I'm glad you enjoyed it! But I will be taking it down in roughly 12 hours.
Noooo!
It has been really fun playing poker with everyone, and it let me connect with people in a different way through the forum. A friendly game of poker definitely has the power to bring people together in a fun and unique way.
PG (PowerGlove) did an awesome job on the game itself, and continually kept improving it throughout April. Given the amount of time spent on everything, it is tough for me seeing it go. But a big thanks to theymos for keeping it going this long!
I still think it would be cool to see a monthly or yearly freeroll tournament with small BTC prizes for winners, but I'm probably getting carried away.
(also, shameless plug!) Remember to check out the cool collector's deck & set I created to commemorate this awesome event!
Hey ibminer, payment sent for my #55 reservation: 74ebe5fb4cbc338e2d4d492e8a3a393a58bf4f718c07b837d6c83490072837ca Sorry for being a bit late, and thanks again for your patience. Let me know when you need more of my info.
All good, and received, thank you bias!
For those who have purchased the full set, I made a slight change to the bottom of stands to make them even more unique:
Current orders should be going out early next week, I'll reach out to everyone who has ordered with more information when they do. I ran into a small delay with the card manufacturer that I was able to work out, but it hindered the delivery time a bit. I have everything now but need some time this weekend to get current orders packed up for mailing. Thanks again to everyone, and I hope you enjoy them!

I was happy these eventually made it to Trofo, tbh I've now got some hesitation with the merit poker deck shipping to that country.
I was somewhat convinced these were going to get returned to me at some point, but with a little grit and determination, the postal service finally gave them up, smh. Definitely a few lessons learned here, I think part of the problem was special characters in addresses, but it also seemed like lazy postal workers at the destination. I wasn't getting much help on my side once they made it into the destination country.
I appreciate the patience, and am happy they survived with everything still there! & very happy you enjoy them!
Well, even if I'm in a hard destination for getting things from the US, I will give it a shot since Forum collectibles are not so common. So, I'm reserving number 55 for the set edition. If it isn't a big fuss, I will send the payment in a day or two, since I'm on a trip, and the PM as well with my shipping details. Thanks!
Awesome, thank you bias! I've got you reserved for #55, send me at least the country name for an estimate on the shipping before you send the payment to make sure it is correct.
I was wondering when the sale will end (is there a cut-off date, or when all decks are pre-reserved/sold) and when card deck manufacturing is expected to begin. ~
Manufacturing has actually already begun on a portion of the decks (30 of them). I'm hoping they arrive to me by early next week and I can begin getting the sold decks/sets ready to ship. I don't really have an official cut-off date for sales at this point, but my thought has been to stop the sales a few weeks after merit poker ends, which I believe is happening at the end of April... but I haven't fully decided yet on a specific date to stop the sale itself.

The new sounds add a much needed effect PG!
I'm not sure I've heard them all yet though, only had time for a few hands... I wonder if there is one added for an o_e_l_e_o?!
Whew! I finally made it thru all the entries, and we have many excellent quotes! Choosing the best in each category was extremely difficult. (I had to include additional prizes for runners-up!) However, we are now prepared to announce the official winners. ~
Whoa, awesome! Big thanks to Chris & Bitcoin Penny for the contest, can't believe I won 2 categories!
Most of my favorite movies come from the 80s so this was definitely a fun one for me. I had more thoughts in my head to get through and really wanted to get some Jim Carrey quotes in there, but needed to go away on a spring break trip with the family so I never got to them.
Earth Girls are Easy! 🤦 Tbh, I think I only watched that one once or twice in the past, so this was not at the top of my head when thinking of Jim Carrey, and I don't even remember it as a musical. Anyway, it was a fun contest, looking forward to more like this in the future, and hoping to see more stuff in general from Bitcoin Penny!
"Oh, that uh, that there's a [Bitcoin Penny]. Yeah, yeah, I borrowed it off a buddy of mine. He took my house, I took the [Bitcoin Penny]. It's a good looking [Bitcoin Penny], ain't it?" - National Lampoon Christmas Vacation (1989)
"Jake: The Caddy! Where's the Caddy? Elwood: The what? Jake: The Cadillac we used to have. The Bluesmobile! Elwood: I traded it. Jake: You traded the Bluesmobile for this? Elwood: No, for a [Bitcoin Penny]. Jake: A [Bitcoin Penny]?" Okay I can see that." - The Blues Brothers (1980)
"Inigo Montoya: Offer me money. Count Rugen: Yes! Inigo Montoya: Power, too, promise me that. Count Rugen: All that I have and more. Please... Inigo Montoya: Offer me everything I ask for. Count Rugen: Anything you want. Inigo Montoya: I want my [Bitcoin Penny], you son of a bitch." - The Princess Bride (1987)

“Wait a minute, Doc. Are you telling me you built a [Bitcoin Penny]… out of a DeLorean??” - Back to the future (1985)
“I bet you're the kind of guy that would fuck a person in the ass and not even have the goddamn common courtesy to give him a [Bitcoin Penny]. I'll be watching you.” - Full Metal Jacket, 1987
I did get a set but I never unsealed it - maybe I should buy a second set to open - @ibminer, if I purchase a set, would it be able to be shipped with the others? if so, let me know and I will send pymt later today and you can ship them all together.
Shouldn't be a problem, I believe I'll be able to fit it in the package, let me know which deck & option you are going with for this, thank you!!
Thanks for the kind words, international shipping seems to be rough with costs and sending from the US. I'm not sure if there is another way to go about it or not but I'm open to ideas.
I'll take number 22 with the stand and chips m8! This is so cool! Two of my favorite things into one great product. On a side note it woudl be so epic if theymos kept this in the forum and we could actually bet with real bitcoin. I'd be hooked.
Thank you! It would be pretty cool seeing it shift to BTC, although, it probably wouldn't end well for me personally lol. Even a monthly freeroll tournament with BTC prizes would be cool, but I'm probably day dreaming again. I'd guess there might be hoops/regulations to deal with doing something like switching to full BTC gambling, but I honestly don't know. I'm just excited it will at least be around throughout April, assuming it doesn't run into any problems.
