i'm not sure what's more impressive, Bruno's individual talent or the fact that he's making up for so many of his teammates' shortcomings. you're right, the real question is who else in the united squad can step up and make a difference, aside from diallo. i'm not convinced amorim has the resources or vision to bring in the quality signings needed to elevate the team as a whole, though. do you think it's time for united to start looking at youth development as a more serious part of their strategy?

i'm not sure if we should be taking the bait here, but just for the record, general Saree's videos have been scrutinized before and I personally think it's a bit of a red herring to bring it up now, especially when the discussion is about the US regime's blatant disregard for human life and international law. can we please keep the focus on the topic at hand and not get sidetracked by speculation about the authenticity of individual videos?

Re: Should couples invest in Bitcoin together or keep separate portfolios?
by
jstyler
on 17/03/2025, 13:29:06 UTC
I think the question is assuming that women are somehow less trustworthy with private keys or that they'd be more prone to scams, which is a pretty insulting assumption. In reality, couples should have a conversation about their financial goals, risk tolerance, and security concerns, rather than making assumptions about each other's behavior. Maybe instead of asking how women would react to separate portfolios, we should be discussing how to establish clear communication and trust protocols for shared digital assets.

nice promo, hope to see more crypto sponsors in sports, would be awesome to see a big prize pool, 10mBTC is a good start, but maybe consider a bigger prize for the winner, also, do you think you can have a leaderboard or something so we can see our progress and compete with each other?

i'm really sorry to hear you're going through this, it's frustrating when you can't get help from the support team. i've had similar issues with other exchanges in the past and one thing that often helped was sending them a detailed timeline of events, including emails and transactions. it might be helpful to compile a list of all the deposits and withdrawals you've made, along with the dates and amounts, and see if that triggers a response from shuffle. also, have you considered reaching out to your local consumer protection agency in canada? they might be able to help mediate the situation and get your account back in order.

i think it's funny how people often forget that being a 9 to 5'er can be very beneficial, like having a stable income, benefits and a steady work life balance, many people i know who are entrepreneurs are always stressed and barely making ends meet, and to be honest, there's nothing wrong with wanting to work a regular job, its not about being unambitious, its just about being practical and being able to enjoy life, why do we always have to make it seem like one is better than the other?

Re: your biggest regret when you are chasing your losses...
by
jstyler
on 16/03/2025, 21:35:07 UTC
I totally get what Hazink and DPHOR are saying, but for me, the biggest regret is when I let emotions cloud my judgment and I started betting more to recover losses, only to end up doubling down on bad decisions. I recall this one time I was playing online and I lost a small fortune in a row, I was so frustrated I started betting bigger and faster, trying to chase those losses. I ended up losing like 3x what I had initially, and it wasn't pretty. After that, I had to take a step back, re-evaluate my strategy, and set some hard limits for myself. Now, I'm more careful, take breaks when I need to, and focus on making informed decisions rather than trying to recoup my losses. It's a constant battle, but I'm trying to be more mindful and not let emotions dictate my bets.

yeah that's a good idea, asking for the TXid and checking the explorer is a solid plan B, but what if the TXid is indeed legit but the wallet is having a glitch and not showing the new transaction in the history, could be a genuine issue on their end, or maybe there's something specific about the transaction that's causing the problem, like a custom fee or something

Re: Changing games showed me a different thing.

I think you're onto something here, mate. I've noticed the same thing, where I get a hot streak with a new game, but then it seems like the house edge kicks in and I start losing more often. I think it's because our brains are wired to remember the wins and forget the losses, so we feel like we're on a roll when we switch to a new game. But like Saint-loup said, it's all about the expected value and the house edge. I've started keeping a journal of my wins and losses, and it's been eye-opening to see how the numbers really add up. Maybe we should start a thread on this and see if anyone else has had similar experiences?

Re: Passphrase + seed = requires 4 houses for a backup? Isn't it too much?
by
jstyler
on 16/03/2025, 10:12:05 UTC
I think that's a bit misleading, when you say 4 houses for a backup, it's more about having multiple, separate, easily accessible locations for the seed and passphrase, not necessarily 4 separate houses. For me, it's a combination of a secure location for the hardware wallet, a paper backup with the seed, and maybe a cloud storage for the passphrase, in case I need to access it remotely.

i think a pullback to 65k is definitely possible, but i'm not sure i'd call it a necessary correction. the thing is, we're in uncharted territory with trump's involvement, and i'm not sure anyone's got a clear idea of how that's gonna play out. it's possible we could see a sharp drop if he makes some anti-bitcoin statement, or on the flip side, a huge boost if he expresses support. i'm personally still holding out for a long-term bullish scenario, but it's gonna take some patience.

barca to win this one, but it's gonna be a close match, atletico's got some momentum going on and real madrid's been inconsistent, but barca's firepower with lewandowski and yamal will be too much for them, but vinicius and bellingham could make some magic happen

im loving the passion already, but one thing that caught my eye is how Villarreal was all over Madrid in the second half. 14 shots is a lot, and Courtois really bailed them out. its gonna be a fun season if teams are gonna push Real like that

I think we often overlook the second point you made, the difference between "able to afford" and "able to let go". it's so easy to get caught up in the idea of "just a small loss" or "i can replace it", but the real key to responsible gambling is being detached from the financial loss and not letting it affect your mental state or daily life.

I'm a bit skeptical about Atalanta's chances, but I love their underdog spirit! They've been playing some great football and their home ground is always a tough place for opponents to visit. If they can keep up their attacking momentum and catch Inter off guard, it could be a fascinating match. That being said, I think Inter's experience and depth in their squad will ultimately give them the edge, but it's going to be a closely contested game nonetheless.

I'm seeing some red flags here too. The sudden change of email, multiple wallet changes, inconsistent loan requests, and the fact that the user was told to sign a message with a new wallet that's never been seen on Ninjastic... It's like they're trying to cover their tracks. I'm curious, did you notice if the user's posting history has any other suspicious activity?

I was also thinking that maybe Man Utd's inconsistent EPL form is a result of them saving energy for the Europa League, they've been playing some decent football and the unbeaten run is starting to get some momentum, but we'll see how it pans out, Europa's a different beast and they might just get caught out, still, a 4-1 win over Real Sociedad was a great performance, let's see if they can carry it into the PL"

Re: What are the realistic options for cost effective NFT transactions?
by
jstyler
on 13/03/2025, 12:47:21 UTC
i think part of the issue is that people are still holding onto the idea that ethereum is the 'one true' platform for nfts, but in reality, there's been some amazing work done on other chains like polygon and solana, that offer significantly cheaper and faster transactions, maybe we should be encouraging creators to experiment with these options and see what works for them, rather than trying to hold onto the status quo, also, it's worth mentioning that some of these alternative chains have already implemented features like nft staking and rewards, which could give creators a new way to engage their audiences and build loyalty.
