With Omnitude, the idea is that all of the different people who are involved in ecommerce transactions can work together in an ecosystem that has been built using blockchain technology. The aim is for a more secure and profitable marketplace for everyone to use.

This project intends to connect blockchain technologies, ecommerce platforms, and enterprise systems in one ecosystem. Among the benefits promised are; lower ecommerce fraud, transparent supply chains, and the use of a single customer identity.

I like how Omnitude's aim is to lower transaction processing costs between businesses. Eventually, this means the cost of business to be greatly reduced.. however, I am concerned, won't they have capital raising issues???

Overall it definitely will give customers lower fees and I think that's something everyone's talking about.

American Express  notes that 8 out of 10 people are willing to put in their CVV code from their credit card into an eCommerce site. Omnitude "blockchain-enabling" any eCommerce site removes this risk of credit card theft or ID fraud with its OID and blockchain verification mechanisms that  enable this.

Quote
Nearly eight-in-10 online consumers (78%) are willing to enter a security code (CVV) for their credit card but only 57% of merchants require the use of a CVV code for online customer transactions.

It is true, online payment security is a huge concern for practically anyone who buys anything online. If important information is stored, God forbid, in plain text, then people will continually be at risk of potential exposure. About 1 in 2 people have experienced fraud.

These are crazy stats... it is ridiculous how at risk we all are.

I hope blockchain tech will bring a lot of security to the Ecommerce world.... I hope Omnitude has great success...

Hopefully, their team is going to knock out Scammers and Fraudsters with their protocol for proof of interactions.
It allows anyone to look at any transaction, seeing when it was made between the two parties and if there's the previous history from that one party. It can also help identify whether or not a party is real or not, kind of neat I think.

There have been fundamental changes in the ways the customers buy products in the Ecommerce industry. They read reviews, they look for the right sellers and the pay using appropriate and proven methods. All this sums down to is that they want security and want to pay for an item that will come as described. They need identity verification that who they are pay to and who they are paying through are trust.

Omnitude brings this to a whole new level with its OID (Omnitude Identity) which can be listed across platforms.

Sellers need to nurture their prospects to ensure that they are provided with quality service and products.

Customers that purchase products after hitting an ecommerce site are approximately 1-3% as per this.

Quote
Online retailers put a lot of focus on communicating product offering as well as promotions, but prospects need more than that.  Value and entertainment goes a long way but that requires more work.

I feel like they made the right choice choosing hyperledger I mean with the number of transactions they're expecting they're going to need all the speed they can get. Plus all the successful platforms and icos are moving to Hyper L also.

After token sale on the 25th of April. Linux’s hyperledger fabric should be able to be adapted for the entire spectrum of Enterprise platforms.

We have to take this opportunity and not let this slip out of our hands. These guys are well above their competitors, Seeing as we're not far off from this date. Hopefully, they will lay out its roadmap, and fingers crossed and all will run smooth.

When you mentioned hyperledger,  Linux Foundation has developed this all on the blockchain framework because it is intended to develop situations with different modules. THIS could be really useful for allow Omnitude to be adaptive into different e-commerce platforms which their clients are already currently using.

Seeing how they are not trying to take over their competition rather allowing both platforms to co-exists ,
enabling deployment time into these platforms to be the absolute minimum.

Causing their businesses to grow as more and more platforms join Omnitude . It's really a wholesome thing that Omnitude is doing, have to respect that .

If I had to say their most interesting aspects, I'd say it's Omnitude ability to improve small businesses.. they understand that there is a grand influx of data floating around the Enterprise Arena and their idea is to utilise this to help improve functionalities and supply chains of companies alike.

For example if you can rule out all the transactions and preferences of your customers you could potentially improve sales by having a deeper understanding of who you're selling to.

Yeah I agree it really does level the playing field between the small guys and the large corporates managing to fit your position in the playing fields and really utilising Enterprise resources.

At the end of the day, this is the good corporate social responsibility we need to see from more ico teams. Way to go Omnitude !!

I’m not so familiar with all these terms and technologies... But why does Omnitude bet on Hyperledger?

Omnitude can have a positive impact on the business organizations. It will help them in their rapid development and growth because soon most of the people will be used blockchain payment techniques. It will allow them to revolutionize their website to provide the best customer experience and increase the revenue. Using Linux Foundation tech for the blockchain gives them confidence that the backbone of the system is rooted in deep research and development.

International Traders always had the issue of language barriers. If a platform is utilised by an international seller or buyer of an e-commerce supplying warehousing or selling site, then language will be an issue.

However if Omnitude's platform is able to integrate well into these types of software, then it will be able to handle this issue with ease. This explains how difficult it is for international eCommerce with cross platform support.

Quote
That makes sense as there are 200 languages with 3 million or more speakers, and at least another 1000 languages spoken by more than 100,000 people. It’s impossible for an SME to have a workforce fluent in all of them, and many would not be able to cover the expense of using a translation company.

Quote
Then, there is the issue of translation. Ensuring the audience can read the message is just the beginning; they need to be able to understand the message too. This is particularly relevant to any sector or industry where products and processes can be difficult to explain. If they are hard to explain in their own language, imagine how difficult it would be to properly translate into 20 or 25 languages!

A lot of sellers find it very difficult to identify trends and best selling and worst selling products or services within their inventory. This also contributes to them not restocking adequate supplies on time and with an efficient memes. There is the problem of too much inventory where capital is being eaten away and profits are being wasted.

The cost of actually having physical storage space is also overwhelming and within the current years if you are in a city or metropolitan area the cost will rise as housing prices will continue to rise around the world. Old inventory will also be harder to move. Hence it is essential that inventory management is done properly. Blockchain Solutions buy Omnitude will allow this to function efficiently and save e-commerce sellers a lot of money.

The CEO has all the relevant experience you look for in someone in charge of an ICO including extensive knowledge of their marketplace. He was Managing Director of Pixel by Pixel which is a design, development & e-commerce agency, that he’s personally grown from a one man band to a solid 16 person digital agency.

Omnitude will grow to a larger corporation upon mass adoption by e-commerce SMEs...

This ICO's huge experience in creating & making a business successful and over coming hurdles presented to small businesses on their way to becoming a household name. The CEO has got over 12 years experience in design, development & e-commerce, so he’s perfectly placed with contacts in this industry to make Omnitudea huge sucess.

Let us all face that blockchain is really changing the way we make purchases and buy online. Once it has really been adopted on a mainstream level, business-to-business interactions will never be the same.

Because omnitude already has launched a proof-of-concept of its middleware platform provides the public a high level of confidence in investing in its ICO. This proof-of-concept does for things as per they're medium article listed on they're blog.

Firstly customers will be able to trial the omnitude system by registering on a trial e-commerce website.

Secondly the profile will create the customer and omnitude ID that will be registered to your identity for whichever e-commerce site that omnitude acts as it's middleware.

Thirdly the data between these different systems where omnitude access the middleware will be able to identify yourself and use it to make pretend purchases between the sites.

Finally the customers able to view an interface where it can show the entire platforms functionality as well as the code and any tasks that may be triggered during the smart contract replenishment period

At least that was outlined all on Medium through the Omnitude Blog.

Let us all face that blockchain is really changing the way we make purchases and buy online. Once it has really been adopted on a mainstream level, business-to-business interactions will never be the same.

Ebay, Amazon and even Alibaba and its variants have revolutionised the way we purchase items and the speed at which we are able to have them delivered. It truly is about the convenience and the hassle-free way of living.

With blockchain tech, we can expect a significant disruption with these ecommerce giants as it will innovate how quickly, efficiently and with a great level of security that we can conduct online transactions and purchases.

E-commerce fees and percentage margins are way to big. They can really charge this because they are the source of validity for the transactions. However, blockchain will flip that upside as each node is now a verifier of the transactions taking place. Hence, this eliminates the entire need for a centralised 'giant' to validate each parties' transactions with each other and with the business.

This is an application for success, I hope everything will turn out well and we will be able to use your program. This will be useful both for beginners, so I think and for professional traders. Good luck.

A really interesting project. Even more is credible because of the developers and the fact that this project is constantly evolving and improving. I think it would be interesting to participate in it.  By the way - February 23 - the day of the Soviet army.
Great project, but what is the guarantee of long-term work of this project?

Wow, this is a great project, at the first time I saw this project I genuinely didn't think that this is good, but now I think that I was totally wrong.
