough to make a team champions, but you can't make Monza the champions, that's not going to happen right?

There are only a set amount of teams that could do that, and Inter is doing great so far, hell even Juventus is doing fine, do we know if Milan has the squad to win the title or not? Manager could be as great as it gets, but if there is another team that plays amazingly well, then the manager doesn't matter. That's what we need to see this season.

Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season
by
darewaller
on 01/08/2024, 19:03:31 UTC
The UCL League and Europa League next season will indeed be very interesting, especially with the new format, of course this will be a burden for all teams because the schedule is too busy so that it requires smart coaches to rotate players. With the new format like now, it is the same as torture for players because they have to play in the domestic league, plus the Champions League or Europe with a domestic league model without a group phase, if the coach is not smart in rotating players, then the team players will experience a storm of injuries.
I think all coaches will find a way to create a new strategy in dealing with the new format next season so that their players do not get tired easily and are not easily injured due to the density of matches in a fairly close time. And yes, any coach must be smart enough in managing and rotating each of their players so that the team remains in better condition with mainstay players who do not easily lose their stamina due to this. But I also think that in implementing the new format, of course, it will not be easy for anyone because everyone is still not used to it.
While they will "try" to find a way, I am not sure if all of them will be able to do it or not, it would not be all that simple. We are going to end up with something that will get a bit of time before we could see something changing. All in all, we are going to end up with all of the coaches trying to rest more players, with this many games they will have to push league a bit back, which could be a problem for most of the players.

I mean think about it, europa teams are not really that good at the league most of the time, unless they are like Leverkusen last year, which means that if they also not show that much success at the league so if they also start not caring about the league to rest the players they will lose even more games and rank even worse at standings.

So all of this is a bit of a trouble for most of these teams, they are going to have a lot more trouble and because of that I think most of the teams will decide not to care about this league at all. We are going to end up with something a little worse, it's going to end up with a bit of a problem. I think it's going to be tough, but we could still make that work one way or another if they get a high depth squad.
