A lot of people still don't really get what large language models like Meta AI can actually do these days.  These LLMs are trained using large stacks of text and code, but they can still mess up or say stuff that's not quite right, 'specially with complicated topics.  Like you saw, Meta AI probably just linked you to where it got its info from showing it has limits.  It cant check out or break down info it finds on its own.  I'd say it's best for communication and summing stuff up, but AIs are nowhere near perfect when it comes to facts.

Re: Wazamba & 22Bet.com refusing to pay

Since many dont believe, https://i.imgur.com/Gm8FYrg.png screenshot of wazambas withdrawal and the date, btw. 22Bet.com paid me out the first time i requested a payout, it was around $30, but it was almost instant, that baited me to deposit more and play, and there i can only screenshot balance, since withdrawal history is for past week maybe, and i requested before that and got rejected.

I haven't heard of this Wazambas casino either.  As for 22Bet casino, from what I read on gambling forums, it might actually be the same owners as 1xbet and 1xbit.  Those guys apparently have a real bad rep for not letting players withdraw winnings and things like that.  Selective scamming, I think they called it.  So yeah no wonder you're having issues getting your money back from them.  I'd stay away from sites like that if I were you.  Stick to the more well known places that have been around a while.  At least that way youve got some shot at cashing out when you win.

One of biggest disadvantage in your platform is you're asking users must to install your software, many people choose to play in web-based instead of installing something especially not really popular. If your poker can run without need to install the software, it will be better.

True, I’m currently getting an error message when I tried installing your app in my iOS. You should at least create something for those who do not welcome the idea of having to download an app before they can use your site to bet.

It's kind of obvious, but I'll say it anyway - having a completely decentralized poker platform with just a website and no download is practically impossible.  A website would mean you'd have to trust some main server to handle things, which ruins the whole decentralization idea.

I mean, it makes sense why someone might want that - just hop on a site and play no hassle.  But the tech doesnt really allow for it if you truly want a decentralized platform. Adn yeah, that means a download is pretty much mandatory.

Launching a new online betting and casino website sure ain't no picnic.  You gotta think about stuff like licenses, payment systems, marketing, customer service teams, reputation...  Getting the software and APIs is the easy part and  those are just the tools.  Building a real, long-lasting biz in this highly competitive and regulated industry - that's the hard stuff.  Makes me wonder if you know what you're getting into here.  Theres a whole lot more to running this kind of operation than just cobbling together the tech parts.

If they act faster then provably that lots of people will be confident again to test out their casino since all gamblers are watching on how a casino will solve its users issues.

The sure did have a rough start - if they want to gain the trust of the community ( which theirs is currently dwindling due to the scam thread that was created against them) they would have to work on their website interface, implement a new bonus (but with a stricter rule to help prevent abuses)that way people would know that they ain’t just idle about the whole thing but are indeed working to make everything better.

Their account has been offline for quite sometime now. - I remember during the first days of launching they were really hyperactive -but that has died down (probably because of the experience they had).

These little startups don't always have a ton of resources, so things can get messy sometimes.  Their websites might look kinda crappy or have some issues, and maybe their bonus programs got gamed at first.  But you gotta give 'em credit for trying to make things right.  If they're working on the site and thinking about changing the bonuses, it shows they actually care what people think and

Im not saying you should trust 'em completely right away.  But if folks make an effort to fix their mistakes that's usually a decent sign.  I'd be willing to give them another shot and see what happens.

What do you think?

You know those silly little bets we made as kids, like I bet you can't climb that tree! It was never really about money or anything, just bragging rights.  As adults though, it gets more complicated when the stakes are higher and  even if you're just joking around.

Like say you get caught up in the moment watching a game with your buddy.  You bet your whole salary on something crazy happening - not thinking he'll actually hold you to it if you lose! But legally, could he make you pay up? Im guessing it depends on your local laws and the specifics and all.

Anyway, my advice is to keep it light with bets.  Don't let things escalate too far just because you're feeling cocky.  Otherwise you might end up learning the hard way where that legal line in the sand is drawn!

This topic is unrelated to the topic title about Metawin casino.  The OP may have had good intentions in mind, but the way he behaves on the forum comes across as attention-seeking spam and even trolling.  I try to give folks the benefit of the doubt.  Maybe this member feels their perspective is underappreciated.  However, attacking people or businesses likely won't remedy that.  If this user dialed back the intensity, listened sincerely and spoke respectfully, they could contribute meaningfully and even present his business idea in a better light.  But he doesn't seem to have the capacity for that.

Thank you all for your comments.

It seems like P2P on centralized exchanges is a preferred method here.  Since KYC is likely unavoidable with centralized exchanges, how do you people handle the tax implications? Do you report all your crypto income to the tax office?

I don't think you'll get any useful advice here. You should be able to come up with your own idea if you want to be a successful businessman anyway. That's how it works usually. Depending on other people's ideas is not a good way to start things. You'll mostly get generic crap like "start a casino", "start an exchange", "sell stuff" etc.

I agree. The ideas he gets here may not be enough to start a successful business. But still, I think brainstorming with other folks could give him new perspectives he hadn't thought of solo.  Someone might not hand him a million dollar concept outright, but could ask thoughtful questions or offer input steering him the right way.

A few possibilities in hand, he could mock up barebones landing pages using that free domain.  Itd give him a taste if potential customers dig those concepts.  Not failproof market research but better than theorizing in a vacuum.

I know this question has probably been asked a bunch of times before, but with the ever-changing crypto landscape, I'm curious to hear everyone's latest thoughts.

What method do you find most convenient and cost-effective for converting your crypto holdings to fiat currency? CEXs, P2P, Debit Cards... ? Also curious if any new or up-and-coming techniques are on your radar.

Re: When you are confident with your picks, do you win most of the time?
by
decodx
on 24/05/2024, 19:35:22 UTC
So how about you? Have you ever thought of this idea when your picks aren't hitting? I mean, if we keep following how we think and feel with our picks and it doesn't translate to profit, there's no reason to continue following the same strategy. But are we comfortable with betting against our own picks just for the sake of fading ourselves strategy?

I’m a seasonal sports bettor because I only place bet in sports that I watch closely to make my bets more accurate.

I have a higher winning rate on sports betting because I usually focus on quality of my bets rather than quantity so I only bets on matches that I have high confidence to win regardless of how low the odds is.

Some people aim for higher odds that’s why they keep chasing complicated matches that makes them lose frequently no matter how confident they are with their bets since they are forcing picks limited to high odds that makes it naturally complicated to win.

You make a fair point on valuing quality over quantity with sports bets.  Just trying to chase the best odds can get you into trouble by taking on too much risk and  i'd say it's smarter to zero in on wagers with strong value, even if the odds are just decent and not through the roof.

That said, if your picks keep missing the mark, it makes sense to reevaluate your approach.  But there's a difference between overthinking past choices versus taking in new info.  Maybe a key guy just got hurt or there was a last-second change to the roster that shakes up your original analysis.  In those cases changing up your selection could be the right call.

Re: Is gambling bad to the society?

OP, I get what you're saying about how gambling addiction can mess up people's lives.  No doubt it causes big problems for some folks and their families when it gets out of control.  but at the same time, I don't think all gambling is bad by default. You could say its kind of like having a drink - most people can enjoy it in moderation as a hobby.  They budget some mad money for entertainment, hit the casino a few times a month with their buddies, have some laughs at the tables then call it a night.  As long as people keep it casual and the state watches the industry to keep things on the up-and-up, gambling can be a nice way to blow off some steam.  At least that's how I see it.

Re: Work From Home or The "Laptop Class" is Immoral or Not?
by

I kinda get where he's coming from, but I ain't fully sold on it.  Ultimately, what matters most is if people are crushing their goals and staying on track with projects, right? Who cares if Debra in accounting is brainstorming in her PJs instead of choking down gas station coffee in a traffic jam?

Now look I get it aint for everyone.  Some folks thrive off collaborating in person and need that water cooler chat to spark ideas.  But for others, the flexibility of remote work does wonders for their productivity and  they don't need an open office plan to crush it.

From what I've noticed, seems like a lot of Bitcoin heads are fully remote anyway.  With crypto, you can chart charts, run numbers, scribble code, shill coins, and tweet hot takes from wherever - just need that laptop battery juice and a WIFI connection. As long as deliverables are met and timelines looked good does it really matter if you're camped in a WeWork or a hammock in Costa Rica?

But I'm just trying to figure out a good website name and a plan.

As Coin_trader already mentioned, e-commerce is still developing and I can assume that it will become more and more popular in the future. You could look for a niche product or service related to cryptocurrency or blockchain technology that isn't already well-served online.

Another service with future potential is a customer-centric crypto payment processor. Unlike traditional processors for merchants, this would allow customers to shop at any online store and pay with cryptocurrencies, acting as an intermediary between buyers and merchants. I know this idea requires a lot more than just web hosting and a domain, but it might be worth thinking about.

Before giving out any loan there are questions you need to  ask, because there are so many people they Hadley pay back their loan, you should be careful of people you give loan, must people think nobody can do them anything, that is the mindset so many people have today, you just have to be careful of such people.

Lenders make their living figuring out how to handle risky borrowers.  There is a collateral requirement for that. They don't need advice from some random person on the internet who can't spell hardly properly.  Taking out a loan is no joke - you gotta pay that money back and  if you don't, then youre the one in trouble, not the lender.

No, you're probably not the only one who feels that way, but for starters, you should move this question to the proper board. This has nothing to do with the Bitcoin discussion.

My folks are getting up there in years.  Cryptocurrency adventures rank pretty low on their list of priorities, to put it mildly.  Getting them to wrap their heads around the notion of a digital wallet, much less invest in something as abstract as Bitcoin? That's a war I just don't have the energy to wage.

They're set in their ways and  and I cant blame them - they came of age long before terms like digital assets entered the lexicon.  Heck, my dad still refers to the remote control as the clicker.  The pace of technological change leaves them dizzy.  To them email might as well be magic.    Cheesy

Sports betting requires skill and knowledge, not some exploit.  Casinos exist because the odds are stacked against you. Your UMG thing reeks of the same manipulative tactics but what's worse, you lie about it with nonsense like "everyone wins!"  Of course, anyone with common sense knows that this is a lie.

Re: 🏆 AnonBet.net - No-KYC Slots and Sports Betting with Bitcoin [20 FREE SPINS] 🏆
by
decodx
on 22/05/2024, 20:43:17 UTC
By the way, @Anonbet.net I think there is a bug in your system, I had some balance in my account and after spinning for some time it got to $1 (which is the bet amount) but when I click on “play” I got an “insufficient funds” notification and the 1$ was still there.

Check if it’s a bug and try to fix it.

The "bug" is that you actually have less than $1 available for betting, but due to rounding, the casino displays the closest amount. Try to reduce the number of lines so that your total bet amount is less than $1 and try to play again.

I have not created an account here and I'm wondering about the minimum bet of the slot game. Is this $1 ($0.1 per line for 10 lines) the minimum one without any option to reduce it? If it is true, this slot must be for medium to high roller players only because most other slot games even from 3rd party provider has lower minimum bet. In average, I can say that we can bet as low as $0.1 per spins in other slots no matter how many lines are in the games.

It's true. the minimum bet amount is $0.10 per line, but this does not mean that you have to play all ten lines for each spin. You can, for example, choose a single line and your bet per spin will be $0.10.

With the casino already getting a red tag here on the forum from a notable and respected user' notblox, I am wondering what or why any body will still be interested in signing up, depositing and playing on this casino.

First, I think we should already get used to the fact that it's only potential scam casinos that will around now and claim to offer kyc free gambling experience to gamblers, this I believe they do to attract gamblers, knowing fully well that gamblers hate being asked to pass kyc verification most especially at the time when they win and decide to withdraw funds.

If any one is still going to find this casino attractive to join after the have removed the sign up bonus/free spins offered to new users, it's going to be based on the fact they claim to be kyc free, but then, the chances are high that this casino may end up going pop in the future as soon as they gather enough money from gamblers.

I respect notblox's perspective and understand his motivation for cautioning others about this casino after his own negative experience.  However, if we're being fully honest, any new platform poses some level of risk - the possibility exists for users' funds to essentially disappear for a variety of reasons.

That said, I successfully withdrew my winnings from AnonBet myself, and Im clearly not the only one who has done so without issue thus far...  even still, building a reputable brand and earning community trust takes time.  Just because some have had positive encounters doesn't necessarily make it an established or respectable company just yet.  Perhaps with more time and additional positive user experiences, concerns about this casino will subside.
