Take a look at dentcoin. A new possibility: DENT allowing you and any cell phone user to trade their unused mobile data
It has a massive potential IMHO.

This does look cool but OP is looking for ones under 1 million. The site says 100 billion coins and 70% to be sold in token sale way over 1 million.

Golem for sure I love the idea behind the technology a decentralized supercomputer. This is really some cool tech.

I also love Maidsafe I am always torn between these two. The idea behind a decentralized internet is very exciting.

Yeah I either hold or buy more if I can. This is classic whales and seasoned investors taking profits and shaking out the newbies. I know I used to panic sell and get screwed when the price tripled. But live and learn sometimes you have to lose some money and learn the hard way.

Why altcoin price down during this week? What are the reason? Huh Huh Huh

It's just people taking profit. Just hold now cause it will go back up plus it's the weekend typically the prices drop on the weekends.

Maidsafe coins are what was sold during the ICO, those will be exchanged for safecoins once they are released.

Now will each person be responsible for exchanging their maidcoins for safecoins? Or will they automatically change over? And will the price change with safecoin if so I will be buying up as many as I can. Sorry for the amount of questions.

Re: Bitcoin and Paypal
by

Being new(ish) to bitcoin, I've noticed it MUCH harder to sell products online and accept bitcoin as a form of payment. Paypal sales are steady and people tend to rather use paypal than bitcoin to buy things. (in my exp anyway)

I wish bitcoin could somehow figure a (buyer/seller protection) like paypal. It's alot of work sending items to escrows/ waiting for them to get the item/ then them sending item to buyer etc.

I may be totally out there on this, lol also sorry if i don't make much sense either. Sometimes its hard to type what i'm really thinking, lol

Well PayPal is more integrated in many platforms mainly because it is something easier for people to understand they use PayPal to buy or sell things but it is not a currency itself rather i believe as someone has already stated a platform. That being said with escrow there are sites that you can buy and sell that offer escrow services such as cryptothrift or now know as bitify. It is a pain at times but offers security for the buyer and seller. With bitcoin escrow is the best protection when doing transactions for items or services.

The thing to keep in mind with BTC though is there is no fee to use it PayPal charges a fee for everything anymore seriously it's ridiculous. And even with their so called "buyer protection" or "seller protection" you can still get screwed very easy with paypal look up some of the ebay stories even with high volume sellers that have perfect ratings will be screwed over. BTC takes all that away no one can go back two weeks or even a month and say o something happened i need my money back then your left with loss of product and owing someone money.

Another thing to keep in mind is BTC is still foreign to majority of people sure they may have heard of it but most don't really know what it is or care. That will change once places like walmart dollar stores best buy whatever start to accept it in their stores like a lot of them do with paypal now. That could be many years away or next year hard to say but eventually BTC will be accepted virtually everywhere it's a digital currency for a digital age.

Yeah I know they keep linking me to blockchain where it says transaction complete yet i still have not received my bitcoins i honestly dont believe i will ever see them by the way it's going. And Danny to be honest im not sure but im going to be damn sure i do way more research cause the amount of complaints i have seen about the same thing i am experiencing is astounding for such a popular used exchange. It sucks but i am glad that i was not one of the people who are thousands of dollars that are getting the run around like i have been.

So i made a purchase through bitinstant have never had any problems with them in the past im not sure if it has something to do with the overload. I checked blockchain on my transaction and it says it's confirmed. http://blockchain.info/fb/1bofxvh?filter=5 This is my transaction but i still have yet to receive them on my bitstamp account. I have contacted both sides bitstamp and bitinstant and both were not very helpful at all should i be worried or will they arrive? But it's still been 5 days that seems like a rather long time.

post that here:

http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/1cerwq/psa_bitinstant_deposit_still_not_transferred/

Thanks for the link it's insane that they are on reddit yet not responding to their emails doesn't make much sense. I will be going through another more trusted company next time.

I will keep you informed about the outcome of my request to Bitstamp. Maybe this can help you with your issue and offer some perspective.

Regards

Thanks i have opened a couple of tickets and nothing as of yet pretty frustrating i wanted my money to go through before price shoots back up again but it's looking like that may not happen  Embarrassed
