I'm not familiar with Kubernetes but I found a guide in Google which I think will help you to run Bitcoind properly on Kubernetes.

Here's the full guide below.

- How to Manage Your Full Nodes — Part 2: Managing Containers with Kubernetes

This is very useful! Thanks a million!

Hi all!

Happy to be here. I tried to run a bitcoind node on kubernetes. Couldn't get it to work. Does anybody know if it's possible?

Am late here, file has been deleted so I don't know actually what the op is talking about, but as an African, Nigerian precisely, am glad that people are beginning to see the great potentials in crypto, the sooner we African integrate it into our system, the better for us all.

In what way precisely would it be better for Africa and eventually for us all. I mean what makes Africa such a good candidate for crypto in your eyes?

Well, for one thing... some of the poorest people on earth are living in Africa. Most of these people do not have access to Banking systems or they simply cannot afford it.   The introduction of Bitcoin will dramatically reduce the transaction fees   This will enable a lot of these people to store their wealth without having to sacrifice fees for that privileged and also to pay very small fees to do transactions and/or to withdraw their savings.  Wink

A lot of these people are already using M-Pesa on their mobile phones, but the fees are pushing a lot of the poorest people out of the financial system. People will be able to charge a few cents for micro tasks and also collect those deposits, to be used for micro payments.

Ah ok cool, thanks for your answer/explanation. Will they have issues with trust though, in the sense that is it easy for them to trust this digital solution, I can imagine that there might be some hesitation surrounding this transition. But than again you say that they use M-Pesa, not familiar with it but I assume that it is also an electronic means of payment. Like with sms or something?

Hi everyone,

I work for a non-profit startup, which was crowdfunded by the crypto-community, called hybrix.
--> https://hybrix.io/

We are a huge supporter of Freedom of transactions, ie to freely transfer value whenever and however you see fit, in either physical or digital form. To this end we created an open source platform, where user safety and controle is paramount. We are crypto agnostic, and try to incorporate as many chains and tokens on our platform, hybrix currently supports 387 tokens on 31 chains.
We built an js library which you can checkout at:
github:

npm:

Wondering what the bitcoin community thinks of this/has feedback and how we can be of service to each other, greetings!
