At almost 900% I am really happy that I only have 3 old S9 to care for, those with small farms must be in a panicmode right now. And those who don´t got free electricity.....  must be a disaster.

I remember some years ago when slush pool had a several month long streak with really bad luck, but as i remember it they found out it was some bug cousing it
.

This is maybe just bad luck but how big is the chance of getting 2 devilblocks so close to each other ? Or should I see it as every new block is a new block and what happened before doesnt matter at all ?

The first block was 1 in 2000

The second block is About 1 in 2000

But they were not back to back which would be a 1 in 4,000,000 chance.

My math skills to determine. The chance of two .9996 cdf blocks out of four are not up to the task.

The fact that we had 2 good blocks between 2 devilblocks must change the "1 in 4000000" chance, but that´s above my pay-grade.
Yeah the problem is that you can't actually use the result of that calculation.
Statistics requires impartiality.

Selecting a range of data, specifically based on the results: the first and last being the worst possible values, invalidates the statistical analysis.

As you will see on the web site, there is no CDF[Erl] of data that defines a set of data based on the results of that data, since that isn't valid.
The boundaries are all unrelated to the results -> months, or a specific number of blocks.

Ah ok. Then i understand, more.

Over 850%, this starts to feel unreal.

Is it possible that we all live inside some kind of matrix and that this block indicates some kind of bug ?

Soooon...... Sooooooooon...... I said two days ago.

For how long can a block go unfound in theory ? With this hashrate and difficulty ofcourse.
In theory? Forever. Seriously.

I guessed that was the answer, but i had to ask.

Hope this one will be finished when I wake up tomorrow.

Will an S9 be able to pay for itself under its lifetime ?

I might be stupid, but when I count on it I come to the conclusion that an S9 is so expensive and produces to little so it wont be able to pay for itself for a very long time.

At current prices, not considering electric cost it's almost 1000 blocks to pay itself off. If you look at our block history that should only take about 64 weeks. So barring a nice btc price increase it doesn't look very promising.

Thnx. At current prices.... I think that the difficulty will start ta rise again in a month or two, so maybe it will take 164 weeks or 264 weeks to earn back the price of an S9.

On the "Mining Rewards" page, can the "Total : " be moved up so we dont need to scroll down several pages to see the total ?

Shit happens yes, but as long as every block is paid quite fast i think this system is ok, as it normally is.  Now it might be a little to long time.

My hashrate on the pool is : Hash Rate:5.59/5.74THs , have been like that for months.

About 1 THs is gone ? My BTC reward would ofcourse go down when the difficulty goes up, but my N AVG ?

Something wrong with the pool ?

did you have any downtime at all? or time when you wasn't hashing at kano?

When i check the Shift Graph, acctually i had some hours downtime, i did not know that. But the last time i had downtime some weeks ago the N AVG did get low, but it took just a few hours for it to start point up again, now it doesnt seem to point up, but maybe that has to do whit the devils block yesterday, it was over 500% . Not sure but il watch my miners and the N AVGH to se how it developes.

Unfortuntely i can not post pictures here on the forum... some strange rule that "newbies" cant post.
