The business model may appear overly complex with a lot of moving parts, however,
at its essence, it is a farm of farms, i.e. premium organics food farm, feed farm,
server farm, renewable natural gas farm, bio-diesel farm, energy farm, water, etc.
In an ecologically balanced, closed loop eco-system.

The inaugural asset portfolio will be 100% renewable energy, self-sustaining,
grid-independent, below-zero emissions, carbon-negative operation in all of its business
units and profit centers; food, feed, fertilizer, power, packing, fuel, water, etc.

The synergies and cross-pollinations among the profit centers and the incremental margin
contributions form effective vertical and horizontal integration and ownership of the entire
transaction chain cycle. From raw materials to finished retail packaged specialty products,
this creates the ‘Stacked Margin Effect’, the hallmark of an Apex Class Competitor.

Where is the website or the project's white paper?

How can you stir debate when we don't have a starting point? Share us
everything you got so that we can see and dig deeper to your project,
otherwise comments here will be rehearse and it will go on circles.

Again, not looking to be ban-hammered here, or coy...only
respectful and considerate of the Bitcointalk community members.

I take the above quote as a senior members invitation to post this link for
open debate. If I am making this assumption in error, please advise.

A link to the elements of the concept paper pdf is here.

Thank you in advance for your kind and generous attention.

Elements for a concept paper, is it good, bad or just ugly?

Not looking to get ban-hammered here, where would be
the best place to post a link to the concept paper pdf?

Not a good guess. Look through the more senior comments,

The fundamentals must lead to and be driven by a profit-making enterprise. This then becomes the
basis for buyers, sellers and other trans-actors to discover true price/value of the systems' native token.

Much like you would use the price-to-earnings ratio to determine a fair price for one share of a company's
stock/token. i.e. 1 million in earnings divided by 1 million tokens will provide you with an actual face value;
no pump-and-dumps, no meaningful volatility, no speculation. Just true, transparent blockchain-authenticated
price/value discovery.

Hence, a reliable store of value and Method of Exchange (MOE).

Then, let us begin with, a bold, hairy and audacious premise...

Notwithstanding their Revolutionary Potential, Existing Blockchain Protocols and
Proposed Ecosystem’s lack the Qualities Required to Create Ubiquitous, High-Value
Mass-Market Utility in the Socio-Political Space, Domestic and International Commerce.

It Matters not if a Method of Exchange (MOE) is Physical, Digital, or Crypto,
if it can-not be Directly Converted into other MOEs, High-Quality Commodities,
Desired Goods and Services at a Published and Transparent Conversion Rate,
it's not ‘Backed’ by Anything. True Price Liquidity cannot be Discovered.

A True 'Capital Currency' Should Never Experience Significant Volatility and Should Always
Produce ‘Dividends’. Unless the MOE is ‘Community Adjudicated’ as Advantageous to
Have, Save and Trade, ‘It Can Not Rule, It Will Not Endure’.

Only sanctioned manipulators, gatekeepers and a few speculators can 'win' that game.

We find this to be a Strategically Fatal Flaw that Will Take All but a Handful of them to Zero.

Our Conclusion:

The Monetary Eco-Systems and Cryptocurrencies that will Ultimately Succeed,
Have Not Been Visioneered, Engineered and Brought to Market, Not Yet...

This is not ‘a build it and they will come’, it’s a build it they are already there.

This is the right place to discuss anything about your projectas long as its altcoin.
Thank you for your kind encouragement.

I began with the assumption that no project is strategically
viable without community adjudication and eventual vindication.

This is my sole purpose here.

This is one thing we all have in common, I believe,
we each pay out our lives daily for some ideals, persons,
places or things...The product of that payout is our return
on that life, and its not a dress rehearsal, there are no
do-overs.

Why Gamble, when you can seek wise counsel
and hedge your investments? After all, isn't that the
cornerstone in the foundation of what our community seeks?

im not sure if you can get those experts easily but it's better to use reddit. If you are
wanna get a serious discussion and create a thread in the announcement section will
not help you a lot consider so many troll there.
Thank you for your counsel. We do have a Reddit account, opened approx. one year
ago, however, on standby until such a moment as this.

you have an interesting way of speaking man haha, kinda confusing tho
We're here to seek advice, counsel and guidance, not to sew confusion. Indeed, we seek
community adjudicated clarity.

what you guys cooking up? Smiley
I find it most interesting and precent your question, may our exploration begin in earnest.

Is this going to be another project that you're working with?

The project has completed the R & D and feasibility phases. What I'm
really looking for is the right place for a deep dive with the interested
community members.

Although we are in advanced pre-launch stage now,
the consensus is, we should open up the project's basic
business concepts for serious critique and analysis prior
to announcement, to those members of the community
interested in unique models.

Thank you for your thoughtful counsel and guidance.

Network Scaling Effects, Cryptocurrencies and Flywheels

At critical mass, the value obtained from a Network is greater than or equal to the price
paid for the goods or services available through the Network. The original law is based
on the idea that the value of a network grows in proportion with the number of all possible
connections.

This can happen for short periods of time because of factors such as herding behavior. However,
without an infinite pool of people it is not sustainable. For this reason alone, a crash is inevitable.
A key concern must then be, how to attract early adopters and opinion leaders prior to reaching
requisite network or scaling.

The strategy here is to create an Eco-System that builds-in enough tangible and experiential value,
to early adopters, without significant network or scaling effects at the outset. The Flywheel model
produces these benefits without banking on network effects or economies of scale
(Amazon, Atlassian, Walmart).

Eco-System must be, Decentralized, Anonymous and ‘Secured’ by Blockchain Validated Eco-System GDP.

Eco-System-GDP is Defined and Measured as: Authenticated Cash and Cash Equivalents,
Modest Earnings Margin/Growth Multiple + Audited Net Asset Value (NAV+) of Portfolio
Holdings; land, buildings, plant, equipment, finished goods inventory, natural resources, etc.

An Eco-System and Application Platform Enabling the MOE to be sent directly from one party
to another, without being mediated through a Centralized Gate-keeper, Regulatory body, or Exchange.

A Cryptocurrency Eco-System or Cryptosphere Capable of Meeting the Needs of Hundreds of
Millions of Consumers, Traders and Trans-Actors on a Truly Global Scale. Driving Rate of Adoption,
Fungibility, Network Services, Exchange and Utility Values.

I would like to think about this in this way. Block-chain technology is a very important step towards productive future and wealthy way of living, but it is not final one. There for sure will be better and improve technologies that we will be able to rely on.

Yes, and Futures Protocol is a big part of that Future.

Re: The Future is Here, it's just not Evenly Distributed

From my perspective, distribution involves really two points of entry and exit. One is where the distribution model is pushing the currency into the marketplace. The second has the marketplace pulling the cryptocurrency into it. The latter channel is the preferable choice as it involves a fraction of the capital intensity that having your idea pushed into the marketplace entails.

In my considered opinion, this is about fungibility, utility, and transparency. The more high-quality products, services and tasks the token is used for, the more likely you are to achieve scaled network effect on an exponential trajectory.

I concur with the observation without reservation that the major pieces or ‘bricks’, if you will, are already in place; thus, no need to reinvent the wheel, however, certainly in need of re-thinking. Truth is, technology is running so far out ahead of us now that few really can begin to design a fin-tech solution before it has been rendered obsolete by the latest half-dozen breakthroughs and bright ideas and the foundation of that solution is principle-centricity. Without it, it can’t mimic nature and will eventually win a Darwinian award. Annnnnd…there gone!

Re: What is Sound Money?
by
futuresprotocol
on 15/05/2018, 19:00:08 UTC

Because sound money is defined simply as stable, you're unlikely to gain just by saving because you normally have to account for inflation. "Healthy" inflation amounts to just about 2% annually, so you'll probably lose that much if you just hoard sound money.

Bitcoin isn't sound money by definition, but it's awfully close to what you've described. Hold it and it grows in value, and if you can predict price movements and trade properly, you can make it grow even faster.

Apologize for the tardiness of my response.

Been busier than a one-legged man in a Bitcoin kicking contest.

I interpret inflation to be a symptom, hidden as it is these days, of the system imposing unearned fees on what should be free market transactions between individuals and entities gatekeeper free. Remove the money changers from the equation and you will replace inflation with appreciation.

What say ye?

Agreed.

Would like to revive the discussion, as I think it an important question for the community at large.

In that spirit, perhaps this link to a concept paper would provide utility to jump-start the discussion.

Its just bits and pieces in outline form; still a work in process.

Appreciate the input and guidance.

Will work to keep the subjects interesting enough for collaboration. Believe upon closer examination, Futures Protocol is more substantial than it may appear on the surface. However, I certainly realize, with the deluge of "me-too" shit coins, or "why-not-us" tokens, it will be difficult even for a serious community project to have a fair hearing.

Thanks again
