Hy, my Vega'64 (Samsung) config for CNR and TeamRed miner. Draws more power but adds 1.8Khs.

Could you insert the CMD strap ?
What type of cards are those? 56 or 64?

Try higher rfc. I run 208 and 260 on my vegas and add --ras 46 maybe

thx

hey guys,

How come i can't set the VDDC lower than 900mv? seems like stuck at 900 lowest

For vega, proper PPT needed...

Here is mine--->https://drive.google.com/open?id=1OvKJbv7psAO59I8EavFH5704wf7sr_9z

GPU P7 830MHz/ HBM P3 850MHz -->  0.825V
GPU P7 850MHz/ HBM P3 860Mhz --> 0.8375V
GPU P7 850MHz/ HBM P3 880MHz --> 0.85V

what vega?56/64? samsung/hynix?

Good for both 56@64 bios and 64.
I think this should work with hynix mem bc it sets only the GPU voltage.

On thanks, I will try to go undercoat again!
Is it possible to go under 800mV ?

It's possible. But over 1300MHz you need over 0.8V for a stable setup.

Working great with my vega 64/56 reference card ! Around 2200h/s avg..
But summer is coming , is there a way to decrease consumption with this this tool !
For now my card are running at 1407/1100 or 1407/950 at 875mV for most of them and 900-930 mV for bad ones.

Here are my own PPT and the overdriventool settings--> https://drive.google.com/open?id=1OvKJbv7psAO59I8EavFH5704wf7sr_9z.
If it's not stable, try a litte bit higher voltage in OverdriveNTool --> GPU P7 850mV / HBM P3 860mV --> 0.8375V GPU
My worst 2 GPU-s need GPU P7 850mV/ HBM P3 880mV --> 0.850V GPU

Is there any option to make the miner restart (automatically) after detecting a dead gpu? It's weird for me that the minert doesn't do it automatically.

What memclk?
I got instacrash with this. Also you can try to lower FAW to even 12. After some discussion it seems lower FAW is better.

On my 6 card rig FAW 12 instant crash, but on my 5 card rig it's running good for the last 2 hours. 30 min avg. hashrate increased from 10641 H/s to 10720 H/s @ CNR.  Less than 1% but its for free Wink
Now more than 10% increase from stock values. 9600 H/s --> 10700 H/s.  11.46% for CNR which is not the most memory intensive algorithm.

1100 on all cards. Ref Vega 56@64

With CL12 strap the 6 card hashrate went up from  (30min) 12705 H/s to 12815 H/s.
97% accepted shares -->926 accepted, 21 block expired, 8 low diff shares

mod.: I applied the CL12 strap with FAW 12. At fist glance it looks a bit faster. I'm testing it...

This is my lighter timing, hopefully stable (by:Zorg33):
--CL 19 --RAS 30 --RCDRD 12 --RCDWR 6 --RC 44 --RP 13 --RRDS 5 --RRDL 5 --RTP 4 --FAW 18 --CWL 6 --WTRS 4 --WTRL 9 --WR 15 --WRRD 1 --RDWR 18 --REF 17000 --RFC 248

These timings looks stable after a few days and give a pretty good hashrate improvement.

Zorg33 said to me share this set, because it's impossible, but working good for me:
--CL 12 --RAS 28 --RCDRD 12 --RCDWR 5 --RC 44 --RP 10 --RRDS 3 --RRDL 3 --RTP 5 --FAW 20 --CWL 7 --WTRS 4 --WTRL 9 --WR 16 --WRRD 1 --RDWR 19 --REF 17550 --MRD 8 --MOD 15 --PD 8 --CKSRE 10 --CKSRX 10 --RFC 250

Now I'm trying these timings. Tiny bit better hashrate. Let's see the stability. Power consumption is about the same as the CL19.

I've tried The CL 16 strap --> -CL 16 --RAS 30 --RCDRD 14 --RCDWR 14 --RC 44 --RP 14s --RRDS 3 --RRDL 5 --RTP 5 --FAW 20 --CWL 7 --WTRS 4 --WTRL 9 --WR 16 --WRRD 1 --RDWR 19 --REF 17550 --MRD 8 --MOD 15 --PD 8 --CKSRE 10 --CKSRX 10 --RFC 244
but it gives a worse hashrate @ CNR, but still better than stock timings.

Still running. There is no problem even on the lower quality silicon GPU's (yet).  Ref Vega 56@64 bios, samsung HBM.

This is my lighter timing, hopefully stable:
--CL 19 --RAS 30 --RCDRD 12 --RCDWR 6 --RC 44 --RP 13 --RRDS 5 --RRDL 5 --RTP 4 --FAW 18 --CWL 6 --WTRS 4 --WTRL 9 --WR 15 --WRRD 1 --RDWR 18 --REF 17000 --RFC 248

please test it.
latest 19.4.1 drivers. win10
vega64 lc ~1360/1100@875 51.4mhs with claymore 12. But hbm temp is hot 70C and one weaker vega gives sometimes red incorrect shares

22.3 kh/s trtl, testing for pool speed and hw errors

Power Consumption at HW info ?
150 for eth and 135 for trtl

I'm testing it on my both 6 and 5 card rigs.
On the 6 card rig power consumption went up from 1155W to 1205W for roughly 10% hashrate gain (these are the worse silicon GPU-s, 3 of those running on 0.85V, 1 on 0.8375, last 2 on 0.825V).
Unfortunately currently there is no watt meter on the 5 card rig.
I will update about the stability.

What happen with the timings when you reboot?
If it stays after reboot, how do you set the timings back to the default values?

Thx! It works, but ~730h/s seems a little bit low for me.
What are the optimum settings for RX570-s. Asus ROG STRIX 570 4GB with 1500+ memory timing bios mod.

Intensity set to 58.
1250/2000MHz GPU/MEM  @ 0.9V (0.8875V)  , MEM maxed out for these timings.

I rather want to see it around 900 H/s.

I have a little problem.
I'm using srb, for more than a month on my vega rigs and it works perfectly with auto settings.

I want to mine with my home pc which has an rx570 4gb in it. If I start it wit auto settings it quits instantly and says to set an intensity level.
If I set an intensity, thread, work etc.. it starts but 0 h/s. I have no idea what happens. Stock GPU setting at first.

Any idea?

you can use any other remote tool like teamviewer or anydesk, there are no problems with them

I'm using this one for 2 years now and there was no problem before.

Interesting... --> for the 3rd try it works well now.

Does this miner client have hardware error messages (for improper VGA settings, like too much OC or too much undervolt) or just hangs up without any error message?
If it gives error messages what are those? --> just for look after those messages in the logfile

I have an issue with my 6 card ref vega 56 @ 64 rig.
Everything work well for hours or day(s) long until the fan speed of 1 card drops to 7-800 rpm, then the cast-xmr stops, sometimes freezes.
I've experienced this before on a completely different rig as well.

Did anyone experience something similar?
Any ideas?

Windows re-install takes a lot of time. Especially if one has to then also wait for all updates (incl 1709 fall creator's update). We're talking hours there unfortunately.

I'll recommend using image with current updates. 15 minutes to reinstall with all current updates and automatic updates disabled as free bonus in my case.
Wanted to create an image of the fully working system... Unfortunately I hadn't got that far yet. Oh well. Since I don't have a spare GPU at hand (not going to take any off my working rigs just for this, that'd be asking for trouble), re-install here we come.

Also, is there anywhere I could get devcon.exe without having to download the whole Windows Drivers Kit?

https://drive.google.com/open?id=17izKYHLxoNoHG22Y8hfHxXktOn3nXTFM
There you go. Script also included.
