Re: Gambling Ad warns sufficiently
by

I recently encountered an ad from youtube about a gambling platform and it featured a very popular celebrity in my country. It was short but a good amount of time was dedicated at the end warning gamblers that gambling will not be the solution to their financial problems and it will not improve their economic status. It got my nod of approval because it really is that easy. But some governments still think that this kind of warning is not enough for gamblers to stay responsible. But don’t you think that a constant reminder can wake someone up from delusion? What do you think? Is this enough or should there be more ways to promote responsible gambling?
It really depends on because if that certain celebrity is very influential and that could inspire them to be responsible in each thing they'll do in life. But generally, I think it's not enough because there's a lot of factors to consider that can affect a person in gambling. Actually, there are countless of warnings already that can be seen and hear from people who experienced multiple losses in gambling but here we are, they're still trying to gamble and still relying on that small percentage of luck. The government should establish a seminar of using this kind of platforms, to make them responsible in gambling and if they still losses then it's their personal problems.

Re: Gambling as a way to recover the economy, effective or not?
by

It'll somehow help the economy of the country but please consider a lot of factors before implementing it. Think about the citizens who'll be affected by these gambling platforms or casinos, make a security if the person is capable of gambling or not because we know there are many negative effects of gambling if it's very accessible to the country.

Like for example, majority of those who lose a lot of money in gambling and get depressed is the poor who lacks education. If they aren't capable for gambling, then don't let them get in the platform.

Re: Do you have gambling friends or you prefer to be alone.

I gamble solo because I don't want to have doubts on what I decide because there are other players that contributes to decision. I play solo since I prefer it and I'm at peace when I have the control for every decision, it's easy, peaceful and the profit is only yours.

If I lose then there's no one to be blamed on the outcome, the weight is on your shoulders so it's preferable to gambling solo. But if it's really for fun like losing money is not a big deal then it's fun, having a good bonding through gambling and laugh all of your losses, to avoid stress because it's just an entertainment.

This becomes a topic for years now but to avoid this kind of discussion, you better research first if it's really possible or maybe ask AI about the info if you're lazy enough to deep dive information. In just few clicks, you can literally know all the information that it's still impossible even for few years and the core team are doing something about this to secure BTC.

I get it, majority of the media outlets are creating articles about quantum computing but of course you can also search about it if it's feasible. Of course, as a part of the crypto community, research is very crucial, we need to be updated about knowledge.

Re: What If Satoshi Nakamoto Revealed Himself Tomorrow?
by

I know there's a low chance that satoshi will reveal himself but IF EVER

I'll be amazed that he did this kind of bold move especially that the whole crypto market is very hot and trending right now. Also, I might do something on my portfolio that'll secure my funds of course since first of all why Satoshi revealing himself, so there's a possibility that he will do some unusual moves too like selling some of the BTCs. The first thinking right now is Satoshi doesn't have a good reason to reveal himself so of course, you'll think of a negative thing about his actions.

Actually no, this is my own information, and I won't give it to others especially for a gambling platform without any accountability and assurance that it'll give the profit. For some people money is money but let's not forget that there are many effects to the kid, it can be a sign to the child that you allow such acts. If the prize money is really big that's very life changing, I'll start to give the child a guidance about the value of money, I'll try to sacrifice my own and open a bank account that could be used for a good education. I will also start a parenting control to the devices the child using, knowing that the child gambles and it's prohibited to minors. Of course, he should learn the value of money, and I think once the child is guided by wisdom, it'll change his/her mind.

Not facts but observations that the attraction Bitcoin used to drag Is nolonger that serious or active in the heart of people. Could it be that they're beginning to see Bitcoin as Smoke that can disappear after a while or the value added is no more booming.

Because I remember very well in 2020, everybody considered Bitcoin as option for investments and trade. This days people chose physical jobs compare to Bitcoin traders, is that research statements true or you can educate us more
Well the current market investors are attracted by BTC, the flow is still ongoing. It's becoming a good investment option for some people especially

by
finaleshot2016
on 24/08/2025, 17:19:32 UTC
If the government is trying to do this, dapat aware din sila sa mga kababayan nilang nag ccrypto din.

Tsaka another thing yung funds? Siguro i-settle muna nila talaga yung magandang allocation ng funds sa mga departamento na worth it talaga, issue nga din ngayon yung sa DPWH sana maresolba din yun, kasi mamaya yung funds na gagamitin din dito is sa atin kukuhain at increase na naman ng tax sa isang bagay (katulad nalang nung digital products na grabe yung tax compare to other SEA countries) 10k BTC is worth a lot, 1.1B USD yon eh which is hindi biro. Katulad din yung sa GSIS ininvest sa stocks na related to gambling, tapos down ng ilang percent, sabay pinasok recently sa PSEi para maregain kaso wala din. Kaka-frontrun mo sa insider info, napasama pa.

again, positive ako sa move na 'to pero i just don't trust how the government implement things. laging tao apektado.

by

No panic, this pullback is normal even if it falls down to $3900 over the next few days. Once it falls and bounces it will run up past its $4800 all time high in no time.
Agree, it's just a panic sell and maybe they're reason for selling Crypto right now is because September is coming and want to frontrun the red market.

https://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/06/septworstmonth.asp

They always saying that September is the worst month to invest and based on the history, the market is wrecked during this month.

After that we can see a little bit of recover, probably this is just another good entry. We need to see another ETH ATH this year!

Re: What happens when there is no more Bitcoin available to buy?
by
finaleshot2016
on 19/08/2025, 19:18:22 UTC
With so many people around the world buying Bitcoin, it’s like a city’s power supply system suddenly collapsing. I can’t imagine it. What do you think?
It's impossible, a good market does have buyers and sellers. Imagine a market that majority of us only buy, of course it's already the peak and some of them will definitely cash out money because that's how trading works. The whole process of the market consists of this kind of cycle, those who're trying to accumulate BTC due to trend and will want to buy outside market price and that's the time they will sell it and the BTC will increase.

If there’s no sellers, then there’s no market movement because nobody can take the opposite side of the trade. The price will definitely gonna be stable and trading will become non-sense if that happens. Even in our normal lives, we have this kind of cycle in human nature, so it won't really happen.

Re: Does trading mean a better life?

The reality of trading is really difficult.

Not all of us can pull of a good PNL in trading and even if you had the fundamentals of trading, you'll definitely have a hard time on trading and getting a good PNL. At the moment, the market is slightly manipulated by some big names because we're currently riding the trend. But if you're in a flow state where you can have a good analysis in trading then it's good for you but trading isn't really for everyone. It looks easy but you'll spend a lot of time and it really doesn't mean a good life or something positive because you'll have a long journey before success.

Re: SEC nagpaliwanag hindi ito pagban
by

Just be lowkey.

Hindi mo talaga need i-flex or ikwento mga bagay bagay palagi in public.

What would happen to Bitcoin’s value if all countries banned crypto exchanges together ? Can it survive such an action ?
Yes. Back then it survived without any major CEX that time.

So it'll survive even though the countries banned it, the volume will be gone but there are many DEX out there where we can trade BTC and people will just transfer there. There are bunch of DEX today that has perpetual features and they keep improving, we have a lot of options in cryptocurrency. The volume will just get low and of course the price will react but if people learned to adapt to what's the meta, it'll eventually go back what it deserves. The solid foundation of BTC is the community so better be positive about it.

Re: Impact of Fake News in our Society Today
by
finaleshot2016
on 19/08/2025, 16:39:12 UTC
Once people don't support on an innovation or any newly introduced technology, then they begin to raised a counter attack against such in other to discourage others from going for it, because they believed that painting them with fake news will go a big way in tarnishing on their image and reputation the world could have expected form them, there are many reasons behind why fake news is coming, some are doing this out of jealousy, because they envy on what others have achieved.
Like what's happening to Bitcoin back then, there are countless of fake information spreading across the internet to fud BTC but a lot of enthusiasts prove that BTC is the goat. Like when people who have traditional mindsets spread false information to avoid it because it ruins their business but right now looks what's happening, people are now sticking to BTC and taking advantage of the potential profits.

This is a cruel world, if you're behind and doesn't have any idea or knowledge on the space you we're at, you'll probably going to be those people who just believes what big names said. This is the power of false information, it can fool and manipulate everyone, so we need to stand out by learning and having our own understanding to each thing by studying it.

Re: The most important factor when building a business
by
finaleshot2016
on 19/08/2025, 15:53:57 UTC
The most important factor to consider when starting to build a business is the target audience. You have to think of who would you want to cater to. Who are the communities that you may profit off of. Like for example if there is a school near you, you should know that students would be your target audience. You should start a business where students can buy materials from or a place they can study or even hang out around. I believe that if you studied your target audience, the first step of your business is already successful enough.
Yeah, I always think first the target audience before starting a business because your branding will depend on your audience. You don't want to act as a luxurious brand, but your target audience are just average people. The whole branding and pricing will always depend on the target audience so it's better to know them first before starting everything. I agree with you that this is one of the first steps in business, you don't want to do everything blindly because you won't have a path. Knowing your target market saves you from mismatched branding and saves you from mistakes and it's your guide for your marketing style.

Learning from my friend about how resourceful of informations this platform could be, am passionate person who wants to explore and learn in the bitcoin world. Growing up as a young intellectual I always encounter news about crypto currencies. My consistent engagement on research led me to discover several crypto currencies and on the process I hear more about bitcoin.
I will be greatful if enlightened knowledges and information can be shared to help me achieve the goal here. Thanks and I hope to be welcomed my mentors.
Knowledge is a vital tool for your success in cryptocurrency, this will help you on your journey to be more consistent in the space. Without having different information, you can't formulate your way to pass through some challenges because you really need to pay something like time and effort in order to breakthrough and start another chapter. I started solo in early 2018-19 and learned a lot of ways to absorb more learnings, there are many tools and applications that provide FREE learning and there's no reason for you to be lacking in this space. Even here in bitcointalk, you can learn a lot of things but of course you need to effort and explore to mine gold here.
