Yes, their support responded, now I'm waiting for analysis of logs etc.
Have no idea what to do, I can see weird values when parsing the log:

See the manual,
https://canaan.io/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/Avalon1047_UserManual_EN.pdf

Quote from: Canaan
Restore factory settings: When power is on (before the indicator flashes ), press the FUNC function button for five seconds, until the white light flashes
to indicate success, then press RESET or disconnect the power to restart.

Was successful to restore and gain access only with 1 of 6 miners. Is there another method to reset / flash BIOS etc?
Also how can I handle FAN 0, Hashboard 0 situation? Probably there is kind of safety lock when the fan speed is not recognized to not start hashboards?

Thanks for the support!
I will contact  HagssFIN too.

More progress, one of the boards was set back to factory defaults successfully, all others are reacting inadequate.
The one with 10 seconds online behaviour - after putting new fans started to perform normal, no red blinking anymore etc. Now the next drama, 0 hashboards, will soft this out slowly.
Tried to update to the last firmware, failed:  A1047-A1026_20033101_daa810f_57f076c.aup

The progress so far - got one of them working. For like ... 10 minutes. Then started to indicate overheating without any hashing, everything is stone cold.
Seems there is a problem to read fan speed, the fans are attached and at start I was able to hear brief lowering of fan speed, then went back to maximal:

Temperature 13C / 55F                 Fan 0

Still have problems to reset the miner to factory default.
Using the method from Canaan I was able to put the machine in fixed 192.168.168.168 IP, chis means service mode. But I can't still access it via web browser, only can ping and detect with network scanners.

Is there also a way to re-flash the board?

Canaan Avalon 1047 reset / connect to PC / PSU not starting problems

Hi,
I bought several used miners Canaan Avalon 1047 and I'm facing several different problems, maybe somebody have more experience with them:

1. Some PSUs don't even start. Is there some known issue to check first?
2. On some the PSU is working, then I see them connected to the network hub but no DHCP working (no IP assigned, just device attached to 100MBps port of the network hub).
The miner's board is blinking white-yellow-green-red-red-red-red and again.
Tried to reset them with FUNC, pressing for more than 10 seconds at start - result is blinking white. But after the restart the same happens again - no IP assigned, no access to the miner and blinking white-yellow-green-red-red-red-red and again.
Tried to connect laptop via LAN cable (straight one) directly to the miner, no network hub. Configured the laptop network as specified to IP 192.168.168.100 and tried to access 192.168.168.168 (the miner in setup mode). Not successful.

I need to set them to DHCP operation in my network, how this can be done - how can I put them in factory default?

PS: there is no 12V to the hashboards (yet), but with no network set on miner probably this is normal.

Conclusion - the simple exchange functionality CAN'T be trusted at all. Moreover Nicehash CAN'T be trusted at all, same old shit with small talks, when it goes to problems.

Whether it's bug or not, why the hell you choose nicehash considering you have decent amount of btc to trade? Because they have lesser withdrawal fee than other top exchange sites? I doubt that.

This has been the issue for small time exchange sites, first you trade with a little then everything went smoothly and when you finally decided it's a good one, you'll trade bigger amount then boom, they'll hold your funds.

Anyway, thanks for the heads up.

The reason was to use their new functionality - simple exchange.

From what I can tell, it isn't a bug.

They told you plainly
Quote
The amount shown is only approximate. Also, please note that all trades that are requested through “Simple View” are set as market orders.

I can only suggest you start using "Trade view" where you will be able to place LIMIT orders.
https://www.nicehash.com/my/tradeview

By default, it is a market order (probably because of what 1Referee said), and that you are able to change this very easily.

Which part of this is a bug? Did you place this exchange within the Trade-View window?

From what I can tell, you just wish their default was "Limit" instead of "Market", but that's not a bug.

What makes me think it's a bug:

1. They show how much you will get. There is no word about market order, just note about liquidity, which means more time to fulfill the order! When you go to exchange money in normal exchange, you know exactly how much you will get. Here the approx is 30x, that's crazy.
2. There is NO WAY to change the order from the dedicated exchange page. Only if you go to trade view, you can decide for market or limited orders. I wanted to exchange in simple exchange, that's NOT trading view - and definitely the placing of order is HIDDEN and NOT TRANSPARENT to the user.

It's interesting how "giant" and "leader" like Nicehash failed that miserable. Not even talking about liquidity of trading of less than 1 BTC for XRP (btw all the orders were executed in less than 1 second).

Conclusion - the simple exchange functionality CAN'T be trusted at all. Moreover Nicehash CAN'T be trusted at all, same old shit with small talks, when it goes to problems.

I have sympathy for you,but nicehash has had a history of wronging customers. Sorry for your loss.

Money come - money go. I just wanted to make this available public as warning.

Hello,
just to warn you all - there is bug in Nicehash platform, affecting their basic exchange functionality. They don't want to resolve the problem nor to fix it!

And sorry Nicehash, I did everything to negotiate, you decided to play fool.

Hello,
just lost last night a lot of money due to bug in Exchange. Please revert back the orders!

Seems, that Exchange work via Trade as Market orders instead of Limit ones, resulting in massive difference (30X) in price of separate deals! I wanted to exchange 0.78 BTC for 24 000 XRP, used Exchange and got only 4555 XRP. You can see also the spike, caused but Market orders execution in this case.

Cheers

Hello!

We have checked and you have placed this order as a Market order.
https://www.nicehash.com/support/exchange/general/market-order

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do in such cases.

Thank you for understanding.

Hello,
I know what market order is. What I told you here is that using your Exchange functionality (not going to place orders anyhow) performed Market order instead of simple exchange operation. This is a bug, that's why I insist to get my money back.
If you are not capable to understand my explanation, maybe I need to use screenshot as attachment. You can see amount of 23 000 XRPs, which I should receive. Silently you are performing Market order operation and as result I got only 4400!

To be honest, you need to give me also bounty for finding of such a major issue. Or I need to publish this in social media channels?

Best regards

How to stop MN in Windows? I want to try POS only.
Deleted the config file in AppData subfolder, restarted the wallet but my node was reported as running.

Go to Setting menu > Unlock wallet

I can't find such an option. Anyways seems my node is running.

Also I would like to know what happened here: http://block.digimoney.info/address/E21SUzTwmnZXgR3FY7oQQMY2dMXhQnLz6Y

Thanks for the support
I've updated the MN guides here on ANN, yes its automatic, if you have the MN running using the 2500 coins the remaining balance will stake on the same wallet.

Tried to setup hot wallet masternode on Ms Windows today, following the manual. Not successfull. I think you omitted a part called "PREPARING THE LOCAL WALLET (WINDOWS)" in that section, right? Please review that topic from the MasternodeGuide-DGM_v1.2.docx. Also on some screenshots the port is incorrect (inherited from DASH?).

Cheers

Well, relatively low volume of day trade - Volume: 9603.702154 DGM
Are you buyng for master node?

Yes, every day little bit. Have some in stock? :-)

878 left after initial purchase of 2500. I think it was me, who created mini-pump over the weekend...

i just started successfully 3 MN on the same IP same VPS. The procedure is a little bit complicated, i will create a setup guide this week. Doing final tests to check if everything is working fine and produce the guide.

Any progress with multi-MN setup? Is there a way to setup these under Windows, using the same downloaded blockchain?

Btw I may help with QA and guides.

Hi yes I posted yesterday on discord are you there? I will post the link here tomorrow.
No way to setup multiple on windows using same ip

Hi devs, fast response (almost as fast as DGM transfer between wallets, was positively surprised this morning, less than 15 seconds!).
I'm not on discord, tracking the progress just right here.
Another question - is there a way to run MN and gain profit from POS on same MS Windows VM/machine? For example if I have 3000 coins in the wallet,2500 coins blocked for MN, gaining profits for anything (500) on top? Do I need separate wallets / separate blockchain dowloaded etc?
I'm newbie, having basic questions.

Very strange I mined at poolmine.com It says Total Paid 1.02232630 FTO. However no transaction on explorer.futurocoin.com or on my desktop wallet.

Above was technical issue. I sent an email to the poo support and they resolved very quickly.

Yeah. Technical to the core (team) of Futurocoin without future.
516,882,957 (done: 2173.83%)  - like this one, greedy people - no single block even mined, except in their pool.
